Hello, I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who have reached out to me and my family the past few months; for those who don't know, my mum and uncle passed away on the same day in June and then in November I lost my cat of 19 years, so lets just say 2024 can do one!

2025 brings me hope that the year will be better, and the worse of it will be over! I plan on getting back into creating CC streaming etc, but right now I am enjoying playing... well I was until my Pleasantview got corrupted due to user error, but no fear we have a new hood in the works! Pleasant Point - inspired by our very own @kashmiresims Kashmire Point!

Thanks to those who have been with me on discord calls and chats, especially those the last few months, you really helped me in more than one way and I would love to tag you all but I don't want to accidentally miss someone, but you all should know who you are!

What is to come from lordcrumps this year? Details under the cut!

So what shall we expect from lordcrumps in 2025 and beyond? That is a big question! So let's give a big answer! Below will be of some of my most asked questions, so hope I clear things up!

STREAMING - My first goal is to get Pleasant Point finished and ready to play. Once I have this I shall get back into streaming again, setting up a schedule and what not for those who are interested! You can follow here!

YOUTUBE - Can't tell you when, but I do plan on doing more on Youtube!

CUSTOM CONTENT - Everything that I have created CC form, I will go through and upload at some point. I have TONS of stuff that was meant to be in "sets" (sets like, every wall / every floor / entire stuff packs etc) but never got around to finishing due to my hyper-focus moving onto to something different. So instead of hoarding them, I will eventually get around to uploading them! Cos lets face it, I can always update at a later date!

TERRAIN DEFAULTS - My Pleasantview redo / Pleasant Point / Sim State University Redo all use custom terrain types (like lush, dirt, concrete etc), so they are not that user-friendly to just import and play sadly, so I want to create a tutorial set and videos to go along with them. I also have to have the CC released for them to work too! As well as tutorials on how to have multiple roads sets within in one hood / different roads for different terrain types.

REQUESTS - I still do not want to take requests, this is because I do not like to promise something and never deliver. I will continue doing what I want to do and sharing with of all you. Just assume that one day the entire Sims 4 will be converted by myself or other friends of lordcrumps.com *wink* @platinumaspiration *wink*

LORDCRUMPS.COM - This site is not going anywhere, well at least that is the plan, this will be the place for all of my released CC!

LORDCRUMPS DISCORD - Back in my streaming and YouTube days, I had a discord. Feel free to join, the plan is once all the existing CC is sorted and uploaded. Anything that needs play testing / unreleased stuff / sneaky conversions, will be posted in there plus any updates to existing CC.

LINUX - Thanks to @kashmiresims and @teaaddictyt i'm now a linux boi, so will update you how that goes - so far, I am very impressed.

My TOU, I have had a lot of questions about my "rules" and what not so I want to clear things up as much as possible.

I purchase the Sims 4 for me to convert the items to Sims 2, I simply upload to lordcrumps.com for prosperity reasons, and of course to share with you all.

Feel free to use / share / edit what ever you download from me. Not 1 person owns sims conversions; so I cannot lawfully dictate who does what with the downloads. What I will say is for authentic LordCrumps and co CC, it will be on lordcrumps.com, this is where any updates, fixes etc will be posted.

If you use CC for a lot and package up that to share, fine, just make sure they have all the dependencies needed (Sims 4 shadow file, master meshes etc) Just don't take entire packs and re upload and claim as your own? I only ask of this due to the nature of updating files with minor tweaks, updating and bugginess, if it is all linked to one place (my site) then all the updates will be there too.

Hair Defaults by Platasp - this is one download I will be strict on, do not upload anywhere else, this is because of how interconnected the hairs are to each other, removing one might break another. Any updates will be kept to lordcrumps or individual files on PlatAsp tumblr. lordcrumps.com is not planning on shutting down any time soon, so there is no need to re-upload anywhere else.

