Husk  knew  the  shame  of  being  degraded  and  humiliated  by  a  higher  power  all  too  well  ———  the  weight  of  being  stuck  under  a  foot  dragging  him  through  the  mud  of  propriety  and  supremacy.⠀⠀He  knew  it  and  saw  it  so  transparently  through  the  spider  demon.⠀⠀The  anger  originated  from  how  much  he  resonated  with  Angel’s  situation. ⠀⠀At  least,  some  parts  of  it.

The  feline  demon  can  only  muster  a  hum  of  agreement,  knowing  he  himself  wouldn’t  be  able  to  bear  the  evidence  of  Valentino’s  twisted  amusement  all  over  him.⠀⠀If  his  own  soul  wasn’t  at  the  mercy  of  a  particular  radio  demon,  he  would’ve  let  his  wrath  guide  his  every  step  into  that  studio.⠀⠀Instead,  he  puts  away  the  first  aid  kit  with  an  uncanny  quietness  behind  his  bar  before  turning  his  attention  back  to  Angel.⠀⠀As  the  other  stumbles,  a  clawed  hand  reaches  out  instinctively  to  keep  him  stable,  but  withdraws  at  the  last  second  when  he  manages  to  regain  balance.

Husk  wasn’t  there  to  mother  him.⠀⠀No.⠀⠀He  was  a  friend  who  would  help  ———  aid  in  helping  him  find  his  autonomy  after  having  lost  it  for  so  long.⠀⠀“  Don’t  worry  about  it.  ”⠀⠀he  murmurs,  moving  closer  to  the  other.⠀⠀The  stairs  had  a  slight  incline,  but  it  was  manageable  if  another  person helped.⠀⠀“  Here.  Put  your  weight  on  me.  ”

Angel opens his mouth to answer before promptly closing it when Husk tells him not to answer. Instead, he lets out a huff of air before turning his gaze away from Husk and refusing to look at him.

He knows he's just making excuses. Trying to downplay the hell that Valentino puts him through just so no one worries about him. But, Husk will worry about him no matter what he says. He sees through him when no one else does.

"It's impossible to fight him." Angel speaks quietly, as if he feels like being swallowed whole by the shame. He purposely refuses to meet Husk's gaze. "Any time I do, I just make it worse or he drugs me. Both, mostly." He can still feel the drugs in his system, making everything so sluggish. It's not the drugs he wants, Val's drug never is, but he's got a nice little stash upstairs that he wants to lose himself in.

For the most part, Angel doesn't react to the stitching of wounds. There is a hiss here and there but between the drug in his system and the booze, he hardly feels it.

Good. He wants to be numb.

Soon it's over and he dares to look at Husk, breath hitching as he sees the clear concern on his face there. It's what stops him from arguing with Husk.

"I need to clean up, take a bath or somethin'." Husk hasn't even seen what's underneath tattered clothing, doesn't want him too either, but he's going to need help to get to the bathroom in his room when he can barely walk as is.

He tries to stand on his own, tries to push himself up to his feet but he's dizzy and he stumbles a little before he regains his balance with a curse under his breath. "Hey, whiskers? Thanks."

both these people had the images from their post completely erased, their blogs completely wiped, and in partyjockers case the original post was wiped from the history of the site as well as any reblogs.

it's very strange that this has only happened twice to my knowledge and it only occurs when people point put staff's complete ineptitude and active malice towards it's userbase.

anyway screenshot this post just incase they start getting trigger happy. once is absolutely horrible censorship and should never fucking happen. twice sets a precedent that they will use this again.

I have not watched the live-action Lilo and Stitch. I do not plan to ever watch it. That being said, as a former Foster Kid, I want to discuss the implications of Nani giving up Lilo.

I haven't watched the original film in years for the simple fact of: It's portrayal of CPS, Nani's desperation to prove to a judgemental system and Lilo's lack of agency in the entire decision hits too close to home for me.

However, I would rather see that a million times over THAN NANI GIVING UP LILO.

Even without the colonialist implications, it is a disgusting ending to have for a film that is supposed to be about two sisters trying despite everything against them. To willingly give up her legal rights to Lilo for college, is a selfish decision and incredibly traumatizing for Lilo.

I know this because my parents relinquished their rights to me. It has been 13 years since that happened and I still deal with feelings of resentment, betrayal, and the idea nobody wants me. I was 13 when that happened, how would Lilo feel? How would any other foster kid who finds comfort in this movie feel?

Lilo is essentially told by her sister that she is not worth more than her dreams. That Nani, the only living relative she has left and has known her whole life, didn't even want to try for her? THATS A HAPPY ENDING TO DISNEY???

It's so disgusting. I'm never watching this film and I will happily rewatch the animated original.

An elderly man in a suit answered, probably a butler—the Waynes were certainly rich enough for it.

"What is your purpose for visiting Wayne Manor?" A posh, British voice inquired.

Well, too late to go back now.

"I'm Danny Fenton from Child Protective Services and I'm here to investigate Bruce Wayne for violations of child endangerment and labor laws."
