•So if you want to get technical I started watching wrestling/my earliest memory of watching wrestling was sometime around 2014, I used to watch some of the highlights with my dad whenever they were on tv but I then didn’t watch for TEN YEARS because I was too upset about the shield breaking up [im being so fr, in those ten years I couldn’t think about wrestling without getting super upset over it] [seth ‘sluttin’ rollins ily but you caused me my first trauma] BUT if you’re talking like when I started watching it ‘properly’ I’d say around 3/4 months ago!

OKAY SO I WILL ADMIT, I was scared to start binging Yuurivoice- *decides to check out the series playlists* *notices the sheer amount of playlists* "... okay maybe another time in the future-" Ended up being worth it though.

Also I tend to listen to audios just for the story but Yuuri seems to have a good balance between story and spice so kudos to him.

And um- speaking of Auron-

Auron- love everything about him, favorite pretty boy on the roster ughhh- but the connections between him, Charlie, Seth, and Alphonse were absolutely wildddddddddddd AUGH WHY DO I KEEP GETTING INTO CHANNELS WITH WEBS OF LORE I LOVE IT-

Also rq the vines? There were the vines when Charlie found DD (THE RACCOON BABYYYYYY) and then Auron in the elevator?

BITTERSWEET. I had NO idea what to expect from it, I just knew that it was super popular- and again, for good reason. This was a whole drama, so much fun to listen to and I loved it. I really liked how Seth and Alphonse looked up to Sugarboo because of how good of a person they were to them- and how tricky it might've been if Sugarboo actually did end up killing Derek.

❝ POINTZERO❞⠀MULTIVERSE !! ☆ story connections explained. 1/2

a while back I received an ask asking about the connections between my stories and the characters, so I wanted to do this for that <3

First of all, what is the "pointzero multiverse" made of? It encompasses the stories and characters I created at the age of 10 and that have evolved with me ever since. The main universe, so to speak, is "Nowhere and Everywhere", followed by its prequel, which actually tells of contemporary events, "Dog Days". In addition, we find the universe of "Before Sunrise" which although it may seem unrelated, its events are located in a large time skip after the aforementioned, like a sequel, but the other characters have almost no prominence here beyond mentions. Further back in time is "Under the Led Lights", a more cyberpunk universe, but one that still holds memories of the previous ones. And finally, we have the apocalyptic version I call "God is Dead". You could say these two are the possible distant futures; either everything leads to and evolves toward a more cybernetic future, or everything remains frozen in time while the living dead roam freely. But both keep memories and details of past characters. Now, why "pointzero"? Well, this is related to the name "Nowhere and Everywhere," that is, the place where everything and nothingness coexist at the same time, being and nonbeing (let's ignore parmenides here). So following the story that led me to all this is why I wanted to call it "PointZero Multiverse"

N&E it's my oldest story. It can be classified as a slice of life, and focuses on the lives of a group of people between 20 and 30 years old who have to face their addictions and their bad decisions while trying to overcome or accept their traumas. It is also very focused on music, love and the search for meaning in life, but with dark touches surrounding a large criminal group that seems to be everywhere controlling everything in its path. Finally, it is set in a huge crowded city where, despite there being people everywhere, the only thing you feel the most is loneliness.

With DD, we delve into the more criminal side, so to speak. It's contemporary in time with everything that happens in N&E but focuses on a completely different area of ​​the map. They're both very good at keeping secrets. You tell either of them something and want them to keep their lips sealed, they’ll never tell a soul. They’re people of their word, and keeping their word is very important to both of them. Vec keeps plenty of “secrets” because of HIPAA lol, so there’s that too.

[11] What are small things that make them happy?

Small things that make Vec happy are daisies, autumn, nailing a new makeup look, finishing a new poem, and going to the pantry and realizing she’s not out of something after thinking that she was (like peanut butter, for example).

For Eli, it would be finding a new book that he falls in love with, spring weather, hummingbirds, and the way people’s faces light up when he gives them something he baked, like cookies.

[13] What kind of sense of humor do they have, if any?

Vec’s humor is dirty, raunchy, and a bit dark at times (given the nature of her work). She also likes puns and word play.

Eli’s humor is lighter than his sister’s, a bit more silly and family-friendly than hers. He also appreciates a good pun, and he loves bad puns even more. He also likes jokes that are references to things he enjoys, like movie references.

[28] What is something that they will never be able to forgive?

The first thing that comes to mind (this is the same for both of them) is Seth (Vec’s ex before she got with Scud). He was very controlling, mentally and emotionally, and neither of them could forgive him for his treatment of her in the year they were together.

[38] What do they usually do or where do they go when they need to feel comfortable and safe?

Vec prefers company. She’d an extrovert to her core & finds comfort in being surrounded by others. However, when she’s really not doing well, she wants to be alone. That’s how people who know her know she’s not doing well. She prefers to isolate, even though that’s probably not what’s best for her. Her hyper-independence carries over into this part of her life as well. When she does want comfort from another person, she’d go to Georgie, Scud, her parents, or her siblings.

Eli is the opposite. He’s very introverted, but when he needs comfort, he’d go to his parents, siblings, significant other, friends, etc (depending on what period of his life he’s in & who’s around). He likes to be held when he needs to feel safe, so he’d be hugging and clinging to whoever is around. And those that know him best know this about him, so they’d do so with no qualms whatsoever.

[47] Do they drink alcohol, and if they do, how much and how often? (I already know this about Vec lol. This one is specifically for Eli)

Vec is a lightweight. She’s a one-and-done kinda gal (���any more than that and I start throwing ass,” she’s say). She’s usually the DD when she goes out with a group & doesn’t drink at all (answered for people who don’t already know lol).

