I was listening to some music and I heard the line "Once I took your medication to know what it's like and now I have to act like I can't read your mind" and it threw me back to 1 hour after it all crashed. Back where I was still fresh out of hoping that everything is possible between us, where I thought that if I was only patient (I can wait, I can steal touches and hugs and on this weak supplements I can hang on until you decide I'm worth more), if. Back where I loved you so much it felt like drowning, like I was shot and I was enjoying the open wound, leaving poodles of feelings and red matter everywhere I went.

Your medication didn't work on me. You still live in my head even though it doesn't hurt that much anymore. The wound is a dull throbbing scar these days, full of rage, regrets, and couldvebeens. I miss you even though you could only work against me, not on me. I miss you with ferocity that I'm ashamed to admit. Once, I hope, I will look back at this note and I will wonder who was it about. i especially likethe bit where light catches it justtt the right way so you can see his eye poking out. and he looks sort of tearful and wide eyed. Which makes sense! He's avenging his mother, who was trying to avenge him! He never got to grow up !!!! he could've been everything. he couldvebeen so lovely. But alas

i miss when jason voorhees just had a sack on his head with a single hole cut out for one of his eyes. i know Friday the 13th isn't exactly supposed to be high cinema but that general getup just feels more desperate and thrown-together. especially since he's trying to cover his face because hes disfigured and (presumably) upset by it
