i don't remember making a post about daeron, so are you just randomly sending me this ask? why are you expecting me to "justify" what daeron did when i wasn't even addressing it in the first place?

daeron did what he did because his 2yo nephew has been literally torn to pieces. i don't think it's any more "justified" then b&c, the sacking of lannisport and the enslavement and kidnapping of innocent women, aemond burning the riverlands, rhaenyra placing a bounty over maelor and jaehaera and etc. etc.

no one - from both sides - is "justified" to commit war crimes that result in innocent people being killed. that includes your faves and mine's. you can understand why this character acted the way they did without "justifying" their fictional war crimes.

So, a couple of things. I have the whole event planned out for the next 30 days, down to the randomly generated series of prompts and which characters they are matched with. Would people be interested in me posting the timeline of the event? i.e. which characters I'm writing about on which days, and what their randomized prompts are.

do you have any advice for helping to stay sober? ik it’s rly like not on brand with ur blog lol but i used to have a really bad opioid addiction and it’s better now; i’m 150 days clean and sober today, but people around me are using again and it’s getting stressful, and i don’t even wanna do it it’s the pressure from others.

please don’t ever feel bad for asking for advice, and just a quick reminder, my messages are always and forever open for anyone and everyone who needs help.

first of, 150 days clean is fucking huge and i am so infinitely proud of you, anon. and second, i understand the feeling all too well.

when i was around 17 nearly 18, i developed a bad drug addiction and was heavily dependent on alcohol. i quit both of them cold turkey when i was 19. there’s been so many ups and downs and i’ve been in and out of rehab, and then when people around me started using again it was almost like i had to, despite not wanting to and having no intention of doing so. i had an intense fear of disappointing people, so i thought ‘if i do it again, they’ll like me’.

the most important thing to do is first of all get away from those people and second: get out of that mindset as i guarantee that is doing you no good bb.

eventually it’ll get easier, even if it doesn’t feel like it right now, addiction is a disease and the fact you’ve made it this far just goes to show how strong you are ❤️❤️

i’m 450 days sober as of 4 hours ago, and sometimes it’s still hard, but it’s easier and it feels like the weight i’ve been carrying with me has been lifted somewhat. remember that if you can’t carry everything at once, it’s perfectly okay to do it brick by brick until you feel confident enough to do more.

most importantly focus on yourself and your wellbeing and stay away from those people bb

Wonder Woman paused and then said, "Oh, that's wonderful! How do you consider her? A sister? A daughter? Perhaps a cousin?"

Phantom and Spirit beamed at her. Phantom answered, "She's a little bit of everything? But mostly a little sister to me."

Then Superman blurted out, "But she's a clone! Shouldn't— I mean— isn't it strange?"

Both ghosts turned to him with green, glowing eyes.

"Pardon?"

"Say that again?"

Superman coughed. "Well— it's just— doesn't it make you uncomfortable that someone with your DNA, who was created by someone that's not you with unknown purposes, is just walking around? Don't you feel like it's an invasion of privacy and ethics to have clones of yourself walking around?"

Phantom and Spirit stared at him.

Then they looked at each other.

Then they both reached inside of themselves and pulled out a notepad and pen, respectively.

Spirit handed Phantom her pulled out item and he wrote something on it before ripping out a page and then giving it to Superman.

Superman stared at the set of numbers in front of him with confusion.

Spirit reached over and patted his elbow.

"It's the number to a trusted psychiatrist. You need it."

Eldritch Children

Hmmm

Wanna know would be a fun prompt.

So you know those stories where Danny goes all eldritch on a Gotham Rogue (mainly the Joker) after he attacks someone Danny cares for or him.

What if, instead of Danny, it's a deaged Ellie and/or Dan. What if Danny was hit by that one device that Vlad hit him with during that one DP episode where his powers were shut off for like 6 hours or something similar.

Basically Danny can't use his powers, he gets captured by a rogue, maybe it's being live broadcast or streamed, his tiny toddlers are there or while being babysat see the livestream/broadcast and decide to go save their 'Mama' from the 'baddy peoples'.

The Bats and Birds get there just in time to see a (or two) tiny toddlers demanding the 'baddy peoples' to give them their 'Mama' back or else. The Rogue laughs and says back like 'and how do you plan to make us?'

Then the child(ren) go full on (tiny) eldritch beast mode and takes everyone 'bad' out like it was nothing. (The cameras glitch out the moment they go eldritch so no one outside the room sees it happening)

Danny unties himself (he's been tied up so much he learned how to undo them even in his human side) or is untied and runs past the Bats/Birds ignoring them as they try stopping him and runs to his kid(s).

I like to imagine that every once in a while Red Hood just goes off comms for long stretches of time and comes back bruised as shit and exhausted before logging off for the night and the rest of bat brigade is trying to figure out which villain of the week keeps jumping him.

Eventually they, cause communication is a skill no one learned, just start harassing hood’s men to find out whose turf they are invading only to find out they thought the bats were beefing with Red again cause he keeps mumbling about brats.

Now they are trying to find out which one of them is lying about fucking with Jason and no one is owning up, the trackers they keep putting on him are fizzling out, no one as any idea and Jason ain’t saying shit. But like he’s never properly irritated about it or asks for help nor can they find anything out so they let it go for now (read keep trying to track him to no avail).

And then one night Red Robin comes across Red getting chased and then fighting off a feral looking teenager on the roofs of Crime Alley and just when he looks like he is getting the upper hand another drops down from above (how the fuck the nearest taller building is not anywhere near close enough to dive into the fight from what the fuck?!?) and joins the brawl.

Tim is about to rush in to help Jason before the two teens’ heads turn in unison to him with Lazarus green eyes and look like cats when they see a red dot. Jason panics and before he can grab them, they leap and now Tim is in a cartoon brawl dust cloud and all and Jason has joined in and is calling them all brats and how his gunna whop their ass- and there is a foot in his mouth.

