my biggest issue with the packer situation is that it literally doesn't matter. it's become such an issue in the furry/nonhuman community and it DOES NOT MATTER. i typically hate the argument of "others have it worse" because you can be upset at multiple things at the same time, but this? it's literally such a nonissue. cyrus is getting his school and city doxxed because of this and it is NOT THAT SERIOUS. people are spreading misinfo that he's a grown man selling s3x toys to minors, that he's a zoophile, that barks a predator, and he's literally just a guy. he's 17 years old. not to mention he wasn't even selling the customizable packers to anyone under 18, which is the whole problem in the first place. this is just such a nonissue. we're about to have a convicted felon and sexual predator as a president, there's an ethnic genocide in gaza, trans people are being systemically illegalized in the US, and we're worried about a guy making furred packers online? seriously? we have MUCH bigger things to worry about than this guys, come in. what about the actual zoos in this community?? or the predators that prey on young alterhumans? focus on the people that are actually dangerous rather than something so minor and unimportant

With the major increase in young children joining the alterhuman community there’s been a major repression in any and all NSFW topics, as well as the immediate shutting down of anything that can be mildly construed as NSFW in the slightest. Like the therian packer “situation” (shoutout to CyrusBarks) so many people (specifically 13 year olds on TikTok) were kicking up such a fuss about it. I’ve had to explain SO MANY TIMES how wanting to have/be something ≠ attraction to that thing. And it’s just really disappointing to me because as an identity, alterhumanity bleeds into every aspect of a person’s life, INCLUDING their sex life, and it’s a shame that we’re just not allowed to talk about that for fear of being painted as a “zoophile”

I'm so tired of the animal packer debate. If you recall, some months ago @/cyrusbarks on tiktok (now @/cyrus.urocyon) started making what people callled "therian packers". I wasn't on Tumblr at that point so I haven't seen first hand what people think about them here, I've been told that most were chill about it.

The idea behind the "therian packers" were to fix the creator's 2 dysphorias, species and gender. People started getting weirded out when he said he could sell one with a knot and so tiktok went crazy. Zo0philic was mostly what was being thrown arround as a way to describe it by others. (I heavily disagree but whatever, this is not what this post is about)

I don't care where you stand on this debate, but we owe him an apology. Weeks later because of the drama tiktok stared showing more unusual packers that people sold. You guessed it, most were resembling a non-human member and you also guessed it, most people were saying how cool it was.

So when a company does it its cool, when he did it, it was disgusting.

I sometimes hate the comunity so hard.

transmasc canine therian here - i learnt about the cyrusbarks/animal packer stuff pretty much as the drama was actively ensuing. ENTIRELY overblown and needless btw, packers are not sexual and to call it anything remotely close to zoophilia would mean sexualising human packers which is a slippery slope to being kinda transphobic imo

anyway, i didn’t think i would ever want an animal packer at the time, but annoyingly now that they’ve been chased off tiktok and etsy i kinda want one and can’t find anyone brave enough to sell them in the wake of the whole doxxing thing -w- any suggestions?

So let me rip off the Band-Aid and say that I am a of course transspecies, I am also transgender, the thing about me is that I have genital dysphoria (both species and gender dysphoria), so naturally I was inspired by @cyrusbarks (which don't come at him, I know assholes on the internet love to dox innocent animals for no reason) to make my first packer, of course I'm well aware of the controversy surrounding species-affirming Packers because for some reason people think it's a zoo thing (also people for some reason think that Packers are an only NSFW thing which just fully makes me believe that you people are just transphobic) even though let's be honest here it's not, so with any further ado let me share with you my species affirming Packers that I have made...

The first picture is my new packer next to the old one that I made, it is very clear to say that the old one got a lot of love before I decided to make the new one.

I have created the new one to be able to replicate the realistic look of a real genitalia (foreskin and all), it also has a detachable core very similar to the official weredog packers/shafts (which I was going for since I can't afford the real thing right now since I'm in my broke ass Arc lol), I am conflicted if I want to paint the core to look a little bit more realistic in color or just leave it at that,

I know it's quite a puzzling sight for anyone who is not used to feeling dysphoric the way that I do, like I said it's not harming anyone and there's no way associated with zoophila, please again respect me in a way that you would respect yourself and not go and dox me or harass me, I am a individual, not a dangerous monster.

I wish more carnivorous/omnivorous alterhumans & nonhumans talked about the more generalized aspect of meat cravings. I feel like most usually talk about craving very “rigidly-defined” meats if you will (think like a Sirloin or a fillet of salmon), which I do understand as it’s common and far less intimidating to discuss (and also, hell! food is food!), but I feel like theres so much more possibility of these meat discussions. What about craving the sustenance of the blubber of marine life, or the blood and marrow in animal shanks? What about entrails? I do see the spectrum of this conversation either go from very palatable (think, again, grocery store sirloins), to the very end of the scale in terms of widely-accepted palatability (think roadkill) - but what about just the neutral parts of it that may be more uncommon, but are still nonetheless there? Idk idk

I just wanna say some kind words and how brave you are to post this service of giving nonhuman gear thats nearly non existent. Nonhumans barely have anything to relieve dysphoria and while im a female sea creature ive talked about wanting top surgery for that reason. Its crazy that people dont see the correlation. It truly is amusing that humans and therians that are against you turn around and never bat an eye at monster gear. I always pull up the analogy that therians are basically like magical talking feral animals. Therians are not inherently into non talking feral animals that don't understand humans. Wanting a transspecies partner doesn't mean you are into nontalking animals. Wanting to be seen as an animal during intimacy with your partner isn't wrong. Your human partner seeing you truly as a talking animal isn't wrong, because you have equal power bc what makes something abuse is power dynamics. so really if yall really care about being abuse police then please learn about power dynamics in relationships, and know that anatomy isn't the problem here.
