I was just thinking about how Zayn is noticibly hairy, if you see his chest and stomach he has a lot of body hair. But for the longest time, especially in his early to mid 20s , he was practically hairLESS. This confirms for me that zayn was actively getting his chest and stomach waxed for years. What a queen what a diva!!!

Wow! You guys really appreciated my first post about Logan's backstory/lore and I'm grateful for all of your feedback!! Here's the link to part 1 if you're interested :)

I'm so happy to see all the love he's getting, its actually surreal to be a part of this fandom again and seeing all the new Wolverine content! The fanart and fanfics are literally my life-source rn. You don't even wanna know what my tiktok saved folder looks like....

You guys asked for more so here is part 2! It's not as organized as the first part, apologies. I'm using both the movies and comics here. Some stuff isn't confirmed but generally accepted in the mcu.

Wolverine first appeared in The Incredible Hulk #180. He was supposed to be a mutated human/animal but the idea was later scrapped.

He was approx. 197 years old when he died in the movie 'Logan'

There's multiple different deaths in the comics but I wont get into that.

Logan is 5'3"- 5'5" (short king)

He has black hair and blue eyes

Before the adamantium, he weighed 196lbs (88kg). After the binding he was 300lbs (136kg)

His body is poisoned by the adamantium metal as it breaks down over time. Requiring him to be in a constant state of regeneration, which begins to slow down as he ages.

Without the metal he probably could have lived a lot longer.

Logan has a fear of water, or rather, drowning. It’s one of the only times can’t regenerate. It would cause his death.

The Weapon X program is also responsible for this fear since he was submerged under water for a long period of time for the binding.

The metal in his body also makes him so heavy it would be very difficult for him to swim.

In the comics Logan temporarily loses his healing factor due to a virus created by Dr. Abraham Cornelius. (Weapon X scientist) This event leaves him vulnerable for the first time in his life, forcing him to confront the reality of his mortality.

His healing ability greatly affects his mental state. Logan can quickly recover from physical damage, but he still feels all the pain. His ability to cope and endure despite the overwhelming suffering is central to his character.

Logan has an acute sense of smell. He can track people and objects across a great distance. It’s so precise that he can identify people’s emotional states such as fear or anger. Even when someone is lying.

Logan was sensitive, shy, and timid as a child.

The first person he ever killed was his biological father.

After killing his father he ran away from home with his friend Rose. (a hired companion to help care for him when he was young). Unfortunately, Logan accidently killed her during a fight.

Logan speaks several languages, due to his extensive life and travels. He speaks English, Japanese, Russian, Spanish, Chinese, Cheyenne and Lakota.

He’s actually an incredibly smart guy, don’t let him fool you.

Despite his love for alcohol, Logan’s healing factor makes it nearly impossible for him to get drunk.

Logan brews his own beer in the Origins comics. (we love a domestic husband)

On Logan’s birthday every year, Sabretooth seeks him out just to beat him up as a twisted "gift." Sabretooth calls this tradition "birthday beatings."

Spider-Man and Wolverine have teamed up a few times in the comics and they are a hilarious pair.

Logan's "berserker rage" is not just a result of his animalistic mutant powers. But stems from his deep psychological trauma. This side of him only emerges when he is pushed into extreme emotional or physical stress.

At one point before he escaped the Weapon X experiment, he was hired to kill Charles Xavier.

Logan's wife Itsu and son Daken were allegedly killed by the Winter Soldier, however it was later revealed that his son actually lived and had been consumed by hatred for his father. Logan was forced to kill his own son before he could cause more harm.

This act is one of, if not the most painful moment in Logan’s life, as it represents his ultimate failure as a father.

Logan blames himself for Jean Grey’s death.

He lived a majority of his life without his memories. Having no idea who he actually is.

Despite his involvement with the X-Men and his many close relationships he often feels like an outsider. Like he doesn’t belong anywhere. He isolates himself because loneliness is a familiar feeling.

Logan prefers the solitude and sanctity of nature. He loves the outdoors and has a lot of respect for the natural world. Often retreating into the wild for his own peace.

In one comic he baby sits Luke Cage and Jessica Jones daughter. Danielle Cage.

He can be quite playful at times with the younger mutants. For example, building a snowman with Jubilee.

Logan dreams of a normal life. He dreams of having a family with a wife and children and leaving the violence behind.

Daken (a racist moniker), is a Biracial (White father, Japanese mother) bisexual mutant, son of James Logan Howlett & gifted w/ a similar power set (ie rapid regeneration & bone claws + extra pheromone powers); left an orphan when his mother was killed (and his father left), he grew up angry & vengeful, with a long history of violence, crime & villainy (ie joining the Dark Avengers; and later, ties to infernal forces); though, in time, he reconciled w/ Wolverine & found new purpose fighting evil, aiding heroes like the X-Men, X-Factor & Marauders!

Akihiro chuckled a little, looking down. Looking back up to his father's rough mug. As Akihiro listened to Logan taking account of his feelings, Akihiro's smugness subsided, shifting into concern for dad. Hearing how Wade makes Logan feel made Akihiro feel a little warm in a sad happiness, happy that his father was feeling less alone. Akihiro patted Logan's shoulder. "I'm glad that Wade makes you feel less alone, dad. You are far from anomaly though. Just look at how many kids ya have, plus Wade. Then there's Romulus and Remus. Lady Deathstrike. You are one in a kind, rough and gruff, loyal down to the adamantine bone, badass father, but you are definitely not an anomaly or alone." Getting a little passionate in his attempt to help his father. His normal charismatic way of talking and ability to charm and sway the crowd has seemed to have left him. Akihiro had a thought and chuckled, shaking his head. "Especially not with Wade around you won't feel alone." He said with another chuckle with looking directly his father, Logan Howlett.

