Introducing…
Hamato Raphael (18) After the invasion, Raph gets a whole lot of nightmares about the Krang and is always overwhelmed, which leads to him occasionally losing his temper. | After Splinter’s death, he finds a mysterious box in Splinter’s room that contains his journal, family scrolls, and secrets. He helps Donnie with translations while simultaneously managing his nightmares, temper, and making sure his brother’s don’t get killed (mainly Leo). Eventually, Raph discovers that he can tame Krang-infected people and makes the infected Foot Clan his family's guard dogs. This allows Raph to regain some sort of control over his trauma.
Hamato Leonardo (17) After the invasion, Leo starts going out at night to look for trouble. He starts to believe that death and destruction follows him everywhere he goes. It starts with fighting bad guys, but he gradually starts blurring the lines between bad and good. | After Splinter’s death, Leo adopts the persona of Death and really leans into this character. He goes looking for suspects and uses unethical methods to get answers. After he learns the truth about the Hamato Clan, he feels less guilty about what he’s doing.
Hamato Donatello (17) After the invasion, Donnie coops himself up in his room and stays up most of the night tinkering with strange objects. He suffers from migraines, which is a side effect of integrating with the Krang ship. | After Splinter’s death, he switches focus and almost obsesses over the Hamato scrolls, which he’s tasked with translating. After knowing the truth about the Hamato Clan, he will find and utilize scraps from the Krang ship that crashed into Earth to build something that will ensure his family is protected. During this process, there is an explosion that causes Donnie to hallucinate.
Hamato Michelangelo (16) After the invasion, Mikey’s adjusting to his injuries and starts drawing Krang symbols in his art. | After Splinter’s death, his drawings become more vivid as his mental state declines. After uncovering the truth about the Hamato Clan, Mikey convinces himself that everything bad that happened to their family was for a reason. He seeks comfort in the Krang and will view them as holy beings whom he'll worship.
Yuichi Usagi (17) Usagi is on a mission to hunt down the man who had destroyed his village, and his family. He hires Murakami Gennosuke to help him track down and kill Hamato Yoshi. | After the deed is done, he meets Leo and helps him search for his father’s killer without knowing that Leo is Yoshi’s son. When Usagi finds out the truth about Leo, he’ll attempt to kill him. Usagi is afraid of the dark because he can hear the screams of his burning village.
Additional context:
Splinter has a secret box that is basically like an archive of all the bad things that the Hamato Clan has done in the past (I'll probably make a separate post that dives into the family lore). 6 months after the invasion, Splinter is killed by Usagi.
This post is describing what the turtles go through immediately after the invasion, when Splinter is killed, and the aftermath of uncovering their dark family secrets.

AI GENERATED IMAGES BY ME EDITED IN PHOTOSHOP FANDOM: DARKSIDERS
UNIVERSE OF ELD (CONCEPT TEASER)
"A compendium most ancient tells us of the Eld'hyunen civilisation and race." ────────────────
The Universe Of Eld is a documented archive of elder humans known as the Eld'hyunen, set in the Darksiders universe.
The Compendium will serve as a conduit for lore that isn't fully covered in the following stories: A Fate Worse Than Death, Lovers In Eden and Little Light. Many branches of lore, extending into culture and belief systems, anatomy, geography of the realm and it's fauna + flora, the Eld'hynunen connection to modern-day humans, and lots and lots of concept art with it!
The universe compendium is not a mandatory read and it just available for those potentially interested in the lore of this created species. (Above is the official cover for Universe Of Eld but this concept teaser is not the actual release. More so, just a little BTS content. Read more below.
WHAT INSPIRATION IS BEHIND THE ELD'HYUNEN RACE?────────────────
Numerous sources contributed to the Eld'hyunen species, one of - if not the biggest - is James Cameron's Na'vi. (I know, but I'm getting to that.) If you will examine the following images pulled from Pinterest:

Among the interest of basic human evolution, we turn our sights to Pandora for much inspiration for the Eld’hyunen creation.
So what exactly did the Na’vi have that drew inspiration? First off and in this concept teaser’s regard, their unique design. A beautiful existence that feels so grounded in the field of science-fiction. Their appearance has an eye-catching allure that I adore, not only that but the behavioural attributes this species possesses. They live in a stunning yet dangerous world, much like our own and because of this, they have evolved into adept inhabitants to their surroundings. (And c’mon, who doesn’t wanna be a Na’vi these days? Off topic, let’s get back to it.)
But I didn’t just want to reskin an already created property, cause that’s illegal and also very mean. But I incorporated what I love about the racial design into the already existing human. On with the next source of inspiration.

