I think the reason I am so obsessed with Damen and Laurent is because they are like true enemies to lovers. Like these two mfs had absolutely NO BUSINESS FALLING IN LOVE. They just did lol. AND... they go on to have a really sweet and pure relationship after everything as well. Like it's literally wild from start of book one to the end of the epilogue/short stories. Went from a toxic nightmare to basically married ruling two kingdoms together HAPPILY. WILD.

Damen would definitely casually wear crocs all the time. Laurent would think they were dumb and would be a crocs hater. But I feel like Damen would get him a pair as a gift in his favorite color. And he would be like, "They're just so comfy babe pls try them". And then Laurent would wear them once and say he is never going to wear them again. AND then would wear them all the time. He would be converted by the comfiness. Lol I just picture a modern au Lamen wearing crocs. Can someone please draw them wearing crocs, it hasn't been done and it feels like the world is missing out. 😂

I would love to see a short story from C.S. Pacat about them in a council meeting because I just know between the veretian and akielon councils and Laurent and Damen it's got to be pretty entertaining if not hilarious.

i also like to think that damen and laurent have a "safe word" but not for sex. just a signal damen can give to tell laurent to stop being a pain in the ass. usually laurent ignores it and damen makes this face
