It's Okay. 🤗 To just, be. A draft I cleaned up from something I wrote 2 weeks ago. You don't need to be in a relationship- To feel socially accepted. It is known that it is difficult to love yourself, What more, If you expect someone else to do it for you? You don't need to be making millions of dollars- To feel socially accepted. Money gives you freedom of choice, But it doesn't give you the freedom of the mind. You don't need to feel happy all the time- To feel socially accepted. Everyone is just as sad as you are, No matter where they are. It's okay to throw in the towel, Just make sure you get back in there quickly, Fresh and clean after your shower. Inspired by the film I love so much @aladdin, 🌍🕌🎶 I came up with a piece inspired by two scenes, One, when @menamassoud was coming into town on an elephant & that really lovely scene when @naomigscott recognises Aladdin. Unrecognizable at a distance, I flaunt my new clothes and confidence. I'm surrounded by a different crowd too, Who admires me for what I do, Not knowing that I am who I am, Because of you.
