He would be so happy to do this trend. He thinks he only needs one pen. One shot. He sits down with only one pen in his hand ready to win in one go.

Well you can tell where this is gonna go.

He had to get up to go get 5 more pens. You're sitting down right next to him ready for your turn but, he never gives you a chance to go. He said "Not until I get this. Please". You feel bad for him while trying to hold back your laughter.

He runs out of pens so he takes yours. When he has one left he throws it. It makes into the cup. And it bounces out. You break out in laughter and he just feels so disappointed. He feels bad and still wanted to take you out so you both still went to dinner later.

Reo

Naaaa he definitely planned this for a while. He bought a special pen and everything. When he bought it the seller said it had good aerodynamics or something. And he ate that up. He talks up this pen so much you think he's actually going to make it.

Spoiler alert he doesn't.

He doesn't realize it but the pen is heavy, and when he throws it, it just falls immediately. He was so destroyed cuz he spent so much on that pen. He doesn't even try anymore.

You feel bad for him later and you take him out for dinner but as usual he pays for the both of you.

Nagi

I feel like you had to force him to do the trend with you. You just woke him up after he stayed up playing games the whole night. You explain the rules and he's like "sure sure just let me go back to sleep already". You have like 5 pens ready, also ready to give him the next one because you don't think he's gonna make it in his first try. He doesn't make it on his first try but after he sits up he makes it on his 2nd try. And immediately goes back to sleep while saying "told you I could make it".

Rin

He makes it but, it takes him 5 tries. He's on his last pen already and he's mad. He really thought that he was gonna get it first try and you were gonna let him go back to practice. But no. After the 3rd one you told him, he could stop and go back to practice but, now he has to get this. After he makes it he pats himself on the back, gives you that look of I told you I could do it, and leaves to go back to practicing.

Barou

I had this idea cooking for awhile y'all.

He, like everyone else thinks it's not that hard but he learns the truth in a second.

On the first pen he's like "hmm I should've made it but, ok". And on the 4th try, he's so angry he just breaks the pen in half. He throws both pieces and only one piece makes it in. He looks at you and and tells you "that better count". And you feel bad so you do count it.

Bonus

Ego does this trend and makes it. He doesn't throw the pen, he walks up to the cup and just drops the pen into the cup. He looks at you and just says "you never said I couldn't just put the pen into the cup". You look at him and tell him "the literal trend part is that you throw the pen dude" and he just looks at you like I did it though. "Get back to work. I did your little trend already".

Here's a more in-depth explanation of my Prince Merlin au I mentioned, this is just how the world begins to diverge from canon and starts to grow :D

A world, where instead of leaving Hunith forever, Balinor comes back a few years later, or just stays, period, and because he knows the risk he puts his family and the village with his presence, decides to protect it with all that he is, magic and dragonlord powers (even with no dragon) and all.

(I headcanon and overall just love the idea of Merlin's magic being the Ealdor's best worst kept secret: worst in Merlin not keeping it secret and the whole village knows, but best in, everyone keeps their mouths shut about it and never say a word about it to anyone outside of Ealdor) With this, I believe the people of Ealdor are a little cautious/suspicious about Balinor at first, he doesn't announce he has magic, obviously, but he also first showed up in whatever noble-ass outfit Dragonlords used to wear, so the people are right to be wary, not wanting any noble business coming to their village, but also, he impregnated one of their own and came back/stayed with Hunith and helps around, so he has a little respect from them (and if any Camelot knights came around asking for an individual fitting Balinor's description, they give a polite no/shake of their head). When they truly give Balinor their full respect and trust, it's when a group of raiders come along and he takes care of them with his magic.

So now the Ealdor community is even more tightly knit together once they learn/have confirmation that Balinor and little Merlin have magic. With their magic being an open secret, both magic users a little more openly, (and carefully, Merlin now gets a teacher to help him in using/controlling his magic), use magic to help the village: whether it be with the crops after a harsh winter, some healing magic whenever possible/needed, protection and deception runes so that everyone is safe and so that no one outside the village will notice Merlin's magic, since it's so strong. However, the only people they seem not to work on are the druids (especially because Merlin will feel their magic nearby, and it's just a feedback loop of Merlin being drawn to them, and the druids being drawn to Merlin, moreso cuz he's Emrys).

