‘’Come a little closer’’
It’s been a while, but I’m back with another @challengingwords prompt! I didn’t plan on not posting for so long but school and my health had a different opinion... anyways, I hope you enjoy this short thingie!
Tumblr media
Pairing: Wooyoung x reader
Genre: fluff, established relationship
Words: 431
Prompts: ‘’Come a little closer’’ from cwc25 + ‘’You’ve got to be kidding me’’ from cwc14
You just loved evenings like this one. Being sprawled on the couch under the biggest and fluffiest blanket you've had, munching on savory and sweet snacks while watching that one movie you've had seen a thousand times and somehow never got tired of it. And, of course, your favorite person, Wooyoung, sitting next to you with an arm over your shoulders.
You put another piece of chocolate into your mouth while staring directly at the screen. It hadn't escaped your notice that your boyfriend had been more focused on you than on the movie for quite some time, but you knew that it was one of his ways to get your attention without actually asking for it; therefore, you played oblivious.
Yet minutes passed, and Wooyoung still hadn't turned his eyes back to the tv, even at the climax of the movie. You started thinking that maybe something was bothering him, and after a short inner-discussion with yourself, you decided to finally stop pretending and find out.
"Hey, you alright?" you asked.
"Yeah," he replied almost immediately, not bothering to look away from your face. "why?"
"You're staring, Woo."
Wooyoung was very forward and confident with his actions, and that's a thing that didn't change depending on his mood. Usually, you would consider this a good trait as you sometimes lacked confidence yourself, but at that moment, it was starting to make you feel confused and flustered.
"It's just," he spoke after a short while of silence. "I think you have something on your face."
Well, that wasn't exactly what you had expected to hear.
You quickly grabbed a wipe from the table (both of you knew that either was going to spill something at some point) and rubbed each part of your face in turn, asking if it was gone every few seconds. You cursed yourself for choosing chocolate over the other, less messy treats.
When your skin began turning red from the friction, Wooyoung took the paper from your hand.
"Come a little closer." you obeyed and leaned in as he took a closer look at the stain, squinting his eyes and visibly trying to fight the smile creeping on his face. "Ah, my bad. It's just your beauty..."
You fell back on the back of the couch with a loud groan, but not loud enough to drown out Wooyoung's resounding laughter.
"You've got to be kidding me!" you smacked his arm. "I missed the end of the movie because of you!"
He grabbed the hurt place with his other hand, but the wide smile never left his face.
"I love you!"

Prompt: “You’ve got to be kidding me!” - @challengingwords
Pairing: JHope x reader
A/N: I forgot it was Friday........it’s been a long week 😅 I might not post a story for a little while. I’m currently sitting down and actually putting my head into this collab I’m taking part in. It’ll be my first collab EVER with writers I truly admire. I think I now understand how Spiderman felt like when asked to join The Avengers......though maybe I’m panicking a little more than he did. This project will also my first really extensive piece that I’ll be sharing with you...hence why it will take all my brain power (hahaha). No date has been set in stone just yet, but I do want to get it on to paper while it’s still strongly yelling at me.
In regards to this story right here...if you wanted to know what helped inspire this ---> HERE. Continue to stay safe and healthy. Enjoy!!! <3
------------
You were drenched in sweat after going through this dance routine with your assigned partner so many times you lost count. It wasn’t your partner’s fault either. You found yourself a beat behind him every single time at the exact same part in the choreography and you were beyond frustrated.
“What is wrong with me?” you asked yourself when you missed the step once more. Your partner turned off the music. You frustratedly pulled at your pigtails.
“You’re thinking too much,” your partner replied.
You agreed. “Can we do it one more time? Promise! Last time...for today.”
Your partner nodded and went to his starting position. At the same time, Hoseok came by as he usually did so you guys could go home together. You and Hoseok became fast friends after discovering you lived in the same building in addition to also majoring in dance at the university you both attended.
You looked at him apologetically. “Sorry! I’m making practice run a little longer than normal.”
“It’s OK. I’ll wait for you,” Hoseok offered as he put down his own bag and took a seat on the floor. You smiled at him before turning to your own starting position. Your partner started up the music and you did one more run through of the choreography. Everything was going good. Hoseok was watching intently as your dance partner wrapped his arms around your waist, grabbed your hands and touched your face throughout the routine.
