Naoki Godai x Daimaru’s Sister

a/n: Hello! I’ve finished watching Nanba mg5 a few days ago and fell in love with with this series. It was amazing and I LOVED GODAI AND DAIMARU SO MUCH 😭😭 And i couldn’t find any fics for them 😔 Sooo I’ve written one for them. If there’s anyone who wants to read Naoki Godai fics, here you are 💕🌸

When Godai looked at the girl eating hurriedly in front of him, he was thinking about when the strange feelings he felt in the left side of his chest started. When did being around a girl start to make him so nervous?

No matter how hard he thought, the answer was the same. Nothing was ever the same for Godai the day Daimaru introduced his little sister to them.

He's always been good with girls, right? He couldn't have fallen in love with his friend's sister. He shouldn't even consider this possibility.

His own thoughts were so loud that he didn't notice his friend calling out to him for a while. Daimaru looked at his friend in surprise for a while. Y/n, on the other hand, looked up from the bowl she was eating and waved her hand in front of the young boy's face, whose eyes had been staring at the same spot for a few minutes.

“Godai-san? Are you okay ?"

Godai didn't hear Daimaru, but he could distinguish the young girl's voice even through all the noise. When he shook his head and looked at the young girl, he noticed that they were both looking at him in surprise.

“I was distracted, it's okay. What were you saying?

Daimaru continued speaking with a grin.

“We will go to the festival with y/n tonight. Do you want to join us ?"

Godai didn't know what to say when he felt the young girl turn to him with excited looks. Y/n excitedly placed her chopsticks on the table.

“Godai-san, today is my birthday. We will watch the fireworks at night. Please join us.”

How could he say no to someone looking at him like that? Godai nodded silently and watched the smile on the young girl's face.

Remembering the day Daimaru first introduced her, he thought she would be a pain in the ass. He wasn't sure he could handle a second Daimaru. But he was surprised to see that the young girl was quite calm and intelligent. She was very attached to Daimaru and saw him as her role model. But she was also a mature girl who stayed away from trouble.

Besides, how could he forget the punch she threw at him the first time they met - she thought he was her brother's enemy - ?

The young boy couldn't remember a time when he thought so much about what to wear. Or walking with sweet excitement after parking his motorcycle...

He knew that what he feared was real. He had fallen in love with his friend's sister. But he didn't want to think about it tonight.

After turning the corner, he saw the young girl standing under the street lamp. Her back was turned, but it wasn't hard to recognize her. He walked towards the girl with quick steps and gently touched the young girl's shoulder.

Y/n flinched in fear and turned to the young boy.

“Hey calm down it’s me - What happened?”

The young boy was surprised when he saw the girl's face. Her eyes were filled with tears and she was about to cry. Godai asked again as Y/n wiped her eyes and shook her head.

“Y/n-chan, why are you crying? Where is your brother anyway? Did something happen ?"

Godai was afraid that something bad would happen. He was worried about Daimaru. Y/n sniffled and said:

“Nii-chan... He received a phone call, he told me that he had to go urgently, told me to go home and left. He needed to help a friend.”

Godai realized that Daimaru had gone to another fight. He wasn't surprised by this. But it was very important for y/n to celebrate her birthday with her brother, he could understand how upset the young girl was.

"I am sorry. And you came in vain."

Godai shook his head quickly and was afraid to ask the idea that came to his mind.

“Y/n-chan… let's go together. Let's celebrate your birthday together, okay?”

Godai smiled as Y/n looked at him with red eyes. The young girl took the hand the young boy offered her and nodded.

The festival area was crowded. That's why Godai didn't leave the young girl's side even for a second. The young girl was quite unhappy at first, but the festival area was so colorful and lively that she started to smile.

Hoping that Daimaru was okay, the young boy began to spend the evening with the young girl.

They were trying snacks from the stands together. He knew how much the young girl loved sweets. Godai wasn't complaining about this either

After a while, they came to the places where games with gifts were played. When he saw the young girl looking excitedly at the teddy bear, which was the prize of the shooting game, Godai gently grabbed her arm and pulled her to that side.

"Do you want that?"

Godai smiled when Y/n looked confused.

“Then I will win for you.”

Godai was determined. He failed in his first two attempts. Y/n was thinking about how handsome he was when he was focused. And him doing this for her… No matter how cold he seemed, he was a good person.

“Godai-san, I know you can do it. You are the best!"

Godai smiled when he heard the young girl's voice. He gripped the ball tightly, threw it and hit the final target. He was stunned for a moment when he won, but when he heard the young girl shouting with joy, he turned to her and smiled.

He just wanted to be the best for her...

They even went into the photo booth together. Godai didn't expect this. But he couldn't say no when y/n grabbed his arm and pulled him there. When the young girl saw him looking at the screen confused, she poked his cheek with her hand and made him smile, and the photo was taken at that moment.

Y/n was having a unique birthday. Maybe she wouldn't have had as much fun with her brother. Of course she wanted him with her, but she was happy now.

When the fireworks started, y/n looked at the sky with excitement. She loved them very much since she was little. They were colorful and shining.

Godai watched the smile on the young girl's face for a while. He wasn't even aware that he was smiling unintentionally. He realized that when a light wind blew, the air actually cooled. When he took off his jacket and placed it on the young girl's shoulders, y/n turned to him in surprise. Godai smiled and patted his back.

They watched the fireworks for a while. Y/n turned to the young boy, thinking he would be cold too.

“Thank you Godai-san. For everything. I thought I would be alone today as usual, but you made me so happy.”

Godai didn't know what to say so y/n continued

“I rarely see my mother and father. My brother... he doesn't even realize that I'm worried about him. I just wanted to spend the day together but-“

Godai patted the young girl's shoulder

“You are the most precious thing in Daimaru's life, you know that right?”

Y/n nodded slowly.

“I understand you though, I'm sorry. I will beat that idiot when he comes back.”

Godai smiled too when Y/n giggled

“Happy birthday y/n.”

Y/n looked at Godai with a smile

"Thank you." She hugged the bear in her hand. “For everything."

Godai smiled and shook his head

“Let's go home now. Your brother will also return soon.”

Y/n nodded and together they walked towards the young boy's bike. When they got there, y/n got a little nervous and Godai looked at her.

“Are you afraid of bikes?”

Y/n nodded “I've never ridden before.”

Godai handed her his own helmet.

“I'll drive slowly, okay?”

Y/n nodded and looked at the helmet.

“That's yours.” She looked around again and picked up the helmet on another bike. Godai laughed and shook his head “You are indeed his sister. I'll bring back that, let's go."

Y/n smiled and sat behind the young boy.

“Hold on to me tight, don't be afraid, okay?”

He couldn't remember if the young boy had ever been this soft towards someone before. But y/n was his soft spot.

When he felt hands hugging his waist,he didn't want to stop the butterflies flying in his stomach. He loved them. He smiled and started the engine.

“Happy birthday y/n.”

He knew she couldn't hear him whisper. But he wanted to say this every minute...