You’re now thinking elves, aren’t you? So because of the Eld’hyunen’s close connection to modern day humans, we now begin taking in the elven anatomy. Elegant, sleek, very beautiful and an iconic staple of the fantasy label. And much like elves, Eld’hyunen live very long lifespans that exceed humans by thousands of years.
The Creator’s intention with this species was not only as an elder human prototype that then led into the creation of humans, but they were to act as wardens to their mortal and fragile counterparts. To nurse them, teach them and eventually slowly die out by the time humans came into their full potential within the balance.
Now, how do we combine these fantastical races into human anatomy? It’s quite simple, really, we envision and craft. So let’s take a closer look at the Eld’hyunen and the ingredients collected from our sources of inspiration. (Please excuse the shit body templates, I'll be doing a proper male and female with the anatomy concept art)

The Eld’hyunen come in a variety of skin tones, much like humans. From deep, chocolatey hues to the creamiest tone of milk and everything in between. On a note, this species of elder human do not stand at the towering height Na’vi do. The typical standing height for adult males is between 5’11 - 6’8, though some of older ages have been recorded to stand well at 7’0.
The standard adult female height for Eld’hyunen is between 5’0 - 6’0, with very rare occurrences that they exceed any higher.
The facial structure is relatively normal and practically identical to humans with only a few hinted differences. The ear placement is the same with the only evident difference being that Eld’hyunen possess longer, elf-like ears that have the high-functioning auricular muscles allowing movement, granting them an evolved sense of hearing matching that of Earth's deadliest predators.
Eld’hyunen eyes tend to be a little larger than the regular human but other than that retain a moderate sized pupil and iris and contain the tapetum lucidum lense. Inside the mouth, Eld’hyunen have four elongated and very sharp fangs where the lateral incisors and canine cuspid are located, with two shorter, wider yet just as sharp lower canines.
Moving onto the limbs, hands and feet are identical to modern humans, with five fingers and toes accounted for on each, though these limbs are considerably stronger with claws that form naturally into points at the fingertips, measuring a few inches in length that enable a steady grip onto surfaces.
Towards the back end and located at the spine’s end is the familiar tuck of the tailbone. Modern humans of course have this peculiar anatomical bone but to what extent? It’s said that the tailbone served a purpose now long since gone. The exact same location on the Eld’hyunen is shown to have an actual tail to aid in balance mostly like many big and predatory cats. Compared to the Na’vi, these tails are not tufted with fur at the ends, instead tapering into a smooth, small yet thinly rounded tip and have accessible muscles that can move the appendage.
Female tails measure shorter than the males, usually reaching just above the knee or a little higher. Males tend to have longer tails that are thicker in girth and reach just below the knee.
And that concludes our concept teaser! Thank you for reading if you stuck around.

This is your pass to gush like crazy about any F/O you’d like !!!🖤 Tell us about lore or fun facts or cute stuff y’all do!!
So, Usiel is very protective over me, but he also knows that I won't stray far from him either. So if he's busy, he'll have one from his army watch over and follow me.
When I got stuck in the Bonelands, his army found me. Once they were certain that I was human, Usiel tried to get to the Maker's Tree, only for his plans to be unraveled because of Lust. We got closer the longer I was stuck with them. I even offered him some help with his maps, and his army when they came back injured from Lust's army. I grew close to all of them, and I was often part of an angel cuddle pile. However, when Fury got to us, with the amulet, she offered to send me through the via magic to the Maker's Tree. Before I went, I had Usiel promise me he'd come back safe, and left him with a little kiss on the cheek ☺️
After getting to the tree, I was met with more humans and the Makers! Ulthane was was scary at first, but I quickly warmed up to him. However, I had spent so much time with Usiel and his army, that I really missed them. When Fury came back, I got upset that Usiel and his men weren't with her, but I knew he had a job that was higher than my need for him.
Once the apocalypse was over, and humanity was slowly coming back to Earth, I was still waiting for Usiel. A part of me hoped he remembered me, and that maybe I meant more to them.
They do come back. Well, his army finds me and takes me back to the White City, because Usiel was upset from almost succumbing to Lust and didn't know if he could face me after everything. So, they brought me to him. We managed to work everything out, and I pulled him into our first, proper kiss ☺️
Nowadays, we move between realms, and his army is always excited when I come back to White City. It's mostly because they know they'll get their cuddle pile, but also because I bring back treats from Earth ☺️
(Usiel really likes chocolate and peanut butter brownies)

Another WIP + fun fact about Jay:
After Ulthane rescues Jay, at first she was silent and distant (of course). But after some time and talking with Jones, Jay starts asking more on how she can help and from there, their friendship begins. It was also where she watched Ulthane craft certain tools and weapons using magic, which he enjoyed talking about with her. Even when Haven was under attack Jay wanted to help him fight, but he turned her down, saying that protecting her and her people were more important.
So imagine his surprise when he sees her again 100 years later and with the red rider of all people.