And yet through it all Tim never feels afraid. In fact, as he fights he realises they are keeping up and beating him all whilst smiling and punning(?!? They must never meet dick SHIT DUCK) and that won’t fucking do, so he brings out all his tools and tricks and is getting matching by two raccoon twins. 20 minutes later they are all grinning bloody smiles and just as he is about to slam his bo staff up into into the female looking twin, a whistle is blown.

They all freeze and look over in unison as if they all became shining quadruplets at a giant shit house built fucking man. And like Tim has seen big men. Bane is a big mother fucker. Superman is a big mother fucker, and is also shaped like one. Bats is big but this guy even though his is maybe not as large he feels infinitely more terrifying and that’s before you get to the flaming(fucking literally, how does that even work or stay in the pony tail) white hair.

“Alright enough for tonight or foods gunna go cold. Inside.” A voice bellows across the roof before the man disappears??!? At the mention of food the one top of Tim almost starts drooling, gets up and starts dragging Tim’s still prone body across the roof and off of it OH FUCK AND INTO A WALL WHA and they went through it… well

A couple second later Jason and the other dude stumble in. Jason picks Tim up as he is coming down from that mini adrenaline rush at and puts a arm around Tim, half hug half chokehold, saying “say nothing and you get to join once a week. Say shit and you’re haunted.” And walks off to the kitchen and starts bringing out food.

… safe to say the rest of the bats are now confused why Tim of all people is now turning up bruised as well with Jason, cause if it was him to start why has he started loosing all of a sudden??? And he says fuck all but his weapons and fighting style has got more chaotic and terrifying.

Oh and he seems to be eating… well you win some and lose some

This incident would be like flinging a grenade into the timeline and it causes half of the Observant High Council to resign.

exhausted tbh, i had a 6 hour shift earlier tonight and someone texted me an hour ago asking if i can take their morning shift because they forgot to get it covered so i took it as a favor but i’m so so sleepy and was already planning on sleeping in in the morning. thankfully i work at a pool and mornings aren’t terribly busy but now i have to wake up earlier than i wanted to :( now i’m going to read my book (i’m rereading the pjo series!) until i fall asleep lol

Not you making a pro Rhaenyra post after hating on her lmao

i really don't hate rhaenyra as a character though.

i think the show!version of her is literally the definition of y\n Targaryen with as many dany references as possible to cover up the fact that she has no personality traits of her own, the only times she's entertaining is when the plot needs her to act book accurate (driftmark, dragonseeds ep) but it feels very forced and out of character. so yeah my main criticism is that she's very poorly written

book rhaenyra's an interesting character. but i think people really need to accept the fact that yes, she was wronged. alicent and otto are the villains in her story, but she's the villain in nettles story, she's the villain in helaena's story. she has done horrible stuff, and the fact that people were horrible to her & horrible stuff happened to her doesn't cancel out all of her wrongdoings.

dandad au where jason never reveals to the bats tgat he's alive: they find out because mar'i grayson and the twins go to the same kindergarten/pre school and become insanely close. they try to set up a playdate and dick fights jason because he thinks he's a clone.

It was on sight. I gotta say when Jason never reveals his identity to the batfam is one of my favorite tropes.

Starfire and Dan were picking up their kids from kindergarten and noticed the other wasn't exactly human and that their kiddos got along and set up a playdate without realizing that their partners were Dick or Jason. After the whole fight happens there is a long talk and tears(mostly Dick), Dick and Starfire are the only ones that found out about Jason so far.

Jazz: After dealing with Danny’s Magical boy problems for 2 years you get used to this type of stuff. Our parents are a bit dense so when I said she’s our cousin that’s come to live here they didn’t question it.

Then argues with him for letting himself waste away like that and coming to Amity Park if things don't get better. And if it's still not okay, to ask about Fenton, but be careful, Fenton CHILD!

bonus point if he was there with other heroes as part of an investigation mission and suddenly, all “normal” humans can see him. The panic that ensues can be so glorious, especially if the magical hero doesn't realize the problem himself/herself because it doesn't change anything for him/her

DP x DC Prompt: The Fenton Family is out in Gotham when someone starts giving the youngest member, Dani shit. A rogue, basic criminal, Damian Wayne, doesn't matter who. Jazz immediately activates Big Sister Mode and starts beating the shit out of them. Jack and Maddie cheer her on.

“You’re doing great, sweetie!”

“Yeah! Get ‘em in the kisser! Swing it! Whooo!”

Danny took a long sip of his milkshake as he watched his parents surround Jazz beating up a clown and cheer like it was the Super Bowl. They were cheering enthusiastically as Jazz was kicking and beating the handkerchiefs out of some creepy, green haired clown with ugly makeup.

Dani was next to him, also holding her own milkshake. He had bought it for her after the clown had tried kidnapping her. She sniffled, but thankfully, the tears that she had shed were mostly from surprise rather than fear. Now she was all smiles, watching Jazz exact revenge for her.

Another man, broad and with a streak of white in his hair, was standing next to them, staring at Jazz kicking the clown in the teeth. He looked a little lovesick, actually, but he hadn’t said a single word to them despite reeking of ectoplasmic rot. Other people were also watching and cheering for Jazz, excitedly waving their hands and recording the one-sided beat down.

It was almost a little sad.

Danny took another sip of his milkshake.

“Yeah! Yeah! Get ‘em!”

“Kick him again! Get him in the balls!”

He nodded to himself as a plan formulated in his head. Once Jazz got tired, he’d step in and take over breaking the clown’s bones for trying to hurt and scare their little sister.

Maybe this vacation wouldn’t be too bad.
