Working on a cosplay for Sylvia Sherwood. The manga and anime have a sort of 50s/60s feel to the fashion so I want to do her dress like a couture sheath dress with a tuxedo front. I've done a ridiculous number of mockups and pattern drafting and have finally settled on something I like. I've started working on the actual dress, but the tuxedo front is just a mockup, it's my first time drafting a stand collar. It's not quite right yet but pretty close. The dress itself is just basted at this point to check the fit. The back piece looks short I think because of the angle, but also I'm only 4'11". I still might need to make it longer.

This year I wanted to be dress up as female Pennywise (who would have guessed?! 😂). But because of Covid-19 we are all staying home. But..that doesn’t stop me from having fun. I dressed up anyway. It’s not perfect, it’s not even finished but I still like it. But I hope to do it better next year.

CORRIN COSPLAY PROGRESS 02/26 [Part 3] So instead of doing the seams at the sides (after being informed by my friend, who will be attending the con, that she is willing to assist me getting in and out of this cosplay) I am now doing a seam at the back. Which makes me glad because I was going to have to put waaayyyy too much stress on the side seams. I determined that layering the foam is going to be the best course of action, in order to reinforce the piece. (As kind of seen in image one.) The more I look at the current state, the more I think I’ll forgo having the bottom arrow shape be floating and, instead, attach it to the main section to reinforce and strengthen it.

Progress of my 2B cosplay, the wig is styled and I have her headband and fabric for her blindfold (that has yet to be put together). I’ve also collected all my materials to make the dress, sword and all her other accessories

Finally got my wig for Kagari. No styling yet (unless you count flipping it upside down and shaking it).

Time to get down and work on this thing!