BEHOLD-- one of my oldest OCs on this blog. Lord/Lady Darkside used to be found over on @omnipotentmoon and @tenebrixluna. They were originally the shadow/antithesis of their MiM from the half baked plot of a madman [it was me, I was the madman]. They eventually grew into an expression of my own gender identity and played a KEY part in me figuring myself out.
Which I guess is weird as a transmasc who played a character that became transfem but honestly that shit helped me put stuff into order. I was curious [as at the time, a genderfluid bean] about gender identity and making THIS CHARACTER got me to research it.
Now I'm tapped to speak at schools, universities, and conventions on the celebration of gender identity. None of this would be possible without her.
I found myself through them.
NOTE: Lately Darkside presents almost exclusively femme, but they will retreat into masculine presenting traits if uncomfortable or irritated. Lord Darkside makes limited appearances lately, but seems comprised of a lot of repressed emotions. He's as abrasive as she is intoxicating. In changing the presentation of their gender, Darkside also has a slight shift in how they present their personality. Lord Darkside is shorter than Lady Darkside by quite the margin, indicating the entity's more 'retreated' personality. There's a lot of deep layers in why this is what it is so if ya have any questions about them I am more than happy to answer. As far as folks are concerned-- Darkside is a primarily femme presenting genderfluid shadow thommy. At least that's what I've been told.
#;;darkside#;;ooc#ahaha here we are again it's time for some VTUBER LORE#is it that? i mean she's a RP character I play in VRC and on here so like maybe a little bit of both?#IDK THIS IS JUST CHARACTER LORE CUZ PEEPS WANT ME TO SHARE THESE NUGGETS#art is by hannahthesmall like omg look at this it's so FECKING GOOD#AND THIS WAS LIKE AGES AGO SHE'S ONLY GOTTEN BETTER I AM SO PROUD OF MY FREN#AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA#nerdy is high ignore nerdy

Headcanon time!
So now that I've got Strife, War and (hopefully) soon to be Death and Fury as muses on the blog, I've devised an explanation for how they and the Charred Council can be worked into the lore with blogs that have Ultrakill, Hazbin/Helluva, Doom, Diablo, and similar themed muses.
Charred Council is effectively the Internal Affairs unit for the 1st (Heaven), 2nd (Hell), and to a lesser extent 3rd (Human) Kingdoms. They answer to what is effectively God, or a greater god like being if that works out better.
All of this is for lore purposes, and/or one explanation as to why the Horsemen are visiting your muse.
Also, side; unless stated otherwise, the fall of the 3rd Kingdom has not happened yet.

Main Lore: Who is Dreadnought Kanemargyr?
Dreadnought Kanemargyr, also known as the Multiversal Warmonger, is a destructive tyrant, hellbent on conquering new worlds to suit his own empire.
Dreadnought was never like this however. In fact, he was a more peaceful entity, who was born into the royal Kanemargyr family. He was raised and cherished by his parents, and was popular not only because of his royal heritage, but also because of his extraordinary nature of creativity, modesty, and intellect.
How, it was only a matter of time before tragedy struck, as his home world would be decimated by an evil force, hellbent on conquer, tyranny, and war. It was in his young years when the invasion happened, and that day is his most hated, for on that day, he lost everything he cared about. His family, his friends, all of it. Gone.
With the young Kanemargyr traumatized by this happening, there came a new feeling. Rage. No. He wanted revenge. That was when he took matters into his own hands. He stormed into the conqueror's lair and killed him on the spot. With this, he took control over the conqueror's army, and he finally achieved vengeance.
...or did he?
Dreadnought had held onto hope that the Dream Warriors could help him and bring prosperity back to his fallen home. He had learn all about the Dream World and the Dream Warriors through his studies, and has met a few. His kin were even had good relations with them. Surely they would help regain his world... Yet they never came... No one came to help him in the time of need...
He kept a hold on hope that they would come, but it was clear to him that no one would come to his aid. With this came with a shift of persona: He was no longer the kind hearted person he once was. He was now a fallen soul; a tyrant.
With this shift, Dreadnought would learn about the mysticality of dark magic. He learned how to use this dark ability in a way that made him imposing. This was the moment when he gained so much dark magic and power, he essentially became an unstoppable force. And with this, his empire would grow, his power strengthening, and worlds trembling before his might.
However even with this power, he doesn't destroy; he conquers. He saw no purpose in mass destruction, so instead he intends to spread his fearful reign through his tyrannical rule, an act of revenge against the ones whom have failed to save him.
Dreadnought Kanemargyr is my favorite character I have ever made. I find his background story to be the best thing I've written for a character. I've really been fond of the villain archetypes that are essentially the way they are because of their past trauma. The villains you can sympathize with and understand why they are the way they are, but at the end of the day, they're still a menace to those who oppose them. He's just perfect in my eyes...
Also this guy took like so many redesigns for me actually come up with a canonical look-
"We often look to fairytales that inspire the generations to morph themselves into what they believe will be the path of solitude, of glory... Alas, they're blinded to the truth. Fairytales are just that; fairytales. Myths. They aspire to glory, only to witness ruin at the truth of fables and their lies..."
"No one was there for me... what makes you think anyone will be there for you?"

