annnd that's officially a wrap on our very first show as christian and satine! a huge thank you to everyone who came out tonight to watch our debuts in moulin rouge — your support means the world. it felt so, so good to be back on stage, and i can't believe i'll be sharing the stage with my dearest stella eight times a week from now on!

now that it’s time to celebrate, i’m curious — what's your go-to celebratory drink? doesn't have to be alcoholic, of course. in fact, non-alcoholic options are encouraged. i'd love to hear some suggestions!

Where's the video, hmmm? I feel like this is something we all should be able to appreciate in real time, so we can help you break into a new career as a voice actor and/or audiobook performer, and you know the saying: pics or it didn't happen. And I don't just say that because I need photographic evidence of you being adorable with a toddler, no sir.

Who do you think you are? What I choose to do with my life is what I choose and pitting people against other people is just cruel. You have a right to your opinion but you also have a right to keep it to yourself next time. I have no doubts I’d be happy with him, but timing got in the way of giving it a real chance.

Congratulations to all three of you! That’s amazing news, I bet Drew’s over the moon. I imagine it’ll be hard to top that for best moment in 2019, with so little of the year left, but 2020 looks like it’s shaping up to be a pretty good one for the Clarington clan.

He’s pretty happy yes.  And well, I’ve learned to never underestimate my wife.  If she wanted to top this in 2019; she will.  But yes, 2020 will be great for Drew, Lucky and I for the most part.

I figured you’d be staying in LA for Christmas, since Mom and Dad are otherwise occupied this year, but I’m glad you won’t be out there by yourself for the holidays, at least.

Sadly, there is no room for humility in LA.  Humble people are trampled by the machine that is Hollywood.  You wouldn’t want me getting chewed up and spit out by Hollywood now would you Squirt?  

Besides, everyone knows you’re the humble Anderson and I’d hate to be accused of stealing your spot.

Well, that was part of the reason I wanted to come here.  Christmas isn’t Christmas in LA.  And I have a break right now, and with mom and Dad other wise occupied I figured you and Kat and Lulu might be feeling a little orphaned, so Big Brother Coop to the rescue.

C’mon tell me all the news.  What are we doing this week?

If one of them has really good audio? I can make it look really sharp, definitely resume-worthy. I will be, yes! I’ll make sure you’re cleared with security and just have them buzz me when you get in, I’ll give you the grand tour. Nothing terribly serious, it’s just not fair of me to give our recording artists anything less than my very best when it’s their music on the line.

Hmm, I’ll check with August. If anyone has really good audio it’s probably him. If it’s any good I’ll send it to you. Okay, cool. I’ll see you later today then, can’t wait to see what that place looks like. Yeah, no... I get that, you only want the best of the best for them. Really keeping my fingers crossed for it to get better so you at least get to enjoy singing again, even if it’s only under the shower.

It only took her a few moments to retrieve her cleaning supplies from her locker -- sadly practice really did make perfect in this case -- and she was on her way to meet Blaine a full minute earlier than she expected, even with the added caution she took against becoming a slushy victim herself. Unfortunately, this also mean she had a minute less to prepare herself for the final leg of her journey.

Twenty seconds spent on staring at the doors from the other side of the hall, another 20 double checking for potential witnesses, fifteen on false starts, and the final five on rushing through the doors backwards with one hand over her eyes as the other clutched her kit to her chest ate up her efficiency. Another ten went passed as she stood motionless, ears strained for any sound of more than the one occupant she'd come here to find.

"Blaine." She called out, barely over a whisper before she took a deep breath and tried again, this time managing something closer to her normal volume. "Blaine?"
