In one he's supporting the child and the other, he wants to lean on someone for a moment and stop there and he chooses Will. That's obsession but mixed with deep and profound love.

I just had a crazy thought about Bi-Han's hatred for his father…

What if Bi-Han let him die because he was against his relationship with Sektor? And wanted him to marry another future clan leader like Harumi (if Kuai has known Harumi since childhood as he says, Bi-Han and his father must have known her too)? Because we know that it was Bi-Han who made Sektor second in command of the Lin Kuei, she was just the daughter of a master armorer before he became Grandmaster…

Although her mother had some respect as a warrior leader, that is nowhere near the same status that Bi-Han gave her as his lieutenant.

And from what I could gather from the story mode, bios and intros, there is a kind of caste system in the Lin Kuei…

Where you're born knowing that when you're ready you'll have to take on your parents' role in the clan, a role that they train you to take on from childhood and most likely you have no power to choose to be anything else.

I personally find this less vile than letting his own father die just to take over leadership as Scorpion claims he did (which doesn't even make sense since he would be made Grandmaster for being the oldest and having trained to take that position since childhood, anyway). And also, to me, this would align more with Sektor's bio, since she holds both of her parents in the highest regard.

Like, how could someone like her, who idolizes her parents, think of a man who let his own father die "out of pure impatience to lead" as a kindred spirit, supports him unconditionally and be so indifferent to the fact that he did such a thing?

Did she hate Bi-Han's father too? And if so, why?

Does she simply loves Bi-Han so much that she ignores her own moral values ​​to be with him?

Or did Bi-Han actually have a reason to hate him so much to the point of letting him die and she knows what it is (and naturally, she agrees)?

Home's past. Reality, my paranoia (surely) or just pure coincidence?

Home's parents passed away. Apparently both at the same time, so probably it has been some type of accident.

Probably when he was little, because it seems like he was raised mostly by his grandfather.

Apparently he never drinks. Maybe he's just a teetotaler or alcohol makes him uncomfortable (which I can understand).

But the way he spoke with his uncle makes me feel that there is some reason that Somkid, as a relative, should know about. Or he just says it because it is the minimum information that anyone should know and not ignore about their relatives. He is either a bad uncle who doesn't know anything about his nephew or the situation has a darker undertone that he knows about (like a traggic event or something like that).

But anyway, Home doesn't act like someone who just doesn't like alcohol or is uncomfortable. His looks and his way of acting are that of someone who is scared of it and certainly, the interaction with his uncle seems a bit tense. But maybe it's just my imagination...

And as several people have pointed out in different posts that I have seen on various social networks, it seems that in his nightmare Home does drink. So he associates alcohol with something really bad (despite not being drunk when he ran over Peach). But what could be the reason? Maybe his parents accident?

Bonus 1:

The shitty bitch witch seems to be related with a lot of trafic accidents...

Probably she tried to kill Home and following my theory, this may be how his brother (Home's father) died was asassinated. She's so crazy about owning everything, what else could make sense than getting rid of the competition? First father, then son.

Bonus 2:

Home also knows how to do CPR, wich is impresive for a spoiled rich brat that all he seemed to do was party constantly and I don't think ever did anything by himself. It's probably a coincidence, but in my crazy theory it could be that he learned it because of his parents' accident (you know, to help someone in the same situation). Although if that was the case, I think he would have used it when he ran over Peach, so he most likely learned it after that (or rather, because of it). He felt guilty for running him over and probably killing him, so it makes sense to want to be able to do what you couldn't at that time.

Anyway, most likely there is no mystery and he is simply abstemious, but i really like making theories.

I'm done rambling about my crazy idea and I might be going to write a couple of fics with this in mind.

Genuine question but was there any mention of Vive being a sickly child ??

cuz even if Vive is half mortal, salt and iron will hurt? her and I'm not sure if Eva and Justin treated it like an allergy( but then again, Justin had a forge in the back yard, Vive has a high chance of being exposed to Iron so maybe not ) but if Vive was a slightly sickly child I think that made it easier for the sisters to believe that Oak was Madoc's child and Vive's half sibling.