Hi! You made a post a little while ago about syd's use of cannabis and psychedelics, how they could have interacted, and how that may have affected his behavior. I was wondering if you were citing personal experience or if you had read anything about those interactions that you could point me towards. I'm doing a little research project right now and would love some insight. Thanks!
hello! content warning below for drug use obviously.
that post was informed by a mix of personal experience and outside research. unfortunately, because of the legal status of psychedelics, not many real medical studies have been done (for one exception that supports what I explained in the post, see: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9110465/). due to this, a lot of the time the best way to learn is through reading through various forums for people who use these drugs. obviously, you can't trust everything you hear on like, r/lsd, but there is something valuable about collective knowledge-building, especially when the same questions are asked repeatedly and get very similar answers from a wide variety of people.
for instance, as for the psychedelics/cannabis interaction, reading the forums will give you the sense that a lot of people have different experiences, but overall, they report (mirroring that article linked above) that mixing the two makes for a much stronger, longer trip, and a semi long-term change in how cannabis on its own is responded to. this certainly matches up with what I've experienced. if you're doing your own research, I really would recommend getting onto these boards and cross-checking across many similar posts to start learning.
transparently, I actually got a lot of my information about lsd and about syd specifically from one-on-one conversations with my ...uh.... source. he's quite the character. he's an 80 year old man I met at a pink floyd tribute concert who's covered in dsotm tattoos. he was actually part of the original psychedelics scene back in the 60's, and he's a syd superfan, so he's got a lot of accumulated knowledge (he also works in the pharmaceutical industry). when I first bought from him, he gave me about a 30 minute lecture on exactly how people like syd did acid in the late 60's and why that was so dangerous (i.e., "so don't do it like that"). obviously I fact-checked him afterwards, but all that was very insightful.
if you have any specific questions, please feel free to dm me or send more asks. I'd be happy to talk about my own experiences with psychedelics if you think that would help. I have a lot of information about things like dosage, safety tips, short vs. long-term effects, benefits vs. risks, etc, that I've just built up over time. I guess it all depends on what kind of project you're working on.
#i find the topic of psychedelics really interesting. especially the way that it contextualizes a lot of the history of music in the 60's#I don't want to make posts that sound like I'm encouraging drug use#but once you've -done- acid it significantly changes the lens through which you view events like what happened to syd#or lighter things like early vs. late beatles albums#for better or worse it only takes trying it once for you to be like '....oh. -okay-. well that explains 1967.'#///#I talked about him in the present tense but my guy actually died recently :/ not of anything related just old age#RIP darkside bill you will be missed#asks#personal lore

Full Plot of the Cancelled Sith Shrine arc from Star Wars The Clone Wars: Season 8
The plot of this arc was repurposed in Star Wars Rebels, when Ezra and Maul merge Holocrons together – as well as for the Sith temple on Malachor. The design for the temple and the wasteland where the swords are impaled in the ground were all concepts that were created for Star Wars: The Clone Wars, but were later reused in Star Wars Rebels; and the Sith temple which was supposed to be located deep beneath Coruscant became a planet of its own instead of Malachor.

Yoda gets lured by Sidious like he did in Season 6 when he was messing with Yoda’s mind. Palpatine activates the temple and the disturbance in the Force lures Master Yoda. Additionally, Sidious partially messing with Yoda’s mind, since he knew that Yoda was likely the only one who had an idea of what was to come.

