Sorry for double posting but this is a different topic entirely. I'm so tired. I want to feel safe, and open up. I do! I know I suck at communication, I always have, and I want to get better but . waves hands around. This is why I don't want to open up! I say how I feel, they start crying and I have to comfort them. (My issues are a trigger so I can't talk about them, I've accepted this) I offhandedly mention how I met someone cool, a sourcemate, and now I can't see them again and I'm sad. They get upset and I have to comfort them (It's another sensitive topic for them so I'll never bring it up again) Even if I want to ask for comfort the blame is always shifted onto me, partially because their alter's goals are to comfort the host, not me (makes sense, I get it, no judgment /gen) and partly because I push all the blame onto myself (what kind of dick tells someone who's crying that they triggered themselves? I'd rather take everything onto myself than force it on them) but what am I supposed to do? I only feel safe talking to them and god I can't even talk to them and this is why I don't talk about my feelings. I just want to be comforted and validated once, is that too much to ask? To be able to talk about my issues without it ending in me comforting them? I guess I have no right to complain. I'm the one taking everyone's issues onto myself. pronouns by default are he/they/it but in the context of fem-aligned kins you can she/her me (will star those on the kinlist), feels good when its for kin reasons. i’m transmasc nonbinary (anarchogender if we wanna get xenogender level of specific) on a general basis, but also genderfluid and kin fucks w gender stuff sometimes and there WILL be occasional contradictions but queerness is like that
