Tumblr media
— LIGHT
↘ Oh, she is definitely one of the most beautiful women in the university and gets a scholarship every year for her academic achievements. She is not competitive and doesn’t try to be; she simply has an innate talent for quickly remembering informations and numbers and uses it to get the best grades, and thus awards or recognition among professors.
↘ She is not very interested in relationships; many boys chase after her, but she doesn’t care at all. Brown-haired girl much more prefers to focus on her career and private goals (both in the Kira case and her job in the investigative department).
↘ Nevertheless, if the situation requires it, she will use her charm and grace to achieve what she needs. This woman will stop at nothing when her own life is at stake.
Tumblr media
— LAWLIET
↘ I imagine she’s wearing these cool, fluffy hoodies and huge pants tightly tightened around the waist. She is the definition of a woman who likes to play video games, drink energy drinks, watch anime and sit in her own room (alone).
↘ Just like the original L, she also likes sweets and juicy fruits. I imagine her favorites are mango or peaches. In my head I think that she is a vegetarian and cooks well to maintain a healthy, balanced diet based on the right products.
↘ She is an introvert and it’s hard to make friends with her, even though I personally find her a very attractive woman. However, she seems to be unapproachable and therefore has no success in friendship or love.
Tumblr media
— BEYOND
↘ She is a loner who devotes herself to her own projects. She has at most one friend, but she lives alone in a small studio apartment with her beloved cat (she is definitely a cat-person).
↘ She studies criminology or forensic psychology and likes to listen to podcasts. She has very good grades, but very rarely appears in class (he comes to universities only when there are exams). The professors have no problem with her, but they know that she is a rather mysterious girl who struggles with personal problems. Nevertheless, she does very well, although she is an outcast.
↘ That girl enjoys night time and loves spending time with her cat while watching crime shows on Netflix. She definitely has trouble sleeping.
Tumblr media
— NATE
↘ Another nerd. The best student in the year, the best student in the field and the best student in the entire university. In addition, she is artistically and musically talented (playing the violin and piano, #canon). Although she doesn’t have many friends, she is quite popular and her white hair catches the eye of most students. She is very liked by the professors, even if she looks at the window during classes and does not write anything in her notebook.
↘ I think she is fluent in French, German, English, Japanese and Swedish. She likes to learn new things – she remembers everything so easily. And also has a natural talent for this type of thing.
↘ She doesn’t have a driving license and is afraid to drive. She’s definitely using other people for a free ride.
Tumblr media
— MAIL
↘ Not studying. I think she found work as a graphic designer, game tester or digital game designer. It’s something she likes and she’s really good at it. In the future, she would like to set up her own studio where she would create games.
↘ I have a vision in my head that she is sharing a room in an apartment with several people and she is that girl who likes to party and come home late. Plus, she smokes cigarettes and likes to sleep in late – a real example of a bad girl you don’t have to worry about if your boyfriend hangs out with her after school on a project.
↘ Nevertheless, she is a girl who sleeps with her favorite stuffed animal at night and I have no excuse for that, I just feel in my heart that she has a little brown teddy bear without one eye that she got from her favorite grandma and always sits on her bed waiting for her to come home.
Tumblr media
— MIHAEL
↘ She has many friends, but only one true bestie, with whom she is perfectly matched in characters. She swears, she smokes, she’s always late, she’s sophisticated, she’ll take your boyfriend away if you get in her way... She does not like nosy people and gossip about herself, which is why she always deals with such matters personally, preferably behind the walls of the building or between the garages.
↘ She is brutal and emotionless. She has definitely not yet met a person who could heal this little, wishing for happiness heart. Currently, she lives alone and spent nights in the arms of random men. She doesn’t mind.
↘ Somewhere in the back of my mind I have a vision that she has been to the police station more than once for theft or battery. But she has a rich dad, so she gets away with everything.

Red-hot musical maturity: Louis Tomlinson in Chile
By Savka Martinic | 25 MAY 2024
Louis Tomlinson, former member of the iconic band One Direction, dazzled Chilean fans with his concert as part of the 'Faith in the Future' tour, offering a show full of emotion, energy and a new, more rock-oriented approach in which has been working in the last few years of his musical career. The audience interaction, immersive graphics and exceptional musicians came together to create a magical night and from the moment Louis took the stage with ‘The Greatest’, it was clear that this was going to be a special evening.
Tumblr media
The encounter was a flight through his greatest hits but also an example of the musical maturity he has achieved through this approach that at times nods to iconic bands like 'The Killers' and clear influences of indie rock. This musical progression is also reflected in the level of visual design of the concert, the screens that adorned the stage were not only a complement, but were an extension of the soul of each song where the color red predominated as evidence of the passion and rock vibe that he and his great team sought to capture. This color choice not only intensified the viewing experience, but also resonated with the energy and dynamism of Louis' performances. The light and visual effects were a true spectacle in themselves, elevating the sensory experience of the concert.
