Soulfire Purgatory Day 1-3

(a detailed list for those who dont know what’s going on for Blue team)

Spawn- lets talk about spawn in excruciating detail because it is a nightmare that I dont think simply saying its a snowy mountain has others really understand how utterly brutal this is. Spawn is on top of a snowy mountain, there is no dirt. Which blue team was desperate to find not even for food but for ‘create’ purposes so they might be able to turn it into stone. Yes thats right for the first half an hour no one could even break stone! They couldn’t make a furnace for glass to drink water! They had to travel hundreds of blocks till they found dirt, and everyone died to dehydration before making it. There is no time to decorate spawn to make it less treacherous. Anytime going back to spawn it takes over half health trying to get back to there meager spot of supplies. When spawning you break your ankles just getting off the mountain to water, thats not even including mobs, and then dehydration saps all the way down. When you nearly die just getting away from base and then have to regear to find your death location to recover belongings, there isnt time to go back hundreds of blocks to that humiliating spawn to make it more habitable, quests need to be done. Blue team was able to find a different npc quest merchant and Bad has even utilized Reds quest merchant because who on earth is going to rescale that ridiculous mountain.

Now lets talk players Bad, and Tubbo are the only hard hitters for the team (and there only really successful together) Pac and Aypierre are ‘mid range’ support and every other player is a resource player, they are not frequent players by any stretch (they make do and they’ve been killing it with it but in hopes of reliability its very sporadic). 2/3 of Blue team is filled with infrequent players and non parents. They dont have the stress that is riding on Bad’s shoulders which means many wont have the sense of urgency to play because there is no stakes for them. Now blue team has been crushing it in allocating jobs, Tina has been absolutely incredible in leading the resource front, she keeps up moral for the more inexperienced players and gives them tasks. She discovered an op item that has been fueling the rest of her team she’s been 100% a powerhouse. Because Blue has so little in terms of pvp power Bad and Tubbo have to scout and kill where they can. Part of being threatening is not letting the otherside know just how weak you are, if you keep appearing you seem relentless and it wears on your targets mind. It is not an easy trek to red teams base. They do it because its strategic it makes red team feel powerless but as Foolish has finally discovered on day 3 it is by no means easy, shouting ‘theres no way they make this trip everytime’ they do, its awful.

Narratively Bad was left a message by Dapper that instructed Bad to do whatever it took to win. Dapper was physically harming themselves to make potions to protect his siblings he isnt going to stop trying to protect them now. Dapper told Bad to win at whatever the cost and that is weighing like an enormous boulder in Bads heart. He wants every egg alive, and this clue along with their spawn has hinted to Bad that they are cursed and Bad wants to make sure they win.

so here’s the comprehensive break down of each day:

Day 1:

-no one can break stone to get water bottles for water they desperately travel hundreds of blocks to find dirt

-once finally finding dirt they are able to break stone for the first time

-they start mining and build a small farm along the shore

-Tubbo uses his materials to make create mechanics only to be told afterwards by the server that its not allowed so then has to go back and mine more

-Bad geared up enough in iron and marked down where player tags showed on the map well before anyone began hiding them, he spotted Slime alone on the map and hunted him down Slime had a lot of resources so Bad waited by his corpse as Tubbo, Aypierre and Nikki came to it.

-Aypierre branched away and discovered center and turned in quests

-Bad and Tubbo went to red teams base and caused a ruckus getting several kills (bad and tubbo both got six kills in total for the day)

-Tina went full farming simulator and gave lenay the task of saplings, Nikki dirt and sand collector and Missa became the apple boy while she made carrots and potatoes

-there base is raided by green, fit and etoiles kills tina, lenay, (nikki?), and missa

Day 2:

-coming off day 1 win and twitter pleas to go easy on red blue gets no kills today out of mercy

-they mine for materials and hand in every global quest for some reason this doesn’t seem to effect their score and while they had 3 people on there team gathering resources and turning them in Etoiles gains and over passes them with what seems like ease by himself

-this greatly demotivates and confuses blue

-nikki still spends all her time mining resources that bad hands in to global quests

-tubbo is killed by Etoiles

-tubbo spends a good chunk of time on a mob farm but the drop rates render it pretty much unusable

-Bad stashes some good materials he got from mining

-Bad scours the entire map to fill out his map and find other resources namely he spends his entire time searching for bunnies for a backpack he also looks around greens spawn area (he does nothing just scouts he was also looking for a banana)

-they allow backpacks the actual second Bad is kicked for time (it was soooo targeted)

-Tina discovers a resource late at night without anyone on (besides pol) an op resource that she passes on the following day

-Bad pleas with Tina to get a kill to see how it effects team score.

-Tina gets materials for a backpack

-poor Tina has a desperate miserable moment in the snow after dying to a hunger event

Day 3:

-Tubbo and Pac race to get diamonds to gear up

-they turn in every global quest early on and had double there needs to claim again (but no one did till too late in the evening to despute)

-Mobs were freakishly buffed and Bad died to a meature at reds base

-blue had so many deaths to mobs and after so many attempts just to retrieve bads body from reds base Bad builds a one block bridge at spawn to ocean for an easier time

-it was a brutal day with mobs for Blue and so many expressed true frustration and anguish. Very suspiciously the time with more blue players on this was true then towards the later half of the day the mobs go back to normal when more red team is on (i dont know if this is speculation but it seemed off and fishy)

-Bad and Aypierre leave a ghost block trap by reds mob spawner (quackity dies in it)

-bad kills Bagerha, Phil kills Bad and Aypierre claiming all there belongings

-Tubbo and Bad kill Etoiles. To start etoiles and fit chased tubbo, tubbo met up with bad and bad damaged fit enough to isolate Etoiles they persued until they killed him.

