This wonderful character belongs to @doofazoid. I have been lurking their blog for the past month I think and wanted to at least show a bit of appreciation to them and their work. how did Starlight Trio came together?

Flo and Chip first met at the end of Trolls 2, they were both separately captured by Barb and the rock trolls and were taken to Volcano Rock City. During the Just Sing number, they bumped into each other, and started to laugh and dance together as complete strangers, caught up in the music. A quiet moment passed, and they looked into each other's eyes for a moment, a small spark of...something?? (they couldn't quite name it at the time)...flashing between them. But Flo abruptly left to go board the funk ship, worried he would be left behind. He apologized to Chip profusely as he left. In his rush, he accidentally dropped one of his hair clips and left it behind instead. Chip, enamored by this stranger, took the clip and managed to bring it all the way back into the funk ship and return it to him. They talked some more and really hit it off. During their conversation, Chip brought up her childhood dream of forming a band, and Flo, equally charmed by her, happily went along.

As a pair, they formed the first two members of CosmicCalypso, which was unnamed at the time. After Trollstopia was founded, they found Presto and Bell (which are entire stories of their own) before they sought a rock troll. They asked Val, the rock representative of Trollstopia, to pick one of her trolls to join Flo and Chip's crew. Crash happened to be making a scene in the crowd at the time, so he drew Val's attention and she picked him. He was completely confused at first, and was initially unwilling to go with them. But the cheering crowd behind him changed his mind. Maybe this was finally his chance to make it big.

decided to keep Flo's old colors but also keep the furry edges for his body stripes!!!!!! squeeeee

updated Starlight Trio designs!! Gave them some much need tweaks and made them more similar to their respective tribes. Flo's isn't final, can't decide between this or his old colors.

i dont think ive ever posted him here but i have a Mount Rageous oc!! his name is Dewey Drizzle and he's a potential villain for CosmicCalypso!! he's a dj and fashion designer, seeking troll hair for its strength and exoticism.

Outside of Presto and the Pop Troll being gfs are any other members of CosmicCalypso romantically involved with one another?

I vaguely remember you mentioning something abt Chip Flo and Crash being in a poly relationship

(Quick clarification, Bell (country troll) is gfs with the pop troll, not Presto (classical troll) he's more on the aromantic spectrum!)

Chip, Flo and Crash are the main relationship and are all each other's romantic interests.

But each band member expresses polyamory in their own way and are all lovey dovey with each other at times (their relationships are very open), except Presto, who isn't romantically interested in anyone but still likes romantic gestures from the group.

So the gist:

Flo x Crash x Chip (Crash x Chip, Crash x Flo, or Chip x Flo simultaneously)

Bell x Pop Troll (No Name Yet)

Presto x Anyone from the band platonically

Everyone but Presto can have-non canon ships with moots/friends' troll ocs, which is the case already.
