#fallforcostume day 22 is #past I don't usually do historical clothing, but I know clothing from the past has to be made a certain way to get the right silhouette. So I made cosette with a period pattern (and modern construction techniques). I skipped #fallforcostume yesterday on purpose because aparently I dont have anything yellow in my collection (yet), but today's theme is vintage and there is only one way I can fulfill that prompt. After I made cosette's mint and blue dresses I found out a cut of white satin in my stash and decided to make her wedding dress. This dress is not accurate to either the show or the time period, but the collar decoration is an actual vintage piece. Here is a life lesson I got deom reading les miserables: if a book insists on translating the character names run.
