anyway top 5 Cassandra Cain Crash outs (in no particular order, also may not be top 5 just the ones I can think of rn and they’re all from batgirl 2000)

when she saw someone shoot and kill one of his own guys and got so mad at him she stopped his heart so he would know what it felt like to die

When she woke up in the ambulance after getting the shit beat out of her by lady shiva and jumped out of the moving ambulance, crashed into a police car then went to go fight shiva again with like 4x the amount of injuries she had the first time (all while shirtless btw because her shirt got shredded when she threw herself at the police car)

When Steph died and she spent the entire rest of her run crashing out every 5 seconds (I can’t give all the examples rn but it’s basically just all the batgirl 2000 comics after no mans land)

when she got kicked into a barrel of illegal drugs then proceeded to hallucinate her friends and family saying mean things to her and also the devil and angel on her shoulders fighting, the devil one then she crashed out and beat up all the drug gang members then when nightwing showed up she kicked him through a window

when she decided that she had to fight the joker to prove herself as batgirl so broke him out of prison and when she couldn’t read his body language she called him boring then beat the shit out of him when he dropped his guard

There are way more than this btw, everyone in the batfam is a certified crash out but Cass isn’t recognised as much as she should be and that should be changed. Crashout Cain 2025 everyone!!

Anyway hope we get some epic new crash outs in batgirl 2024!!

Yo I'm curious about your color OCs. Would love to know more about them in general, + was Gray marked out because smth happened to them in-universe or you just changed your mind?

Gray was marked out because to explain Gray I have to explain Black and White.

so Black is the Queen and White is the King of the whole debacle. I've kinda flip-flopped on who's what but the point is they're the rulers. They have one son, Pink. Black and White are less defined than the other colors because they're just straight-up two halves of Gray, who is less of a "person" and more of a "creator god".

Again, I was heavily inspired by Kingdom Hearts 2 (my big introduction into Kingdom Hearts The Franchise) (3D hadn't come out yet), so a LOT of the color ocs are completely underdeveloped and their Constellations, Weapons, and Elements define them more. To use Black and White as examples, Black uses Darkness and White uses Light, Black has a Scepter and White has a Pike, and their respective Constellations are Corona Australis and Corona Borealis. Pink has the Love element (fancy term for mind control and general UI fuckery (again. 3D JRPG inspired.)), a crossbow, and Reticulum as a constellation. Gray, naturally, has Crux, the Heaven element (as a fusion of light and dark and therefore technically encompassing All Other Colors), and their weapon is literally just a Staff as a combination of the Scepter and the Pike.

most important that I should add is I deliberately avoided using any Zodiac constellations when it came to assigning them. Purple gets Chameleon, Silver gets Apus, Brown has Cetus - no one has a Zodiac Constellation, and they're more relegated to being, like, ancient divine guardian beasts sealed away or something. Again, the lore is somewhat incoherent because I Was Thirteen. Beige having the constellation of Ara the altar is because they're my lategame addition (Two Days Ago) and therefore a sort of High Priest type situation for the zodiacs.

My fav Cass crashout was that time he had to interrogate her father about the identity of a new villain, the interrogation would take place on prison during Father's Day, and the only thing she had to do was enter and ask a singular question. She remained calm and collected for a grand total of three seconds before knocking out every guard, punching through the glass wall, beating her father's ass and dropping a flower with a 'happy father's day' note on top of him

cass spit on someone out of spite and after beating a villain would probably break their car window too just to prove a point. you're just scared to give a personality to characters who aren't white

Never should've revisited Aaron's storylines cause it only makes me that much sadder and frustrated at his character handling now. Like lost Robert (who slowly contacts other people but never him and Liv - even when she dies and when Seb is taken/the custody decision with Ross, and only reaches out once to apologize during COVID), boyfriend murdered, lost his sister, lost his grandmother, lost all family connection (which only comes back because of Chas' cancer and his own cancer gene. More misery.), lost all hope of having biological kids. No major storylines but just loss after loss.

And on top of that with how weirdly the show is shot and written now, there's nothing to balance that? His friendships with Mack and Vic have suddenly vanished onscreen. We never see him at work. No Chas and Paddy checking in on him about Robert suddenly living in the village again (never mind that he crashed his wedding!!). Even his rivalry with Ross is just...gone. The most isolated this character has been inside and outside the narrative.

And now we're gonna have to sit and watch Aaron spiral after realizing John is a lying murderer who stayed in the village for Aaron (more blame), and then he's going to have to grovel to that blond demon (who he should honestly never have to apologize to again. #mytruth) because he was right about John and he didn't believe him. Hell on Earth for me personally!!!!
