Name: Makō

Physical Description: A young boy with straight black hair that reaches his shoulders, and freckles absolutely covering his entire face. He wears a necklace made out of shark teeth and fish bones, and almost never wears a shirt.

Abilities: He can shapeshift into a blue crab with a white underbelly, and unlike most crabs, he’s actually a very capable swimmer.

Personality: Makō acts like a tough guy, but he’s actually really sweet. He’ll take on challenges and dares and talk about how he can beat up anyone that tries to mess with him, but the instant one of his friends is sad or angry, he’ll drop the act and do whatever he can to help them.

He claims he got all the teeth and bones from killing the creatures they came from, but honestly, he just found them.

“ Jess? I wanted to come check up on you” a still small Hemo searches for her mate... she’s worried about her.. she’s always worried about her mates. There’s just always that feeling in the back of her mind that somethings going too happen... the fear that her mates don’t actually love her

“Hey Hemo, what’s up?” Jess turned to Hemo with a smile... then stared blankly, her smile fading. What was going on? Why was Jess feeling so... blank and empty?

“ hey Dad!! Atarau outgrew his shell!” Ruby rushes to her father excitedly, carrying her siblings old shell as she chirps. The shell is to big for her- it seems she’s just showing it off

“He outgrew that? Looks huge compared to ya, kiddo!” He laughed. Funny how Atarau had been the runt of his clutch, and now he was clearly growing to be the biggest. Tamatoa couldn’t be more proud.

“Whoa!”

Huaka and Taonga peered out of their rooms and quickly scuttled over. Taonga started examining the shell while Huaka tackled her sister.

“Hey Ruby!” she squealed as she gave her a hug.

“Where’s Atarau?” Taonga asked. “If his old shell is here, then where is he? Is he with mom?”

Hugs from big strong Hemo who loves Jess dearly

Jess giggled and purred. Wanting to give back all the love and affection, she carefully picked up her mate, nuzzled her, and give her big kisses.

( Hemo to giant Jess) “ did it cause massive amounts of property damage...?” “ when you fell from heaven”

Giant Jess just blushed and squealed, pressing her head to the ground. “Eleven out of ten~!” She exclaimed.

Jess giggled and kissed back, blushing. “My love~!”

A pint sized Hemo casually hides up Jess’s sleeve

Jess smiled, feeling something crawl inside her sleeve as she giggled a little. She pretended to be unaware of Hemo’s presence.

Hemo scooped Jess up and kissed her, holding her bridal style

“Whoa!” Jess squealed and giggled, kissing back. “I’m being attacked by a beautiful woman~!”

“ make you blush huh?” Hemo grinned and pulled Jess close, giving her a kiss and running her fingers through her mates hair

Jess blushed more because it was her mate and Hemo is a buff queen who is giving this tiny human kisses and brushing her hair. She giggled dreamily.“Hehehehehehe~”

( nice lil dose of fluff) Hemo slowly snuck up on Jess and sprawled across her lap, yawning*

Cue Jess blushing immensely because hey, her mate is on her lap like no one’s business and ahhhhhhh! She’s just going to hug Hemo and snuggle.

Jess squealed and wiggled, laughing. “EEP! I don’t taste good~ I’m not ice cream!”

In a flash the cat was replaced by Hemo, a big smile on her face as she pulled Jess into a hug “ surprise”

“Eep~! What a big surprise I got!” Jess giggled and hugged back, purring.

“papa papa!” Ruby cheered, dragging a large box towards her father, Atarau hurrying after her “ Ruby no! We’re supposed to wait!”

“There you two are!” Tamatoa laughed as he scooped up his kids. “I was worried you two must’ve fallen offa the cliff or something. Ya gotta visit me more often!”

He hugged them gently against his cheeks, but of course, the large box wouldn’t avoid his attention for long.

“Whatcha got there?”

Atarau slowly snuck towards his father. Hoping to surprise him. The youngest crabling hid behind a rock before jumping out and attempting to screech , though it sounded more like a chirp.

Tamatoa heard him coming, but he pretended not to until the ‘terrifying screech.’

“Ah!” he exclaimed, feigning fear as he stepped back. “Ya scared me, kid!”