-bad makes a motor boat

-Bad is desperate to get kills today but Tubbo holds him back because the ‘poor’ red team what would twitter think! They spend the rest of there time ping ponging between center and red base

-Tina moves the farm underground

-missa is killed by foolish and also gives that red knows where to find them.

During all the days they die a-lot and travel constantly. To get to center they have to walk up over the volcano. Blue spawn is the furthest from center with there being a mountain to climb to get to it. Ive heard from other teams views that its an ‘advantage’ because other teams cant get to there base. But A there true ‘base’ is out on an open beach and B other teams dont even have to do anything because there spawn already does the work for them, its hellish!

this is my ridiculously long account of the trials of team Soulfire day 1-3, you deserve a medal if youve read this far. Gold stars all around

What/How I write [Pt.2]

Ipliers:

Darkiplier: Dark is a little more complicated than Anti. While he tends to stay on the evil side, if there is a large threat (which he highly doubts will happen) hed team up with the good, but only for that moment. He is usually calm and collective, and tries to stay away from most other egos, the few exceptions being Host, Phantom, and maybe one or two more. He's less fond of the Neutral people (like Mare) than he is of the Good aliance, as he believes it should be good or evil, no in between.

Dr. Iplier: Not quite on Schneeps level, but Dr. Iplier is still a skilled individual! If Schneep ever goes missing, or is the one who needs medical help, Dr. Iplier is there to help! He's closer with the Septics than the other Ipliers, as most of the Ipliers are alligned evilly, but he does hang with them only for the purpose of feeling like a contributing ego for the Ipliers. The others usually dont mind him being around, but they also dont acknowledge him as much, which can be depressing. Luckily Scneep is always there to back him up!

Googleplier: Primary objective is to answer questions as quickly as possible. Secondary objective is to destroy mankind. Google is as nuetral as they come. This AI hangs around almost everyone, with the exception of Anti. Almost always obeys commands unless they bring harm to himself. Google memorizes everything he witnesses and can easily recite sayings and events word for word and moment for moment. He's also great at reading others emotions and decisions, and can usually tell what they're thinking. The only person he can't get a read on is Paultin...

The Host: Host is another character/ego I'm not too familiar with, but the concept of him is enough to make me want to write about him! Host is most connected with Dark, as they share a unique bond with each other. As for the way I write him, I guess you'll just have to see since I dont really know myself!

Wilford "Motherloving" Warfstache: Mmm yes, where to even begin with Warfstache! He isnt alligned with the good or the bad, nor is he neutral! Wilford is basically the stand alone guy who goes with the first thing that comes to mind. He is the only ego along with Paultin with the ability to break the 4th wall, and that's always fun to write! The only person he really spends time with is JJ and sometimes Paultin, as they both share some similarities with him. At first he wanted to use JJ, but then actually grew attached to the younger dapper and now teaches and protects him. Theres a good guy in there after all!

Natemare: The original Natewantstobattle ego. While technically born in the community first, Mare is the younger brother of Phantom. Mare is neutrally alligned and whomever he's with he enjoys to make a scene and cause chaos. There are days where he'll help Phantom and there are days where he wont stop until he knows his brother is pissed off. Mare doesnt know 'Magic' per say, but he has the unique ability to show others what they fear most in life. When this happens, a purple and black cloud wraps around whom he desires and until they are aware it's a spectral they are trapped in its course.

Paultin Seppa: The best Bard boi! Paultin Seppa loves how his name is a pun on Salt 'N Peppa, and finds it absolutely hilarious! One of the interesting things about Paultin is he's a 4th wall breaker, and loves interacting with the audience. Paultin is extremely talented with magic and music, and people usually notice who he is when they see him. There are actually times where he and Marvin will perform together, and when that happens everyone adores it. Paultin has a 'son' named Simon, who's quite the jokester!

Pluck: Pluck is our bird boi who lost his ability to fly. While not quite as skilled at magic as Paultin or Marvin, he knows quite a bit of spells. Pluck usually prefers to stay out of fights and watch from the sidelines, but he'll join in if he realizes it's important or life threatening. The downside is when things get rough, he tends to encase the area in complete darkness... Pluck technically is a father to 6 lizard babies: Graven, Willan, Xrits, Alidiana, Davward, and Marvyre. Pluck loves his children greatly, even if they do tend to cause some trouble.

The Phantom: The Phantom is basically the exact opposite of his younger brother, Mare. Usually calm and collected, Phantom thinks his plans through and is a manipulative person in general. He runs Phantom's Dream Emporium, in which many unsuspecting visitors have lost their souls to him. Having been through many timelines and eras, Phantom knows exactly what someone desires. In fact, in contradiction to Mare, Phantom has the unique ability to show others what they desire most in life. When the two work together, they are an unstoppable team. Phantom knows a much broader variety of spells than any other ego. Something to take note of is he often keeps and eye on Marvin... Wonder why...

Zack Spade: Zack is a mercenary, who was formerly known as The Deathslinger. He wields two dischargers (known as guns in this world) and is extremely skilled at using them. Zack usually keeps a stone cold expression, talking in a serious manner. Not many people are able to get his locked up emotions to show, but when he wants to he can crack a "joke" or two. The best way to see Zacks true colors is to challenge him to a drinking game, and Paultin knows this all too well.
