“You’ve got to be kidding me!”
My second time joining @challengingwords. This is fun and helps me a lot when writing. Thanks so much for coming up with this idea.
Genre: Fluff
Word count 500

“You’ve got to be kidding me!”
Jooheon got off the bed, looking around for his clothes that were scattered around the room. He glared at her as he pulled on his pants which he found on top of the dresser. Fumbling with the button and zipper he turned to her.
“After everything I said to you last night, you still push me away like always?”
Shaking her head, she sat up, grabbing his arm.
               “Listen to me.”
She guided him to sit down beside her. He didn’t want to listen. Not if it meant they weren’t going to see each other again. Not if it meant she was going to break it off for good. He couldn’t see himself without her. Even if it was only once in a long while when they needed it. It was better than nothing.
She could sense the panic in his uneven breath. Turning him to her, she kissed him to get his full attention. His eyes stared into hers, unwavering.
“We need to end this, whatever is going between us.” She explained, “We can’t keep meeting like this Jooheon.”
Jooheon rolled his eyes, turning to go, but she held him back.
“I meant we need to stop fighting and fix up what went wrong so we can continue to love each other.”
Hearing those words were like heaven to him. Jooheon pulled her into his arms.
“Did you even have to ask.” He stroked her head, “You don’t know how long I’ve waited for this moment.”
“But for this to work, you have to be honest with me.”
“And you have to stop being insecure, no matter what anyone tells you, you are perfect the way you are.” He planted a kiss on the top of her head, “Perfect for me.”
“I’m sorry for ever doubting your love for me.”
Tears rolled down her cheeks. She realized that what he said was true. She did listen to others way more than him. More than her own heart. That was her mistake for trusting people too easily.
“From now on I won’t assume anything without hearing your side of the story.”
“And I’ll never lie to you again.” Jooheon replied, pulling her down onto the bed with him.
Unless needed, Jooheon would never lie to her. She curled up to him and buried her face into his chest. Something that she missed doing for so long. She hadn’t done this all those times they met up between their break up. Pulling the blanket over her naked body, Jooheon held her. No dirty thoughts. No more needy make outs or angry sex. Just a normal welcoming snuggle. Because now they settled the argument. Now they have forever together. Or as long as they could love and cherish each other. For once she could shut her eyes in his embrace, not having to wonder if he was going to leave again. And tired from last night, she fell asleep soundly as he hummed her favorite song.

Betrayal
“You’ve got to be kidding me!”
@challengingwords this will be a continuation of Hellhole.
Genre: Angst
Word Count: 500 words

Wonho watched through the glass as Chelle hugged herself, burying her head into her knees. Wonho had just awoken to find himself in a sort of lab. Beside him was Chelle’s body inside of a tube just like his. Banging on the case, he drew the doctor’s attention to him.
Stumbling out as the door of the case flung open. Gasping for air, Wonho took a few seconds to regain balance, making his way to the screen. The one the doctors used to monitor their mind activity. So this was what was happening. It was all just an experiment.
“You got to be kidding me!” Wonho glared at them, “let her out!”
Creating havoc, Wonho slammed his fists into the control board. He jumped back as the pipes hissed, releasing a cool liquid. On the screen he could see an ocean rising, approaching Chelle.
“What’s going on?” Wonho questioned, worry on his face, “Chelle!”
Hesitating, Wonho tried to reach for any button he could get his hand on as he was held back by two workers.
               “You shouldn’t do that.”
The doctor pressed the emergency cancelation, but it was too late. Chelle had already been consumed by the giant wave.
“The last of our subjects.” The doctor sighed, “why would you want to erase her memories, subject 93?”
“I love her, I would never hurt her.” Wonho replied.
“Oh do you now?” doctor questioned, “subject 94 and you are merely strangers going through horrible situations together.
Wonho shook his head in denial. His eyes rose back to the screen.
“I don’t know her.” Wonho surprised himself.
The feelings he had toward her were being cloaked with a lie. Like being coaxed into an alternate reality. No one paid attention to case 94 as they spoke.
Chelle’s eyes fluttered opened, taking in her surroundings. Her gaze landing on Wonho. Her heart cried out to him, but he couldn’t hear. Unfortunately, she could hear them clearly. Tears rolled down her eyes, listening.
               “Let me out!” she called.
The doctor and Wonho both turned to her in surprise.
“I’m baffled she made it through that accident that you caused.” The doctor pressed the release button, “Both of them.”
Chelle glared at them, pretending not to know who Wonho was. Hide the fact that she and him had spent a whole year in that hellhole together. Meeting, falling in love, and dying. As if their love will mean a thing once they woke up from that nightmare, discovering the truth.
He was the cause of her pain and she was his. Those images of him coming toward her, their cars spinning uncontrollably. Her fiancé walking away from the car before it blew up with her crawling to escape. The burns still painful on her side. Two very special and wonderful occasions, turning sinister.
If only Wonho had kept his eyes on the road instead of his beautiful bride. If only Chelle had stopped flirting with her fiancé. Maybe they wouldn’t be in this mess.