It's a surprise to everyone, except Merlin, when a group of druids suddenly show up to their small village. At first, they said they were only going to stay for a little bit, greeting Merlin and his parents, as well as giving Emrys their thanks (Merlin is deeply confused when they do this), but Merlin's suddenly around more people like him and he keeps asking them to stay one more day, cause they still haven't told him why they call him Emrys, and later it's, they hadn't taught him whatever enchantment they did that caught his eye, then it's, everyone's already contributing their share of the help, and they have their own tents, next thing you know it's been a month since the druids first arrived.

Unfortunately, Ealdor suddenly growing in population isn't as easy a secret to keep, so when some of Cenred's knights come to check and see if there's any sorcerer's about, there's a silence as both the villagers and knights just blink at each other, before an all out battle breaks out; the women leading the children away, into their homes, and a few of the village men, druid elders and Balinor fight the Essetir knights, all seems lost, until a little Merlin snuck away to go help, and seeing his father about to be killed, magic bursts out of Merlin knocking all the knights back.

Kari sniffled, looking into her papa's eyes, tears rolling down her cheeks as she just sniffled and listened. She looked down for a moment, processing what the hero said and gave a nod while her eyes narrowed a bit in thought. "I... Think I get it." She muttered, voice still slightly trembling as she spoke. She looked back at the projection and sighed. The child slowly backed away from Hawks and went back to look at the journals again, one last time.

There she read a few more journals from her mother. A few from when she was pregnant with her siblings.

"Today is September 29th, I gave birth to my little boy Kitearo a few days ago. It's been exhausting but he's worth it. Lynx has been a huge help in taking care of our son. I looked into Kite's future and I saw he was going to have a lot of siblings. Not my first choice honestly. If you asked me five years ago I would have said two or three kids would be enough, not seven. But it feels right at the same time. While I saw his whole life unravel I couldn't help but feel helpless... But a part of me knows it can't be messed with, even though I want to save my son from an early grave. I'll have to wait until all my kids are born to get the full picture."

Kari frowned, figuring out pretty quick that her mother knew the whole time, or at least had an understanding.

"It's Febuary 23rd. Flo and Fino are a few days old now. I got a bit more of the picture since seeing Kitearo's future. They meet a similar fate. It hurts, but seeing them work hard to protect their youngest sister, a little girl with white hair, something isn't adding up. I know I can't stop it but that doesn't mean it doesn't hurt a whole lot."

"It's been a rough few weeks, Shade has been a bit of a handful. Always curious but always quiet which is a bit unnerving. Sure she cries and makes noises but she's more quiet than not. The doctor says she has nothing wrong with her but I still worry. I was able to see into her future. Lynx has his work cut out for him that's for sure. So far I know all my kids and my husband die on the same day, doing the same thing. I can't say for sure where I am but I can make a few guesses. Again that little girl with white hair makes a big appearance. I'll name her Kari. Kari Kana Lee Himura, long name but it looks like it suits her. When she's born I'll hopefully get all the answers and try to write them down."

"Another pair of twins. I'm not super surprised, Lynx had twin younger brothers after all so I think that runs in the family. That and I saw them while looking into their siblings' futures. These two look mirrored, it's kinda cute. I've named them Boom and Beats cuz the symbols on their cheeks are cute music notes. They are the loudest that's for sure, it's funny. I've had so many kids and all of them are so different even though they're under the same roof and have me and Lynx as their parents. I know why they look so different and why their quirks are different, it's a side effect of my quirk after all. But their behaviors and personalities aren't tied to it, I don't think. It's so fascinating to watch them grow and develop... I know I probably only have a few more years to live. I've concluded I die in child birth when giving birth to Kari. I know I'll be leaving behind my family and my friends... But I noted that my nephew is the one responsible for the deaths of everyone, under the control of my sister given his pupils... Something isn't adding up but I'm guessing Kari develops my quirk. If that's the case then she needs to exist. It strengthens our quirk and hopefully she'll be able to help others like I did, in someway. Though that's her choice and I don't want to force it onto her. I'm glad dad talked me into writing that one entry about my quirk, I hope she can read it one day so she can meet me... Well, a snap shot of me. It won't be the same I know but it's better than nothing. I just hope she doesn't hate me or get mad. It's kind of a selfish reason but there's so much going on... I just hope she understands."

