You pulled Peter off the elevator when it finally reached the top. You felt bad that he was being forced into this now. “We’re gonna take our bags back to my room and get ready,” You started to your dad as you crossed over to the living room. “Just call-” You didn’t get the sentence out as you were scooped up from behind into a hug.
Peter jumped, unsure of what to do, he hadn’t even heard anyone come up behind the two of you. He must have been too lost in thought thinking about how he was going to get through this party without you.
“How’s my favorite girl doing?” The person hugging you asked.
Your confusion quickly dissipated into a large smile. “Steve! I missed you,” You said, as he set you down, that didn’t stop you from turning around and hugging him yourself.
“I missed you too,” He said, smiling, until he finally acknowledged the young man standing beside you. He was skeptical to say the least. Of course you never really told him good things Jason had done, you only ever complained to him about him when you were upset about something. You defended Jason, just not ever enough for Steve to let go of anything you’d told him.
Little did Peter know about that though, so when the smile hardened into something else his amazement at the man in front of him turned to fear.
“Steve, this is Jason,” you introduced, putting a hand on Peter’s shoulder. You could tell by the look on both their faces this probably wasn’t going to end well. You’d have to remember to talk to Steve later.
“Pleasure,” Steve said, holding his hand out for Peter to shake.
“It’s nice to meet you,” Peter answered shaking his hand, wishing he didn’t have to. Steve wasn’t trying to break his hand, he knew, but he really didn’t hold back his grip either. So, Peter did his best to show him he wasn’t a wimpy jerk. He didn’t need anyone to tell him that Steve didn’t trust him, he could tell just by the look in his eyes. He honestly respected that.
You found yourself gravitating back to Peter’s side. “We’re gonna go get settled, call us when it’s time to go,” You retook Peter’s hand and tugged him along to grab your bags.
“Way to scare the kid,” You heard your dad say to Steve.
“Is there a reason the Captain America just tried to break my hand?” Peter asked, once you were finally out of earshot.
You chuckled at Peter’s use of Steve’s nickname, but when you thought over your answer you sighed. “He just doesn’t like Jason,” You admitted, hoping that would be the end of it.
“I thought you said no one knew him,” Peter countered, thinking that if Steve did know him, he might not fall for this and say something to your dad.
“He doesn’t,” You answered, entering your room.
Peter paused, amazed by how large your room was, he was pretty sure he could fit two of his and Aunt May’s apartment in there. He had the passing thought of how much of a downgrade your school apartment must be to you. But he held off any of those comments in favor of continuing this conversation. “So, if he doesn’t know him then how come he looked like he wanted to rip my head off?”
You dropped your bag on the floor in front of your bed before flopping down onto it. “Look, I’ll admit, I wasn’t always happy with Jason… and sometimes I may have not always not gone to complain to someone… and that someone may or may not have always been Steve…”
Peter sighed, no wonder. “That would have been nice to know beforehand.”
“I’m sorry,” You sighed, rubbing your forehead, trying to think of the best solution. “I’m going to go talk to him, I just need to wait until someone else gets here to distract my dad. If I pull Steve aside and tell my dad to bug off he’s going to know something is going on so I have to time it right.”
“What are you going to tell him?” He asked, finally setting his bag down next to yours.
You sat up and looked at him. “I’m going to tell him the truth.”
Peter rubbed the back of his neck. “I-Is that really a good idea? What if he tells your dad? Or, since he hates this guy already, what if he tries to go after him or something?”
You chuckled. “He wouldn’t because if he even thinks about it I’ll tell him not to.”
Peter nodded. “So, what now?”
You shrugged. “F.R.I.D.A.Y. let me know when more people get here, please!” You called.
“Yes, Miss Stark,” The ai answered.
You moved up to the top of your bed. “Well, I’m going to take a quick nap, you’re more than welcome to join me or wander around or watch tv… but we should probably get used to being in a bed with each other since we’ll be sharing one all weekend.”
Peter blushed lightly and rubbed the back of his neck. He’d just about forgotten about that little hiccup. But, he figured you were right, if he got the awkward first step out of the way, at least he wouldn’t have to do it later on when the two of you were actually trying to go to bed. He thought about offering to take the floor, but he already knew you weren’t going to let that happen since your mind was already made up. So, he settled into place beside you.

Hand To Hand Combat
Dad!Tony
Word Count: 467
Request by anon: Could you please write about: Tony being really mad that Captain America beat him in hand to hand combat (end of civil war) and complaining to his kid. And the kid suggesting tony train with Natasha because he forces them to train even though the kid has an iron suit. Then The three of them are training and tony is constantly complaining. You can take it however, I’m more suggesting the concept
A/N: Sooo… kept Nat out of it because I feel like even if Infinity War didn’t happen that Nat still wouldn’t have been around Tony after Civil War. So, here’s my version of your request I’m sorry I took liberties. If you’re bothered send me a message and I can do a rewrite! Also, sorry it’s so short, I’m not great at logistics for fighting lol.

You had had it up to high heavens with your father. It’d been a month since the fallout and he was still complaining about having lost to Steve and Bucky.
So finally, you decided you needed to do something about it.
You threw a pair of workout gloves down on his work bench, “Let’s go.”
He looked down at them, then up to you. “Go where?”
“After having to listen to another rant this morning about your loss to Steve and Bucky. I’ve decided that you need more training.”
Tony scoffed. “It was two against one. What I needed was a fully functional suit.”
“I’ve seen the footage from F.R.I.D.A.Y. Let’s go,” you started out of the lab.
Tony decided to indulge you and followed behind.
The two of you stood in the middle of the gym. You were in a stance, ready to fight, your dad was not.
“I don’t see why we need to do this.”
“Because I'm sick of hearing how it wasn’t your fault. You had me trained by the best. Now, it’s my turn to show you a thing or two.”
“The whole reason I made you a suit was so that you’d never have to use hand to hand like this, Y/N.” Tony argued. “Besides-”
You lunged for your father, grabbing his arm and quickly twisting. You hoisted him over your back, making him land on the mat with a surprised thud.
He groaned, “What was that for?” He sat up slowly, rolling his shoulder hoping you hadn’t dislocated it.
“I’m so sick and tired of you bitching, dad! Steve literally almost killed you! And all because you couldn’t defend yourself well enough without the suit! If it wasn’t for the fact that Steve wasn’t as awful of a guy as you’re playing him to be, HE WOULD HAVE!” Tears of frustration streamed down your cheeks. You hadn’t said any of this to your father before. You didn’t show him that you were more afraid of losing him to one of his now ex-teammates than you were of him dealing with most of the other things he deals with on the daily.
Tony frowned looking up at you. He hadn’t realized what he’d been doing to you. He stood and wrapped you up in his arms. “I’m sorry, sunshine. You can help me train better, and I won’t complain about a thing.”
You sniffled into his shoulder. “Sometimes I think you forget that I don’t want to lose you, as much as you don’t want to lose me…”
He placed a kiss to the top of your head. “You’re right, I do. I’ll work on that too. Now, how about you show me some new moves?”
“Sounds good, dad,” You said, pulling away from him.