“You’ve got to be kidding me!” you exclaimed as you predictably missed your step yet again. You powered through the rest of the song after that just so you managed at least one complete run through of the song.
You transitioned into your final pose and made a frustrated face at your partner making him laugh. “Let’s go ahead and call it a day,” you suggested with a tired smile.
Your partner nodded and went off to pack his bag up while you walked over to Hoseok who was holding out an open water bottle for you. You waved goodbye to your partner as he headed out the studio door. Hoseok reached into your bag and took out your towel to wipe down with.
“I don’t know what’s wrong with me,” you vented to him.
“Are you sure it’s just you?” Hoseok asked.
“You saw how I missed that beat.”
“Y/N,” Hoseok said and you know a lecture was going to follow, “you know as well as I do that you have to read your partner’s body as much as remembering the steps and listening to the music.”
You sighed because you did in fact know this. “You would think after all the practices we’ve done I would’ve been able to read him by now.”
“It shouldn’t just be on you though,” he advised, “but seeing as he won’t adjust, you’re going to have to.”
You let out another sigh.
“Wanna go through it with me?” Hoseok offered.
“You picked up the moves by watching it that one time?” You raised an eyebrow doubtfully.
“I think I can keep up,” he replied with a big smile on his face. He got up and offered a hand to assist you to your feet. He went over and replicated your dance partner’s starting position. You went to yours and started the music.
You were quite impressed. You had memorized this routine in a few days while Hoseok memorized it after seeing it just once. You came to the part where you always messed up and remarkably stayed in sync with Hoseok. A huge smile spread across your face as you looked at Hoseok who returned it.
“Do you trust me?” Hoseok asked as you continued the routine. You nodded. “Follow my lead,” he instructed.
You did so. Hoseok’s movements flowed with yours effortlessly as you freestyled the rest of the song. Hoseok spontaneously lifted you up in time with the music and you instinctively wrapped your legs around his waist as your arms went around his neck. You were nose to nose as he supported you. You felt the blush rise to your cheeks and immediately released your legs and grounded yourself. You attempted to walk away so he couldn’t see your tinted cheeks, but he was quick to grab you by the hand and spin you so that you were in his arms, facing him once again. He placed your arms back around his neck as he swayed with you to the music and positioned his arms around your waist.
“Make sure practice doesn’t run long tomorrow,” Hoseok said to break the silence between you as the music continued to play in the background. You looked up at him with a look of curiosity on your face. “Let’s have dinner together.”
“Don’t we always?” you asked, “Ramen and gimbap at the convenience store every night.”
Hoseok's radiant smile appeared on his face yet again and shook his head. “Real dinner. Like a date dinner.”
You smiled in return as you pressed your body closer. He quirked an eyebrow in response. “I hope you read that correctly. But in case you didn't...I’d like that.”

“You’ve got to be kidding me!”
My second time joining @challengingwords. This is fun and helps me a lot when writing. Thanks so much for coming up with this idea.
Genre: Fluff
Word count 500
Tumblr media
“You’ve got to be kidding me!”
Jooheon got off the bed, looking around for his clothes that were scattered around the room. He glared at her as he pulled on his pants which he found on top of the dresser. Fumbling with the button and zipper he turned to her.
“After everything I said to you last night, you still push me away like always?”
Shaking her head, she sat up, grabbing his arm.
               “Listen to me.”
She guided him to sit down beside her. He didn’t want to listen. Not if it meant they weren’t going to see each other again. Not if it meant she was going to break it off for good. He couldn’t see himself without her. Even if it was only once in a long while when they needed it. It was better than nothing.
She could sense the panic in his uneven breath. Turning him to her, she kissed him to get his full attention. His eyes stared into hers, unwavering.
“We need to end this, whatever is going between us.” She explained, “We can’t keep meeting like this Jooheon.”
Jooheon rolled his eyes, turning to go, but she held him back.
“I meant we need to stop fighting and fix up what went wrong so we can continue to love each other.”
Hearing those words were like heaven to him. Jooheon pulled her into his arms.
“Did you even have to ask.” He stroked her head, “You don’t know how long I’ve waited for this moment.”