SIMS 4 CC CONVERSIONS - Yes, one day once The 4T2 conversions have been done, I will be working on converting CC for the Sims 4, but right now; no, unless its really spectacular. So please stop asking to convert stuff from Sims 4 creators as that does not interest me right now. The reasoning behind this is that if I start treating myself to CC items, I will get spoilt and not want to convert actual Sims 4 stuff, silly excuse I know, but I would like to convert the Sims 4 first. That would be cool.

4T2 Castle Estate Kit

With a HUGE assist from @tvickiesims we have managed to get the entire pack done!

The Castle Estate Kit is now all here!

2 addon windows to go under the arched windows, this is so that they all line up nicely!

Glass is separately recolourable to the frames, yay!

How to use the spandrels in picture form at the end of the image gallery!

Foundation wall texture is now a normal wall texture!

Deco fence and fence post to go with spandrels,

Build Deco for the cornices which are lovely and seamless - may need moveobjects on to overlap!

IF YOU DOWNLOADED THE PACK BEFORE THE UPDATE IT IS HIGHLY RECONMENDED THAT YOU DELETE AND REDOWNLOAD AS SOME OLDER ITEMS HAVE BEEN MADE MORE EFFICIENT / BETTER FOR YOUR COMPUTER AND GAME / LESS LIKELY TO CAUSE EXPLOSIONS! - sorry for shouting!

"LC_Sims4ShadowFile.package" is required, if you remove you will have blue flashing squares everywhere. If you already have this file in your downloads, you can remove, you only need one in your downloads folder!

Hi, LC! I came across your amazing (is this word even enough?) makeover of the Woodland Park. I read you're not considering sharing it because of how much cc it has (although I'm very tempted to make alexbgd's words my own: "at least package the lot and if something missing, I going to find it or replace it"), is that gazebo cc or actually built over the water? If cc, wcif please? And if you built it, how can I do it!!!? (but also pls consider sharing? but even if you can't, thanks so much!!!)

Anonymous asked; Hi LC, I've been combing through your 4t2 wall hanging collection, trying to decide what to keep, and I've noticed a few small issues: the "row of coat hooks" is only placable against the wall with the snapobjectstogrid false cheat. without it, the object hovers in the air, because its sits in the middle of the tile instead of at the edge of it where it would hit the wall normally. the "better as a pair" painting sculpture seems a bit over-sized. It's as tall as an adult sim. I know they're pretty big in TS4 as well, but not quite that huge iirc. could you maybe resize them a little? the "positronic pro magnetic knife rack" is missing its recolors. I used to have Veranka's version and it came with 2 additional recolors. Row of coat hooks has been updated and moved back earlier! I convert directly from the game with minimal details, perhaps someone else would edit it for you!

No plans as of yet, but there are plans! Sorry!

Hi Lord Crumps! Big fan of your TS4 pack conversions! Do you have any plans of converting the items from the new Businesses and Hobbies pack? I watched some reviews of the pack recently and it has some really nice windows, doors, walls and floors. And also lots of really nice furniture and plants and so on in buy mode. And the pottery wheel would make a great default replacement for the TS2 one if that is possible... Don't mind me, I'm just praying you might convert it at some point in the future because I really love the Scandinavian stuff in this pack and your and your friends' conversions are my favorite haha.

@platinumaspiration has been a busy bee and working through the items, she's making sure everything is perfect, then will upload when she is ready!

Not sure about the details in regards to defaulting the pottery wheel etc, but whatever she will do will surely be awesome!

Hello! In the 4t2 TV download, is the InvisiView Flat Panel Tabletop TV missing a texture for the lights on the top and bottom of the screen? They're showing up as "missing texture blue," instead of the lighter "TV indicator light blue" of the InvisiView Flat-Screen HDTV wall-mounted TV. Apologies if this is just a difference in the two TVs and not a problem. Thank you!!