"Your sex-toy came to see me today." Flopping down next to his father, talking plainly, with much emotion, but his words seemed almost sharp. "He's.....uh...." Akihiro sighed and closed his eyes, taking a deep breath in through his nose and out through his mouth. Was wanted to be supportive of Logan and who ever it is that his father loved, even if they were, really annoying. "He seems.... Interesting." His words escaped him. Akihiro really wanted to be supportive. Really he did. Interesting was the only neutral word that he could muster to not be offensive. "Does Wade really make you happy, ......dad?" Akihiro tried to make sure his words were without emotion, as to show that his intention was only to ask his question out of concern for his father's well-being. // @autumnmongrel.

The  exclamation  came  out  before  he  could  STOP  from  being  practically  shouted  at  his  son.  Only  when  he  finally  registered  just  who  the  hell  Akihiro  was  talking  about ... Only  for  a  tired  sigh , laced  with  an  achy  groan  to  leave  the  Wolverine's  lips , as  a  hand  moved  to  catch  his  brow.  Pinching  the  bridge  of  his  nose.

Of  all  the  ways  to  get  the  ' are  you  happy  talk ' ... this  was  certainly  NOT  the  way  he  thought  it  was  going  to  go.  Once  he  was  able  to  get  the  choice  words  his  son  used  to  describe  Wade  out  of  his  head  for  the  moment , he  shook  his  head.

" He's ... Just  don't  call  him  that. "    That  wasn't  an  answer  to  his  question.  He  knew  that.  Inhaling  DEEPLY , he  attempted  to  try  again.    " Honestly ... I  don't  think  I  know  enough  uh  what  that  means  t'know  for  sure. "    He  said , referring  to  the  question  on  if  Wade  made  him  HAPPY.    " He  makes  me  feel  less  alone.  I  feel  less  like  an  anomally  when  I'm  with  him. "    He  shrugged  his  shoulders.    " Sad  as  that  is. "

Ahh man Gambit is definitely one of my all-time favorite characters in Marvel for sure. I don't even know where to begin! These are just some of my personal headcanons I have with him that I want to explore more in writing for sure! So, let's see...

-Gambit is an estranged son of the Summers family. LOVE this fan theory!

-Gambit is an Omega level mutant. There's a character named Newsun in the comics thats actually an alternate version of Gambit. Basically, Newsun grew so strong in HIS world that he destroyed it because his power became too overwhelming. It's been a while since I read up on that plotline, but from what I can remember Gambit enlists the help of Mister Sinister to remove a piece of brain matter/tissue so his powers can become more controlled and gives himself a handicap so he never has to become as destructive as Newsun. (I believe Gambit and Newsun battle and Gambit loses more of his powers from that climatic scene)

^^ this plot dynamic always stuck out to me as a reader because there has been many times in the comics where Gambits power have been very versatile and have explosive strength, even how he can manipulate energy--- it can go in SO many directions depending on the writer and editorial team. But I always had a lingering feeling that Gambit could be PUSHED and was like holding back on his powers. And after I read up on Newsun and Mister Sinister's involvement with Gambit, it started to make sense why he's "handicapped" on the power scale and can't achieve his full potential.

-I feel that w/o mister Sinister's involvement with his mutant powers, Gambit WOULD be an Omega level mutant. And also grow to the point where he can BIOLOGICALLY effect organisms. I forget which comic, but basically in canon, Daken (Wolverine's son) comes across Gambit and they get into an altercation and Gambit EXPLODES Dakens arm just by touching it. But at this point it's kind of not-canonly possible because Gambits powers aren't known to effect living organisms like that. But I remember reading it and finding it pretty interesting he would be capable of something like that, even WITH a handicap.

-Gambit is bisexual. I think this is canon now, but it's not like wildly popular with the classic fan base. I remember reading somewhere that one of Gambits writers had plans on developing Gambit as a bisexual character (might have been Claremont) but that idea was originally axed. And in Gambit (2011) the writer was asked if they would ever explore Gambits bisexual nature, and they declined saying that a better story possibly sometime in the future could write that better than they could at the time. (I believe the Editors at the time of this issue series declined to write Gambit officially bisexual in modern-canon because it wouldn't align with his current character developments with Rogue and plans for that couple) But I always told myself with writing Gambit I'd express that side of him because it's so authentic to his character and just... Makes sense? Lol

-I base Gambits physical face/model off of a young male model named Corrado Martini. I try to capture that "look" when I'm drawing him. He has that youthful charm and handsome nature I feel that Gambit would have being young and in his twenties (at least when I write with him hahaha!)

I think that's all the head canons I can think for him this moment that I have lol! He's such a dope character and doesn't get as much credit as he deserves. Let me know if there's anything else youd like to chat about! 😄👋🏾

For real! They did all but say it! Him and his dad have the same build and eyes. Almost the same voice as well 😁

When I watched the last couple episodes of the series, I was thinking about why Logan wasn't with Evan trying to communicate with Ororo. Then the thought came to mind of 'well of course he had to give his all to get to Apocalypse, and as someone with a healing factor it would make sense to have someone who could get downed and get back up every time.'

Another thing I was thinking was that something that would also make sense is that the last bunch of times he had to fight his own people, family, etc. It didn't go well for him or them in the end.

Take Daken, for example... their fight ended with Logan having to kill his own son... granted, of course, Daken was dead set on killing his father. So it was never a win-win situation. But still terribly sad.

Also, Logan knows Ororo. He knows when she's got to defeat something herself or when she needs help. And whenever she needs help, you know he's right there for her every time. He knew that was something she had to do herself, regardless of the love of family members and such.