Kari sniffled, rubbing her eyes. "I... I don't hate you mom." She whispered after a few moments of silence, hugging herself. "I just wish I knew you." The child gulped and moved to look back at the journal about All of the Above and began taking notes. "But yea, I'm glad grampa talked you into writing about your quirk too... It's gonna help me a lot." She muttered then looked at Hawks. "You think we can go somewhere I can train? I... I wanna try doing this thing mom talks about. I'm not sure if I can get back into that weird mind space thing but... But if I can maybe you can meet my siblings, well a snap shot of them... This is kinda confusing." Kari puffed out her cheeks then went back to writing. "But we don't have to do it today if we can't."

Hawks didn’t speak at first. He just let Kari cry. He didn’t try to hush her or pull her away. He dropped down to one knee so she could lean into him easier, wrapping his arms around her small frame like he could shield her from every painful word she had just read. His wings even curled in slightly, a quiet gesture of shelter.

He held her gently as the sobs came out in waves—her pain wasn’t small, and it didn’t deserve to be treated like it was.

After a long moment, his voice finally came—soft, steady, low enough it didn’t try to overpower her crying but just… sat with it.

“I know, kiddo. I know it hurts. It’s not fair. None of this is. You didn’t get a choice in any of it.”

He tightened the hug slightly, one hand cradling the back of her head.

“But I need you to hear me when I say this next part, okay?” He pulled back just enough to look her in the eyes, his own golden ones steady and full of something more than just compassion—it was conviction. “She didn’t die because of you. That’s not how this works. She died for you. And that’s something only someone who loves their kid more than anything in the world would do.”

His thumbs gently wiped her tears.

“Your mom knew the risks. She was a top pro. She wasn’t someone who walked into things blind. She fought to bring you into this world anyway, Kari. That means she wanted you here. She made a choice—and that choice was you.”

-jimmy used to be a chipper happy extroverted sweet bundle of joy,his parent loves him very much and sworn to protect him from the world(they failed and Jimmy took it pretty hard),he changed his whole personality and isolated himself from his family and friends cuz he doesn't know how to face them,his dad doesn't understand why he changed and had a hard time accepting his boy become how he is now(and kinda giving off this disappointed vibe,Jimmy distance himself with his dad the most,Jimmy thought if his dad know him now he wouldn't like him,so he's just pretending everything is fine and try to get his mess together before his dad found out(that failed too,he's just stalling at this point)

-zoedy's low self-esteem(yes),her mums loves each other very much,so much they often forgot they have a kid to raise sometimes,zoedy always felt like a third wheel in the family even though she had it good(ish)she deflect it on herself,thinking maybe it's because she wasn't good enough to be apart of them,even when she's an adult and got a job,they wouldn't show up for zoedy work's Thanksgiving get-together(zoedy and Jimmy are usually the two whose family don't show up(even treemen got some space guys showing up for food)(Jimmy doesn't invite his family,he'd video call or voice call them tho)even most of zody's friends would take advantage of her easy-going attitude(which is letting people walk all over her)

-treemen was created for the soul purpose of safety importance(probably,it's been a long time since I've seen season7or8,I'm not gonna watch it again)he drives people nuts just by a minor safety issues,that's what he's born to do,and that's why the space guys freeze him when he's not needed,when he's free and got a job at the park he's even more annoying than he was at space tree,making a big deal out of nothing and get mad at people when he's not taken seriously,nobody likes him,and he doesn't understand why,he's just doing his job

-timmy,nothing actually,Timmy is happy the way he is,one day he'll leave the park and get a real job,but in the meanwhile he's just enjoying every aspect of being at the park

And how they ends up

-jimmy would be more open up with his feelings and communicate more,make up with his dad(realizing his dad is just stupid with words and are actually very proud of him no Matter what he's like)

-zoedy would be more independent instead of hoping to get recognition from other people,and stopped seeking for the other half to fill her emptiness inside her(mainly because she got a gf that loves her)

-treemen would be more chill and learn that he's more than a mascot of a tree and safety help guide,he can be a tree person and have friends(plus being less crazy about being safe,he'd keep his friends safe instead of screaming at them that they're gonna die if they don't do this or that)

L’s choice to have 12 FBI agents follow the suspects doesn’t make any sense.

Apart from Raye, who has a Japanese mother (even though that doesn’t automatically mean he knows the country if he has lived all his life in the US), we have to take for granted that the others know Tokyo very well, because if not, it is ridiculous to put some americans who don’t know the city to tail people.