Hi there Lord Crumps! I had an idea when sorting through your Outdoor retreat conversions - could you maybe turn the 'Rocks of fire' campfire into a default for the 'Logs of burning' maxis one? Because the new campfire has 26 OBJDs (like the original one) and I'm quite worried about hitting the object limit soon (as are so many...), so adding a single object with 26 OBJDs to the game hurts me a little lol. Especially when there already is a very similar object in the game. But I figured the TS4 fire would be great as a default for the TS2 one! I tried to do it myself, but was only partially successfull. Please save us from the OBJD limit, Lord Crumps!

We have clay hair defaults by wonderful platinumaspiration, and clay eyebrow defaults as well. Where are the facial hair/beard defaults? :)

I have been playing around with something, but I'm too scared to jump into the extra morphs etc!

Can I ask something that ive been thinking about for a few hours now, that i do not want it to come across as being rude, but WHY does LordCrumps and clique convert stuff that is already done? Because then we the downloader end up with duplicates and it can get confusing to find duplicates and not to mention that other creators might feel bad that their stuff will not be picked and used because they are choosing your stuff instead, which is not how the Sims 2 community works, we share and work together. Its just my opinion and I do not want you to be offended, i am just curious.

Hey Anon, Okay, this is quite a message to break down. First of, I assume that the "clique" you mention is myself, @tvickiesims and @platinumaspiration, @episims? (there are tons more people that I collab with personally, but these are the ones I mostly work with) If this is the case, then as friends we like working and collaborating together, many hands make light work in that sense! Like you mentioned, this community it built up on team work and collaborations, I personally love working with friends, and involving as many people as I can utilising their 'specialities' and knowledge to create awesome conversions.

So now onto the "duplicate" portion of that message, yeah fundamentally there will be dupes of stuff out there, each creator will do things differently, ranging from making stuff deco or functional, categorise them differently, edit the mesh differently, have shadows or not, reduce texture sizes / keep texture sizes etc, the list is endless. I convert stuff how I want them, how I want the object to be made. So to not "tell" people how to convert stuff to my specifications, I just do it myself.

I also like doing sets of stuff, so its a one hit download for all the items. I always hated it when there would be sets uploaded and the sofas would be on link 1, the chairs on link 2, the tables are on link 3 etc. I get overwhelmed so out of preference I just like a one link fits all.

Not to mention it's about consistency; like I said earlier I create stuff how I like it, if I include others stuff / or links to others, then they might not match, ie; missing shadows and what not. So this way, I know that all items in a set are going to be of the same quality.

Following on from that point, if I did link to others or include their stuff in the sets, it might go against the TOU of that creator - not that any one person owns the rights to TS4 conversions, but that's a different debate for another time...-

It is also easier for my brain to just load up Sims 4 Studio, see everything that belongs in that pack, and then just convert it in its entirety. I get overwhelmed when in a creative flow stopping to look around seeing if its already been done. At the end of the day, its not a competition or a contest, it does not matter if there is the same stuff out there, just means there is more choice.

Sorry for a long response, but I couldn't sum it up and shorter? But I hope it answers your questions!

Hello Lord Crumps, I saw an earlier ask you got about the SP53 Verendah set (door + arch + window) and the two EP02 Wendall windows being slightly taller than the wall, so they clip a bit through the floor above them. You replied that the issue had been fixed in the main download and on Discord, but I just downloaded the window collection 2 hours ago (because I don't have Discord) from your website, and it seem like the issue wasn't fixed in the main download? These windows and doors still clip through in game and I checked the dates of the files in the rar and they weren't recent either. So I think the fixed files are currently not included in the main download? Could you fix this please? Sorry to be annoying, I love your work and am very grateful for everything you do for the community!

i generate walls .packages in homecrafter, but they don't even follow a order, they appear disorganized and between other walls.. it's kinda annoying smh..

Hello, I have no done anything in particular, they do sometimes go in random orders there is a way to be able to edit the order though, im not sure how to actually do that!