Sidious wanted Yoda to open a Holocron for him, but Yoda refuses, so he decides to hold Yoda hostage and to have other Jedi come down in an attempt to rescue him. The plan was for the other Jedi to open the Holocron for Sidious instead, in order to free Yoda in exchange. Ahsoka realizes this, and went to inform the Jedi that chasing after Yoda was wrong because it was a trap. Sidious would have also tried to sacrifice Yoda because in ancient times, the Sith used to sacrifice Jedi on altars.

Sidious wanted a Jedi Holocron – which Ahsoka would have then secured and returned back to the vault, and she would seal the door shut with her lightsaber while Sidious was on the other side shooting lightning at her. This would be her only glimpse at Sidious, even though she didn't exactly know who he was.

The Geonosians were utilized by Dooku in order to look for the temple itself. Sidious and Dooku didn’t know where it was but Sidious heard about it, so they had to find it first. The Jedi also need to use the Geonosians as guides, because the Geonosians being creatures that live in catacombs and depths by nature, were useful. The Jedi then free Poggle in order to tell them where all of those Geonosians were going (the Geonosians used by Dooku).

The Temple had kaiju-like monsters called "protectors." They lived in the depths and had moved to those caves to live in them. After a while they started acting as custodians or protectors of the ruins beneath the surface. The Jedi had to get past them in order gain access. Their role in the story was more so for lore-building rather than vital to the plot itself.
The Sith temple was only one. But still underground, just above the surface of the buried Sith temple there would have been both Sith and Jedi architecture sometimes even mixed together testifying how the Jedi had gradually started building on top of more ancient Sith ruins and ended up "overwriting" the history of those locations by imposing Jedi architecture and Jedi culture that concealed or sometimes even destroyed past Sith architecture.
This would have also shown the battle that happened between the Sith and the Jedi, so it had more than simply a cultural relevance. The whole plot and theme of the arc was similar to the ruins of Mar in the Jak and Daxter franchise where the ruins of Mar are buried deep beneath Haven City and the city was built on top of it.
The Jedi would have also used capsule-like vehicles to descend deep beneath the surface because they had trouble descending in Level 0. The main Jedi accompanying Ahsoka were Anakin and Obi-Wan. There would have been scenes where Plo Koon, Kit Fisto, Mace Windu, Ki-Adi Mundi appear – but the main ones involved are Anakin, Obi-Wan and Ahsoka.

The reward for mixing Darkside arts and the knowledge contained in a Jedi Holocron was similar to what Ezra and Maul obtained in Star Wars Rebels, although at the time when they wrote the Sith Temple arc, they had decided that the reward for mixing Darkside and Lightside was a vision of the future – and Sidious wanted to see the future to know if his enemies would be defeated and if his schemes would actually come to fruition, or if he had to retrace his steps and change some things and to see how his enemies would have reacted.

As far as how the arc ended – the Jedi rescue Yoda, Poggle returns to Dooku (hence his return in ROTS), and the Temple would have been destroyed similar to what happens in Star Wars Rebels with Malachor. The Jedi decide to keep the matter a secret -- even from other Jedi who didn’t know – because the fact that the Darkside of the Force was so close to them, and they never noticed or sensed it would make the Jedi look weak.

Also, according to them – in the end it was better that the temple was destroyed because the Jedi had the mindset that the Darkside has nothing to offer them or to show them, so it’s better off if it was destroyed and buried forever. But this would leave Master Yoda disturbed because it meant that their enemies were much much closer than they had initially realized.
Ahsoka would have "returned" to the Jedi, but she would have acted as a sort of "external informant" on their behalf for some time; and this is where her role comes into place with this arc – because she would have investigated in the lower world and found out where Master Yoda was taken. In the original intentions for the show, Ahsoka was not so sour with the Jedi after she left them.
Anakin initially is upset that Ahsoka left to begin with, but by the end of the arc, he accepts that Ahsoka made her own decision, a nod to Obi-Wan's wise words in the Utapau arc: "She made the decision..." Ahsoka doesn't fully commit to the Jedi until the Siege of Mandalore arc, which is where she joins with Rex and the 332nd.
Unrelated, but one element that was removed from Dark Disciple is Ahsoka's role, because in the original version, Ahsoka still held a close relationship with the Jedi despite being outside the order; and she would act as an external informant or agent for the Jedi when the Jedi themselves were limited by their own morality or code. So the Jedi would have gotten Ahsoka to contact Ventress for the job they wanted Ventress to do for them (assassinate Dooku with Quinlan Vos) because they thought Ventress would be more open to listening to Ahsoka and also because Ahsoka lived in the underworld so she could find out Ventress’s location at the time and approach her.
