MINOR CHANGES

Over the next few days you’ll notice a few changes coming to the main in various forms, one of the main ones is the beautiful graphics Rey is making. One other is the affiliation titles, there are FOUR different affiliations; Dannato Club Employee, The Damned (the mob name), Corrupt (affiliated/associated but not fully initiated within the mob) and Unaffiliated. Please adjust your pages accordingly, and any future apps and bios will use these titles. We are also creating a trigger warning list, we ask all members to send us an ask with their characters affiliation and any trigger warnings you may have. Make sure you include imagery or written in this (ex: butterflies imagery would not include any mentions of butterflies, but images must be tagged.)

Dannato has been a labor of love for Darling and I. From the start we both wanted to create a place where we could create and write with a group of people who had the same goal as us; to have fun. However, in the process of creating we have hit one too many hiccups due to mistakes on our part and due to massive misunderstandings and stressors that we won’t go into too much detail about. At the end of the day, roleplays are supposed to be fun for everyone. To include admins and when a group becomes too stressful it runs the risk of ruining motivation, muse and just the group in general. 

So I say this to say that while we have loved writing with every member here; and everyone who contributed to make this a possibility it has ultimately become a source of stress instead of fun. It was a learning experience, one which we will never forget. However, it has come time to close this chapter of our admin ventures. We will ask that no part of our plot or character biographies be used or recreated. Everything about Dannato was original to admin Darling, Nyx and I’s effort with help from a previous member who took her time to ghost write for us. So we ask that you respect the work of ours and let it stay here. 

Now, all not is lost as Darling and I still have love to give and creativity to share. We fully intend to take the important admin lessons from Dannato and apply them to a future group that will include both circus elements as well as supernatural themes. We will be taking our time cultivating this group, ensuring it is exactly what we want it to be. Once it’s ready if you’re interested in something of the sort look out for us in the tags and if you like what you see feel free to send us an application. We wish you all well with your roleplay adventures and can not wait to start on this new adventure.

Due to basic human mistake and lack of research on our part, we agreed to change Elias’ faceclaim from Keanu Reeves to Joe Manganiello. It’s been brought to our attention that this could be seen as whitewashing. We apologise for any this has upset or offended, it was never our intention and we as admins instead chose to go with what felt right for the character and the muse the writer brought to us. We will be more mindful in the future about skeletons with poc faceclaim suggestions, and are working on a character who better fits Keanus face and heritage.

Hello all, I hope you had a good weekend, I am here to tell you about ACCEPTANCES! Our next acceptance date will be Friday 12th June! This will lead right into our first event and I am more than excited for you all to hear about that, but one more thing before that, I promise. We will now be doing acceptances EVERY FRIDAY. Giving you all week to work on your apps and get them in.