If you want to do it correctly, you have to be familiar with how the city is structured, and apparently from when L asks the help of those agents to when they arrive is like 4 days. They don’t even have time to learn all the roads of that particular place. How can you possibly think they know how to hide in sight or appear as people who are there for other reasons

Agents from any japanese agency that wasn’t the NPA would’ve been a better choice, in my opinion. They are used to the Japanese environment and they look like regular japanese citizens, but it’s not just that.

To become an FBI agent, you have to be at least 23. Raye Penber was 29 when he died. Let’s assume most of the agents were around that age. It’s improbable that all of them were that well accustomed to Tokyo. One of them was even of norwegian descent, if we look at their surnames. But, yeah, we can pretend all of them had ties to Japan in one way or another, knew the language and the place. That’s not the only argument I have.

The FBI is a domestic law enforcement. FBI agents don’t often work outside of the US, since they have no jurisdiction there. When they are sent overseas, usually it’s as advisors for an agency at its same level. And there are like 250 special agents stationated abroad (and that would makes me wonder, why not use those in Japan? but okay). But if they want to make an arrest, they have to ask for the approval of the host country. They cannot just act how they please.

Same goes for the CIA, who doesn’t have any type of arrest power anywhere. They are an intelligence gathering agency. That’s it.

Imagine if Light’s power was different and had to use his hands. At least, a person who has jurisdiction in that country could’ve arrested him on the spot, without causing problems to the FBI, the US or L for conducting this top secret operation.

I think the PSIA would’ve been a better choice. They have no arrest power, but since it’s directly connected to the Ministry of Justice, I believe they could grant it for this specific operation. Also if L ties with it weren’t good, the FBI could ask it in his name, since they work together sometimes.

It’s a lot of time and resources to ship 12 FBI agents from the US to Japan and make sure they do not raise any suspicion at the airport, and to get them in such a dangerous situation, when they don’t even know how Kira operates, and can’t be fully sure they know how to navigate that situation. Familiar or not, if you haven’t lived in the suspects' region of Tokyo for a while, you aren’t fully up to date with everything that has changed.

Why do all this stuff when you can have 12 local agents with no ties to the Kanto NPA bureau? Just to waste the FBI’s resources? Because that would be hilarious. But seriously, I don’t think the Ministry of Justice/PSIA would’ve said no to this type of request.

Obvi I prefer to draw in a more Funkin'-influenced style, but esp. with how Pico is drawn I hope it's clear I was leaning into the Pico's School side of things.

I don't think I was consciously thinking abt it the other night BUT at least the first verse makes me think. Of the Love Conquers All version of Pico's School. An ideal ending; Cassandra is convinced not to carry out her plan, nobody dies, Pico certainly wouldn't be Going Through It. Maybe in this ideal ending they (Pico & BF) wouldn't have split. "In this world, we're friends forever".

I also imagine it as like.. basically how the art I did ended up being. They're just black lines on a white background. Faces obscured. Maybe with some visual effects that distort things too/ some pixelation whatever. I actually think I was planning to have some parts of that pixelated but forgot by the time I was home and could draw; might have been for the best but here's a version with a biit of what I'm talking abt.

They're in a void. Separate from the real world, but happy. Stuck in a loop of the happiest time of their lives (mostly thinking from Pico's perspective with that lol). Is that not better than having to continue on in a fucked reality?

Of course, that's not real. It's just an imaginary loop of "what if"s in Pico's mind. It's a world he built for Boyf.

In this world, Boyfriend is always following with Pico, always showing him kindness and always smiling. Pico's emotions are less readable; maybe in a proper PMV I'd give him his mouth too so he can show he is at least somewhat happy, but despite being the "leader" of the two, he is much more passive, reserved. They are always holding each other's hands.

Verse 2 would be the inverse (lol), signaled by the stronger beats kicking in. White lines on black background. It's no longer the ideal world, and instead the "real world". Real, but distorted by trauma. "Inside my code, you'll always be". The world Cass built for Pico.

The bit of instrumental between verses 2 & 3 would be the Real real world, going forward to when FNF would take place; Pico and Boyfriend reconnected, through less than ideal means, though reconnected nontheless.

We're back to black lines on white background, but everything's less distorted. There's more details too, the world not just being a hazy backdrop for Pico and Boyfriend to play around in, but real.

