Lokius Top 10 Songs (for now)
Inspired by @loki-is-my-kink-awakening, I occupied the background of my brain this week by trying to pick out the ten songs I would choose for Lokius. It was more difficult than I expected!
Song list below!
“Hold On, I’m Comin’” - Sam & Dave
Don’t have to worry, ‘cause I’m here/ No need to suffer, baby, ‘cause I’m here/ Just hold on, I’m comin’
“Can’t Fight This Feeling” - REO Speedwagon
What started out as friendship has grown stronger/ I only wish I had the strength to let it show
“that way” - Tate McRae
But friends don’t look at friends that way/ Friends don’t look at friends that way
“Dancing On My Own” - Calum Scott
I’m in the corner, watching you kiss her/ And I’m giving it my all, but I’m not the guy you’re taking home
“Have A Little Faith In Me” - Delbert McClinton
You see time, time, is our friend/ ‘Cause for us there is no end/ And all you gotta do is have a little faith in me
“multiverse” - Maya Manuela, PEMBROKE
Somewhere in the multiverse/ There’s a you and me that works
“Fall Into Me” - Forest Blakk
The day I met you the world had just spit me out/ On my way to the bottom, sure I’d never be found/ Then you saw me for me, made me believe in myself
“For Good” - Lee Lessack, Stephen Schwartz
And now whatever way our stories end/ I know you have rewritten mine/ By being my friend
“You Are The Best Thing” - Ray LaMontagne
We’ve come a long way, baby/ You know, I hope and I pray that you believe me/ When I say this love will never fade away
“Make It Out” - Boundary Run
I will hold this house up with my own two hands/ So you can make it out

LOS ANGELES (KTLA) – Some of the biggest names in pop, rock and country are coming together to raise funds for victims of the Palisades and Eaton wildfires and assist with the recovery.
A benefit concert, FireAid, will take place on Jan. 30 on two stages, one at Intuit Dome and the other at The Kia Forum, organizers announced on Thursday.
More than 15 music acts have been announced so far, including Billie Eilish and Finneas, Earth, Wind & Fire, Gracie Abrams, Green Day, Gwen Stefani, Jelly Roll, Joni Mitchell, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Lil Baby, P!nk, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rod Stewart, Sting, Stephen Stills, Stevie Nicks, Tate McRae, and performing together for the first time, Dave Matthews and John Mayer.
Additional artists will be announced in the coming days.
This special event is being produced by Shelli, Irving, and the Azoff family in conjunction with Live Nation and AEG Presents. Proceeds will be directed to a new nonprofit that supports displaced families, helps rebuild infrastructure, and improves fire prevention technologies and strategies to ensure Los Angeles is better prepared for wildfires in the future.
Tickets go on sale Wednesday, January 22. Tap here for FireAid ticket information.
Tumblr media
Fans across the globe will be able to make contributions to the cause, as FireAid will be broadcast and streamed live on Apple Music and the Apple TV app, Max, iHeartRadio, KTLA+, Netflix/Tudom, Paramount+, Prime Video and the Amazon Music Channel on Twitch, SiriusXM, exclusively on “LIFE with John Mayer,” Spotify, SoundCloud, Veeps, and YouTube, and at select AMC Theatre locations in 70 US markets. iHeartRadio will serve as the national audio partner to FireAid, using its more than 860 radio stations, its digital platforms and the iHeartRadio app.
KTLA is a broadcast and streaming partner of FireAid. KTLA Vice President and General Manager Janene Drafs said the station reached out to its partners at Intuit Dome in the early stages of planning for the concert to see how we could help.
“They immediately welcomed KTLA into the conversation. From the beginning, they knew this concert needed to be about more than just the music; it also had to share the stories of the personal loss and of the heroic efforts of our First Responders,” said Drafs. “As a local news organization, we are both humbled and honored to provide footage from the fire lines and share some of the significant stories we have reported with the organizers of FireAid.  Those images captured by KTLA will be integrated into this unprecedented streaming event.”

Freddy’s Favorite Elm St. Fan Films
Hey ya’ll! Since there isn’t much new Elm Street content coming out, I thought I’d share some of my favorite fan made films. These aren’t in any particular order.
Dylan’s New Nightmare
Is a sequel to Wes Craven’s New Nightmare. The film follows a now grown up Dylan, who is working through the trauma of his childhood, and running from the entity that continues to stalk his dreams. The Entity is by far my favorite part of this film. Dave McRae really captures Freddy phenomenally in this, he adds his own flair while staying true to the character. Oh, they got Mico Hughes, who played Dylan in the first film, so what’s not to love??
Krueger: Tales from Elm Street
This is a prequel that follows Freddy from when he was the Springwood Slasher. Honestly this is more of a series, but there’s a video where you can watch all of parts together, so I’m just gonna lump it in. The thing that I love about this film is that it adds a lot to Freddy’s character. This follows the Freddy’s Dead origin, so you get to see him be a family man, while balancing being a serial killer. Also this is the movie that I watched that had a scene eerily similar to a dream I had. Not too mention my fit game was on point.
the Confession of Fred Krueger
Fred Krueger is brought in for questioning as a suspect in a string of child murders in Springwood. My favorite aspect is that you really see Freddy’s cunning nature in this.
the Last Dream of Detective Coleman
Another prequel ( there are so many prequels). This film follows Detective Coleman, and his hunt for the Springwood Slasher. The nightmare sequence. That’s all I’m gonna say, just the nightmare sequence ✨chef’s kiss✨.