“But for this to work, you have to be honest with me.”
“And you have to stop being insecure, no matter what anyone tells you, you are perfect the way you are.” He planted a kiss on the top of her head, “Perfect for me.”
“I’m sorry for ever doubting your love for me.”
Tears rolled down her cheeks. She realized that what he said was true. She did listen to others way more than him. More than her own heart. That was her mistake for trusting people too easily.
“From now on I won’t assume anything without hearing your side of the story.”
“And I’ll never lie to you again.” Jooheon replied, pulling her down onto the bed with him.
Unless needed, Jooheon would never lie to her. She curled up to him and buried her face into his chest. Something that she missed doing for so long. She hadn’t done this all those times they met up between their break up. Pulling the blanket over her naked body, Jooheon held her. No dirty thoughts. No more needy make outs or angry sex. Just a normal welcoming snuggle. Because now they settled the argument. Now they have forever together. Or as long as they could love and cherish each other. For once she could shut her eyes in his embrace, not having to wonder if he was going to leave again. And tired from last night, she fell asleep soundly as he hummed her favorite song.

Betrayal
“You’ve got to be kidding me!”
@challengingwords this will be a continuation of Hellhole.
Genre: Angst
Word Count: 500 words
Tumblr media
Wonho watched through the glass as Chelle hugged herself, burying her head into her knees. Wonho had just awoken to find himself in a sort of lab. Beside him was Chelle’s body inside of a tube just like his. Banging on the case, he drew the doctor’s attention to him.
Stumbling out as the door of the case flung open. Gasping for air, Wonho took a few seconds to regain balance, making his way to the screen. The one the doctors used to monitor their mind activity. So this was what was happening. It was all just an experiment.
“You got to be kidding me!” Wonho glared at them, “let her out!”
Creating havoc, Wonho slammed his fists into the control board. He jumped back as the pipes hissed, releasing a cool liquid. On the screen he could see an ocean rising, approaching Chelle.
“What’s going on?” Wonho questioned, worry on his face, “Chelle!”
Hesitating, Wonho tried to reach for any button he could get his hand on as he was held back by two workers.
               “You shouldn’t do that.”
The doctor pressed the emergency cancelation, but it was too late. Chelle had already been consumed by the giant wave.
“The last of our subjects.” The doctor sighed, “why would you want to erase her memories, subject 93?”
“I love her, I would never hurt her.” Wonho replied.
“Oh do you now?” doctor questioned, “subject 94 and you are merely strangers going through horrible situations together.
Wonho shook his head in denial. His eyes rose back to the screen.
“I don’t know her.” Wonho surprised himself.
The feelings he had toward her were being cloaked with a lie. Like being coaxed into an alternate reality. No one paid attention to case 94 as they spoke.
Chelle’s eyes fluttered opened, taking in her surroundings. Her gaze landing on Wonho. Her heart cried out to him, but he couldn’t hear. Unfortunately, she could hear them clearly. Tears rolled down her eyes, listening.
               “Let me out!” she called.
The doctor and Wonho both turned to her in surprise.
“I’m baffled she made it through that accident that you caused.” The doctor pressed the release button, “Both of them.”
Chelle glared at them, pretending not to know who Wonho was. Hide the fact that she and him had spent a whole year in that hellhole together. Meeting, falling in love, and dying. As if their love will mean a thing once they woke up from that nightmare, discovering the truth.
He was the cause of her pain and she was his. Those images of him coming toward her, their cars spinning uncontrollably. Her fiancé walking away from the car before it blew up with her crawling to escape. The burns still painful on her side. Two very special and wonderful occasions, turning sinister.
If only Wonho had kept his eyes on the road instead of his beautiful bride. If only Chelle had stopped flirting with her fiancé. Maybe they wouldn’t be in this mess.

Four titles in the same year for the first time in Real Madrid's history. [ Copa Del Rey | La Décima | UEFA Super Cup | Club World Cup ] Carlo Ancelotti: I take away with me the memory of the whole year. The key was the first final that we played and won against Barcelona in the Copa del Rey. That gave us a lot of confidence. If we repeat this year it'd be really great. We have the chance to compete in all competitions. We have ended the year on a high and we have to feel confidence and optimism ahead of the year to come.