Along with this, and recalling the beginnings of his career as a boyband member, Tomlinson's constant interaction with the audience was the beating heart of the concert. Between songs, he shared messages of gratitude and part of the personal and artistic journey he has had in the last 3 years. At various moments during the concert, he stopped to look and interact with his audience, expressing his gratitude for being there and making evident his intention to generate genuine connection despite the magnitude of the stadium that made each person feel part of something special, something bigger than themselves. This type of authentic interaction is what Chilean fans needed to feel and what has also cemented Louis’ relationship with his audience over the years.
Tumblr media
Along these lines, fans of the Brit expressed their gratitude with fan actions in songs like 'Kill My Mind' where the flashes of the cell phones in the chorus ignited a meeting that was beginning and that inaugurated the energy that remained high throughout the day. Each interaction elevated those present, creating a unique synergy between the stage and the crowd that did not go unnoticed by the singer, who was visibly excited and grateful.
Tumblr media
Along with all the immersive experience that was lived in the stadium, the setlist of the concert was a perfect mix of songs from his solo career and some gems from One Direction. The singer performed 13 songs from the album that gives its name to the tour, 'Faith in the Future', 3 songs from his previous project 'Walls' and 4 covers including memorable hits from the boy band. Songs like 'Night Changes' and 'Where Do Broken Hearts Go' brought a touch of nostalgia and tears among loyal fans, while new songs like 'Bigger Than Me' and 'Out of My System' showed his evolution as artist. The closing with 'Where Do Broken Hearts Go' was the finishing touch to a night that will remain engraved in the memory of all those present.
Tumblr media
Now, one of the most notable elements of all for those who have witnessed the different facets of the singer, was the change in Tomlinson's musical approach towards a more rock style, more mature and with much more aesthetic-musical coherence. Louis was accompanied by a group of talented musicians who brought each song to life with their skill and passion. The concert had rockstar vibes portrayed especially during songs like 'Kill My Mind' and 'Walls', where the guitar solos and powerful drums provided a raw and authentic energy that made the entire venue vibrate. In this way, his artistic maturity was also reflected in his musical influences in recent years, where covers of Post Malone's 'Chemical' and Arctic Monkeys' '505' were highlights, showing the versatility of Louis and his band to interpret and make these songs your own.
Tumblr media
All in all, Louis Tomlinson's concert in Chile was not only a musical event, it was a transformative experience where red, the talented band that accompanied him, his charisma and the genuine connection with his audience were the protagonists. With 'Faith in the Future', Tomlinson not only demonstrated his prowess as a musician, but also opened a new chapter in his career, defying expectations and captivating hearts with his passion and commitment to authenticity.

Graphic Design Communication is my choice.
Why? Because I love working with images. I enjoy working with visuals, creating compositions, and developing ideas. I also like that the process is mostly clean and structured. There’s no mess, just creativity and precision.
One of my favorite things about design is working with concepts. I like developing ideas, exploring themes, and creating meaning through visuals. It’s not just about making things look nice but also about telling a story and making an impact.
One of the biggest reasons I chose this field is that I had the chance to try it before. My two years at LCFE gave me the opportunity to experiment with different areas of design and understand that this is what I truly love.
I also love technology. Since I was a child, I have enjoyed computers, gadgets, and new tech. I like working with digital tools, trying new design software, and using technology to create something interesting.
My Experience in Visual Arts
Before studying at TUS, I worked in a photo studio many years ago as an artist-designer. I mostly worked with portraits and edited images, focusing on composition and aesthetics. I also designed photo books for weddings, families, and children’s photography. That experience helped me develop an eye for beauty, structure, and strong compositions.
I also had a short experience in a web studio, where I worked on websites, logos, business cards, and other branding materials. Even then, I enjoyed clean and polished designs. I like working with color, typography, and layouts that feel balanced and well-structured.
What I Like About Studying at TUS
One of the best things about TUS is the creative freedom we have. The assignments are broad, so we can explore topics that really interest us. I like that I can dive deep into a subject that I care about or that is important for society.
I also enjoy typography. It’s interesting how fonts affect branding, mood, and even sales. Small details like this can completely change how a design feels.
My Interest in Printmaking
Printmaking is also something I really love. I enjoyed the process, but it was physically hard for me, and I don’t like working in a messy environment. Still, I hope to keep printmaking as part of my design work, maybe through risograph printing, screen printing, or other techniques.
Looking Ahead
Graphic design is very connected to people. My past experience in marketing taught me how visual design affects people’s subconscious. I think this will help me in the future when I work on posters, branding, or other projects.
Illustrated books have also been a big part of my life. One day, I hope to illustrate and publish my own book, combining my love for design, storytelling, and print media.
