Imagine if Farmer has insomnia due to overwork, worry or nightmares and they go to Ridge Falls on a summer night, exempt from Gabriela's corruption, lie down on the grass and just close their eyes. The freed spirits will feel the tired aura emanating from their savior and begin circling above Farmer's head like fireflies, sending soothing waves and humming a barely audible melody.

Raeriyala comes to this cluster of spirits, sees the Farmer trying to sleep, and sits down next to them on the grass. She will put their head in her lap, and burrow her hand in the young hero's hair, stroking their head softly. She will begin to hum a beautiful melody, in time with the one recently sung by the spirits that surrounded them both. No words, only angelic singing will fill the magic waterfall, lulling the Farmer and plunging them into the realm of dreams. Just as Rae had helped her longtime friend, Farmer's Grandmother, with the same sleep problem.

when i took the 'what job should you have' quiz they made us to do in highschool i got historian, magician, mortician, and garbage collector like. every time. so basically gross shit or jobs where i work by myself.......

I was rambling on the issue of museums and human remains and how certain populations are more likely to have their bodies put on display to be gawked at and then went "well I guess the Pompeii casts were of Europeans. there are bones in there right?" and Googled it to make sure, at which point I confirmed that yes there are bones in there, but more interestingly DNA testing revealed that a cast of an adult holding a child everyone assumed was a mother and child were, in fact, a man and a kid entirely unrelated to him. Honestly that's more moving to me. Maybe they were connected in a way other than blood, but maybe a stranger saw a child when the world was ending and thought the one thing he could do was hold them.
