why do cookies hate anything thats literally not the same as them like a cake can literally walk around and speak words but apparently that makes them a monster freak and if it's a cake beast then every cookie is like 'put that thing back where it belongs or fucking help my crispy legs'

the cr universe is just confusing about non-cookie npcs like

animals? theyre usually the ones who make the world function by doing jobs (squirrels are toy workers, eagles and rats are security, owls and cats are teachers)

food animals (butter tiger, cookimals, biscuit giraffes) are basically the cute normal things you put in your purse and basically accepted by cookie society

non-bakery foods? (ex: that triangle cheese character in the fashion events, coconuts, durians) are allowed to have nonessential occupations, but cookies have no interest being too associated

cakes? oh what the fuck those are monsters to cookies, they deserve to be in hell and are an abomination to society and are the most evil thhings to ever exist because theyre beasts unless they have the ability to speak clearly and be bipedal and not make cake noises even though cakes are made of similar ingredients to cookies but the ratios are different

nonsweet cookies? theyre on thin fucking ice in the cookie world and there have been constant moments where they often talk about that their dough shouldnt matter but apparently sweet cookies love to use dough flavour as a way of proving what a cookies personality is

humans? gods of the cr universe

During my development and concepting process for my Bio-Genesis project, I’ve found that drawing inspiration from other artists is a vital part of shaping my own vision. Here are a few key artistic influences that have been steering my approach to environment design, concept, and lighting:

1C Game Studios - Caliber: While browsing through ArtStation, I came across an incredible piece by 1C Game Studios from their Caliber project. The scene depicted a bunker-like laboratory hidden within an overgrown forest, and it immediately caught my attention. The way the environment blended natural overgrowth with an industrial, sterile structure really struck a chord with me. It was exactly the kind of mood I wanted for my Bio-Genesis project. This artwork sparked the idea of setting my project in a hidden underground bunker, and it became the foundation for the entire environment concept.

Daniel Jakobi: A concept artist specializing in sci-fi environments and assets, has also been a major inspiration for me. His work is known for its clean, futuristic designs and practical details, and it really resonates with the aesthetic I’m going for in my project. His designs have been incredibly useful for thinking about how to approach modeling the bunker structures, machinery, and other assets for my project. His work also helps me think about the modular design of the lab and how to create a space that feels both futuristic and grounded in reality.

Kime Honma: A Senior Lighting and Level Artist, has had a huge influence on how I’m approaching the lighting for my project. One particular piece that caught my eye was STRAY on ArtStation. I was drawn to how Kime used lighting to convey mood and tell a story through the environment. The way light and shadows worked together created such a powerful atmosphere, and it made me realize how important lighting is in setting the tone of a space. For my Bio-Genesis lab, I’m paying special attention to how lighting can influence the story I want to tell. It’s not just about visibility but it is also about creating an immersive experience that adds emotional depth to the space.

Made tumeric rice and tumeric chicken!! 😋

I've never made Indian food before. The rice is a little dry (I have a lot of problems cooking rice correctly lol), but not crispy or anything. Meanwhile, the chicken FUCKS. Very juicy, cooked well, nice texture. It tastes great; I'm really happy with it! Maybe one of my most successful dishes so far regarding technical skill.

Main criticisms are the roasted red pepper flakes I used in place of cayenne pepper, and the onions I put in the rice--they didn't cook down enough and burnt. The red pepper flakes are too big and I didn't dice the onions finely enough. I thought I dumped them all, but a few stragglers were left behind and just sat burning I guess :/ So my rice missed out on the onion flavoring part too. (Tried onion powder. Surprise! It burnt lol) I also had to substitute chicken broth for chicken bouillon cube broth.

Overall, I think it could stand to have a more diverse flavor profile. These dishes probably shouldn't go together as a meal. Tumeric rice is more of a side dish. They're not bad together--they actually taste better eaten together--it's just a lot of tumeric lol.

But I'm happy with it! Would love to hear any thoughts or anything (. ❛ ᴗ ❛.)

tag your signature spice or herb. and no, it can't be garlic. we all use 18 cloves of garlic in everything. mine is smoked paprika <3

First question: does the group keep the cookimals from doing stupid things or is wind archer the only one who watches them?

Second question: Do the dragon group hangout together or do they just do their own thing?

Wind Archer takes care of the Cookiemals most of the time but every now and then he probably needs to leave for something and gets the other Four (or just one or two if not all of them are available) to babysit them

Sorry, I didn't know what to draw for the second question lmao

The dragons probably stay in their own domains most of the time, but as siblings they get together every now and then to hang out, have meetings, beat each other up, etc.

my boyfriend and I made the best pasta on Monday. it was rotini with really nice Italian sausage in it. He also showed me that you can salt your water and it'll flavor the pasta. And I have been, but only a moderate amount, to help the water boil faster. he used like a lot lol. it tastes so much better this way!! might make some more for myself later today
