I think I'm just gonna make another sideblog for an actual irl pokemon-focused character. Y'all have made it very clear that self-inserts and folks who realistically know characters of importance in small diegetic communities like upcountry Alola aren't welcome, and I just feel like shit trying to make Gabe and Tasha fit in when we're not even welcome in the Discord by the server's rules

I understand the desire to avoid the Sues and Stus y'all are so scared of, but tumblr is one of the most actively anti-oc places I've ever seen, even if the oc in question ISN'T either of the above. I've made more progress with this character in private Discord stuff and on my own than I clearly ever could here. It's fucking me up

I'm starting to remember why I left the pokemon rpc altogether years ago and it really fucking sucks that it hasn't improved