For me, graphic design is more than just a career. It’s a way to combine creativity, technology, and communication. That’s why I’m excited about this journey.

Blueprinting My Future: My Senior Thesis & Artistic Vision
For as long as I can remember, art has been my way of making sense of the world—of speaking when words don’t feel like enough. Now, as I step into my senior thesis project, I want to use my work to do more than just create beautiful visuals. I want to tell stories that matter.
My thesis will explore how art can be a tool for advocacy, particularly for African Americans and mental health. I plan to trace influences from the African diaspora, pre-civil rights movements, and contemporary struggles, weaving them into a body of work that speaks to both history and the present. Through this, I aim to highlight resilience, identity, and the unspoken battles within our communities.
Beyond this project, I see my career following the same path—using graphic design to make an impact. Whether in entertainment, fashion, marketing, or philanthropy, I want my work to resonate, to make people pause and feel something. I’m drawn to visuals that don’t just exist but speak, whether that’s through campaign work, album covers, or immersive exhibitions.
This journey is just beginning, and this blog will be my space to document it all. I’ll be sharing my creative process, sketches, inspirations, and thoughts as I build this thesis from the ground up. If you’ve ever wondered how an idea transforms into a finished piece—or if you’re just here for the ride—welcome. Let’s create something meaningful together.
Stay tuned for more updates, and feel free to share your thoughts. How do you see art as a tool for advocacy?

A reflection.
ICT isn’t just something I use—it’s a part of my daily life. Almost everything I do, from gaming to social media to even simple computer tasks, is connected to technology. My hobbies, whether playing VALORANT and GTA Online or scrolling through Facebook, TikTok, Twitter/X, and Instagram, all rely on ICT in one way or another. It’s how I connect with people, explore new ideas, and even express myself. Without it, my world would feel a lot smaller.
Beyond personal use, ICT has completely transformed society. Everything runs on technology now—businesses, education, even the way we communicate. It has made life so much more convenient, but at the same time, it has created its own set of problems. Misinformation spreads fast, scams are everywhere, and people sometimes lose touch with reality because of how much time they spend online. That’s why I believe it’s important to be smart about how we use technology. For me, that means staying cautious, keeping personal information private, and thinking twice before trusting anything online.
As for my future, ICT isn’t just something I use—it’s something I want to build a career around. Whether I go into ICT or Cybersecurity, I know that technology will always be at the core of my work. That’s why I want to sharpen skills like graphic design, communication, coding, and digital marketing—not just because they’re useful, but because they’re powerful tools that can create, protect, and innovate.
At the end of the day, I see ICT as something that can truly make life better if used the right way. My goal is simple: use technology to help people and make daily tasks more efficient. If I can do that, then I know I’m using ICT for something meaningful.

EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Grant Geissman talks about "The Complete Moon Girl"
Interview by Chet Reams
Tumblr media
Chet Reams: Tell us about Moon Girl, the character.   Grant Geissman: Princess Moon Girl hails from the kingdom of Samarkand, and according to her origin story, she was “a woman of sensational strength, superhuman speed and endurance, and surpassing loveliness.” Along with this, she was armed with her Magic Moonstone, which “gives her the power of ten ordinary men, and guards her against all harm.” Her companion, Prince Mengu, was “one of the greatest athletes of all time, a true son of Hercules. No living man or woman can match the Prince’s superlative strength—except Moon Girl.” The pair eventually made it to America, where they assumed secret identities—Moon Girl as Claire Lune, and Prince Mengu as Lionel Manning—and together they fend off invaders from other planets as well as fight crime, and “dedicate themselves to the task of creating a better world.”
Reams: What led you to compile this collection?