He's different from Pico's memories, obviously, drawn now in the FNF style fully. More confident, still stupid. He has Girlfriend now.

The first 2 lines of verse 3, his imagined worlds and the real world melt together. Mixed in ways that highlight a feeling of off-ness. Everything feels strange, distorted, unreal.

The last 2 lines it's just Pico and Boyfriend hanging out alone. "All that's left is me and you/Lots of fun that we can do". Boyfriend cheery as ever, while Pico is visibly nervous-- uncharacteristic for him but we don't see if Boyfriend notices.

The strong beat kicking in again sends us back to the imagined world. The good world. But things are wrong. The real world is slipping in, things are no longer stagnant; no longer perfect. Visual distortions/ glitches worsen.

Pico could delude himself when he hadn't known where Boyfriend was; now that he's back, his world warps. No longer under his control. He is not in the lead.

The first half of the outro Boyfriend is still mostly playing along, though still seems to be growing disinterested. Pico is noticably anxious, clearly seeing how the other is no longer like a puppy at his side. Boyfriend is pulling away. Why is he pulling away, when everything's "perfect"? Why is everything going wrong. "The world I built, designed for you".

The second half of the outro, Boyfriend is now actively pulling away. He no longer looks like the idealized, young Boyfriend. He's older, a stranger, he doesn't care for Pico anymore. Pico is older now too, desperately holding on to Boyfriend. Unwilling to let him go again, first in the real world and now in his mind. Boyfriend refuses to hold his hand but Pico still grips onto his arm. Their eyes finally become visible in the imagined world.

Pico's behavior mirrors Cassandra's involvement in the second verse, though unintentionally violent as opposed to her intentional violence. He's selfish, desperate to hold on to his world; to Boyfriend. He's hurting the imagined Boyfriend in the process, but that is second in his mind to him so desperately trying to avoid a second heartbreak. Anything to keep his world together, his peace. Without it, he just has the dark.

In the final instrumental and as the song fades out, Pico wakes up. He's shaken, disgusted by how he acted in his mind and feeling like he's nothing but an anchor to Boyfriend, holding him back. He can't keep clinging to this false reality, nor can he pretend he's doing any good by being in Boyfriend's life again. His mind is made up.

LOL I hope the way I summarized The Thoughts I get paints the picture I get in my mind. I've got terminal artist brain I am imagining AMVs to near everything I listen to I am not joking; had to take a break halfway through typing this to walk around a store and I was looping KATAMARI by femtanyl for like half of it imagining an edit in my head. I can imagine anything jpeg.

I wanna very much stress that all that above would have been filtered through Pico's mind. He's not actively hurting Boyfriend, but he's fucking terrified of doing so and he feels so fucking guilty for continuing to hold on to the past they had. I guess it wouldn't be apparent from what I described but he'd also feel guilty for still having feelings for him when the other has moved on and even has a girlfriend.

His world, once his perfect escape from the anguish of his reality, corrupts as he feels worse and worse over even entertaining the thoughts. Him deciding to forget his world and, in turn, go to cut off Boyfriend for the other's sake is not based on objective reality, but an act of self-sabotage that he convinces himself to be the best outcome for everybody.

^ Literally included him doing this shit in a part of that last fic I did you can tell this is something I find interesting exploring with him.

The tone of the song too just fucking.. it adds to the eeriness I'd want out of a proper PMV of this idea. The way it's clearly an homage to the IBM 7094 singing Daisy Bell; the voice and instrumentals just feel so unnerving. Sweet and innocent on the surface, but clearly holding bad intentions. Maybe not intentionally bad, maybe misguided good even, but they are not good nor sweet nor kind. I am talking about the song on it's own divorced from it being from KinitoPET what I describe here is just the feelings it gives me in regards to my favies.

Anyways uhhhh god I could go on for hours but I've been going off for long enough I'm sorry to anyone reading this who had to sit through my insanity. My head is now lighter with this information shared tho.. I guess in conclusion: I am definitely normal and neurotypical and can be trusted to listen to music and be into my games without creating the most devastating ideas known to man. xoxo

Today in things I didn't know were a character trait until I tried to write the character breaking it: Mizuki can't be real with someone unless she's alone with them. Easily if it's talking about herself, but also in general. Even when it's about helping Mafuyu, all the heavy lifting is done in her internal monologue, and then it waits for her to be alone with her.