Geissman: This is actually a book that I have long wanted to do. It’s quite interesting in the scheme of EC, because it’s the only superhero title they ever did. It’s well deserving of the high-quality book. Like I did on The Complete Junior and Sunny by Al Feldstein, everything is scanned from the original comic books, so the pages have that paper tone to them. Nearly all of the cover images were scanned from vintage cover proofs that were originally in Shelly Moldoff’s collection, and which I acquired many years ago.   Reams: Tell us about the artists and writers featured with in the book.   Geissman: Moon Girl is illustrated by Shelly Moldoff, who did the bulk of it, and Johnny Craig, who did the first couple of covers and a few interior stories, including “Zombie Terror,” which is considered to be EC’s first horror story. The writers are Dorothy Roubicek and Gardner Fox, a great writer who had a very long, important career in comics.   Reams: The book is being marketed as part of “The EC Archives” series, but it does not say “EC Archives” on the front cover. For those of us who have bought the other volumes, I want to ask will the book spine match up with the other “EC Archives” volumes?   Geissman: I liked the look of the cover without the “EC Archives” banner on the cover, and I also thought that since this book might appeal to readers that aren’t necessarily regular buyers of the “EC Archives” series, that it should also work as a stand-alone book. As far as the spine, and the back cover, I was aware of the fact that people do like things to match, and I think the Moon Girl spine matches the other titles well. The main difference is, because the full title is The Complete Moon Girl, there wasn’t room to put a little square with artwork towards the bottom of the spine. Inside the book, the design is somewhat different than the other recent EC Archives books, and I think it’s a hybrid between what Dark Horse has done and the original concept of the Russ Cochran versions of the “EC Archives”books, which had more additional illustrations.   Reams: Will there be any bonus features? Such as printing some of the original artwork, or EC related essays?   Geissman: Yes. Further to what I was saying above, my introduction (which is in all the EC Archives books) has much more illustrations than in the typical Dark Horse volume. And I also wrote a new foreword, which is has a lot of additional graphics as well. Throughout the book, there are examples of Moon Girl original art, hand-colored cover silverprints, vintage production material, Shelly Moldoff Moon Girl art commissions, and so forth. I think people will be pleased by all the extra material in this book.    Reams: What future EC related projects are you working on?   Geissman: As you probably know, Taschen is coming out with Weird Science XXL Vol. 1 (collecting issues 1-11). I helped on that book and wrote the introduction, the biographies, and all the story synopsis, and they have plans to do more. And I’m working slowly but surely to get Roger Hill’s book on Johnny Craig finished up and published, which will take a while, but it’s going to be a great project.
Crypt of MADness thanks Grant Geissman for the interview! "The Complete Moon Girl" releases to book shops on July 1, 2025; The book will be available in comic book stores on July 2, 2025!

CHARACTER INFORMATION —
Faceclaim: Rebecca Rittenhouse
Full Name: Josephine "Josie" Stattler
DOB & Age: September 22 + 34
Zodiac Sign: Gemini
Gender & Pronouns: She/Her
Occupation: School Social Worker
Neighborhood: Jackson Hill
Length of Residency: Whole Life
3 Positive Traits: Genuine, Passionate, & Resourceful
3 Negative Traits: Indecisive, Reactive, & Restless
INTRODUCTION —
Trigger Warnings: Mention of cancer and death
Josephine "Josie" Stattler grew up in Woodside, Michigan, a tight-knit town where life was predictable and steeped in tradition. As the daughter of Anson Stattler, the town’s charismatic mayor, Josie often felt the weight of public life. Her mother, Elizabeth, offered a quieter presence, managing their home and volunteering in the community, creating a perfect balance between the two.
Josie was the middle child, caught between her high-achieving older brother Thomas, who was a lawyer like their father, and her free-spirited younger sister Claire, who moved to Chicago to pursue graphic design. Josie didn't quite fit either mold; she was intelligent, empathetic, and driven to help others, which led her to study social work at the University of Michigan.
At Michigan, Josie met Ryan Matthews, during her graduate program. He was kind, funny, and shared her passion for helping others. After graduation, they got engaged, and Josie envisioned a bright future with him. They married in a small ceremony at her childhood home, but just three months later, Ryan was diagnosed with a brain tumor. The months that followed were filled with hospital visits and treatments, but Josie clung to hope until Ryan passed away just before her 32nd birthday. The loss shattered her, altering the course of her life.
Instead of confronting her grief, Josie immersed herself in work. She returned to Woodside and began her career as a social worker at the town hospital. Later, she transitioned to the school district, where she focused on helping troubled children. Although her work was fulfilling, it also served as a distraction from the pain of her loss.
At 34, Josie still lives in Woodside, but life feels off. The town that once felt like home now seems confining. She continues to grapple with her grief and doubts whether she will ever be able to love again. While work, friends, and her students keep her distracted, Josie knows she has been avoiding her healing process. Living alone in a cozy house outside of town, she often escapes into nature or takes aimless drives to clear her mind. Unsure of her future—whether to stay in Woodside or start fresh—she is determined to find her way.
MISCELLANEOUS —
Loves spending time outside, taking long walks through the woods or along the lakeshore to clear her head.
Writing in her journal is a way to process her thoughts, especially when life feels overwhelming.
Regularly volunteers at local shelters or community events, even though she keeps a low profile.
Loves doing small projects around her house, from re-decorating to creating handmade gifts for friends and family.
Drinks hot tea at least twice a day, especially in the evenings when she wants to wind down.
Adores dogs and often stops to pet any dog she sees while on her walks around town.
Despite the grief and loss, Josie has always imagined having a family of her own. She doesn’t know if she’ll ever be ready to love again, but it’s something she thinks about often.
Her lemon lavender cookies are a go-to comfort food, and she’s known for giving them out as gifts.
Even though their relationship is complicated, Josie feels a deep connection to her father, Anson. She’s proud of him but also frustrated by his political career.
A sucker for the occasional romance novel when she needs an escape.