Eli’s a social drinker. His go-to is a gin & tonic, and he’ll enjoy a couple if he’s out with friends or at another social event. He’s not really one for beer or super sweet cocktails. He’ll get tipsy, but he doesn’t like getting drunk.

[56] How would they react to hearing a dirty joke? (Once again, I know this about Vec and this is specifically for Eli lol)

Vec is usually the one making the dirty jokes lmao. If someone she’s with is making dirty jokes, she’d join in and egg them on, encouraging them to continue, especially if it’s to playfully tease someone lolol (again, answering for people who don’t know).

Eli would just roll his eyes and laugh. He’s heard many a dirty joke growing up because of Vec, so he’s used to it and is unphased for the most part lmao. But if it’s a dirty joke about him, he would not be laughing and just be a blushing mess.

[60] If they were to commit a crime, what kind of crime would it most likely be?

I would say Vec would do something like help someone steal necessities when they can’t afford it (like a mom who can’t afford formula for her baby), but really, she’d just offer to pay for it. She’s well-off in her job & can afford to do that. I guess I would pick insurance fraud (so patients could actually get services covered and get the care they need without worrying about going bankrupt).

I don’t think Eli has it in him to commit a crime (before the outbreak, that is). After the outbreak, he would do whatever he needed to do to survive & keep people with him safe. I’m trying to think of one for if I had to choose, and I just can’t pick one for him lol.

1) Last book I read:

Mistress of the Empire by Raymond Feist & Janny Wurts (at the time I started filling this out, anyway… I've been working on this ask for several days) This whole trilogy was a delight, thanks to @sixth-light for telling me I would love Mara!

2) A book I recommend:

The Best of All Possible Worlds by Karen Lord. It's a quiet little road trip romance exploring grief & diaspora, in a setting that I can best describe as 'if Madeline L'Engle had been in charge of Star Trek worldbuilding'. (If you squint you can see analogues to humans, Vulcans, Romulans, and Orions, but the tone is reminiscent of L'Engle.) There are sequels that follow different characters but this is the first one and it works as a standalone. I feel like it has a lovely light touch on some intense subjects and I appreciate the way each chapter works as a separate story while still fitting into the whole.

3) A book that I couldn’t put down:

I remember staying up past my bedtime for The Monster Baru Cormorant, I think? At the very least, that's where we first get my beloved Tau-Indi, and the pacing on the climax is kinda weird, about 2/3rds in, so I think I would have read through to it without stopping. I don't know if this question is supposed to be about compellingness or pacing? Probably compellingness, I think I'm weirdly fixated on structure when I read things. But sometimes I think books you 'can't put down' are at least partially that way because there's no damn place to breathe, and I don't entirely approve.

4) A book I’ve read twice (or more)

I see from literally everyone who has tagged me in this that this is one of the two free spaces for Wheel of Time, but I'll switch it up: Lifeboats by Diane Duane. It's set between Young Wizards 9 & 10 and deals with an emergency response team permanently evacuating an entire alien population from a natural disaster (RIP their moon and also consequently their planet). This novel is a huge comfort read for me and is undoubtedly the Young Wizards work I've read the most. I don't really know how to explain what it means to me… I wish I had had it when I was living and working in a foreign country.

Can't think of a recent one, but if I hadn't forced myself to finish reading it because it was a Hugo Award nominee, I would have DNF'd Project Hail Mary.

7) A book on my wish list

I wish for more Baru Cormorant but I also literally cannot imagine how Seth is going to write that next book. So like, I'm girding my loins for Baru #4 either 15 years from now or never.

8) A favourite book from childhood

When I was really little I loved the Berenstain Bear books and my mom HATED that I loved them ("they were so badly written!" - my mom the children's librarian) but she bought them for me anyway. That's love.

9) A book you would give a friend

You all need to read Middlemarch by George Eliot. I don't care what stage of life you're at, you will find something resonant in it. Read it now, and read it again in 20 years. Give it to recent high school grads. Give it as a wedding present. Take it to the beach. BUT I am specifically recommending it to the WoT contingent, because the characters are so good!

10) The most books you own by a single author

It's actually either Diane Duane or Terry Pratchett, and DD's probably winning because I don't have every Pratchett book but I do have almost every DD book including tie-in novels.

11) A nonfiction book you own

Four Lost Cities: A Secret History of the Urban Age by Annalee Newitz. I don't read a ton of nonfiction but the writing is very engaging and I think cities are neat.

12) what are you currently reading

I'm between books but I just finished The Imposition of Unnecessary Obstacles (as I am writing this part several days after question 1). I didn't like it as much as the first one, The Mimicking of Known Successes, but I think it's just a taste thing. I didn't like being in Pleiti's POV very much, her overthinking is too much like mine and it alternately stresses me out and makes me angry, because I can see the assumptions/unhelpful thought patterns but I can't fix them. Obviously, to draw that reaction from me the characters are well-defined, and I like everything else about the series, I just hope it goes back to Mossa's POV.

13) what are you planning on reading next?

WHEN WILL 'RED SIDE STORY' BY JASPER FFORDE REACH MY HOUSE??? I have been waiting like 15 years for this sequel to Shades of Grey and the entire point of preordering it was so I could have it ASAP. I could have walked into a bookstore on May 9th and walked out with it, and instead I won't get it until tomorrow. >:(

I think I am supposed to add a shelfie? The organizing principles(s) of this shelf in my bedroom are very weird…. Classics/adventure, fantasy, popular science writing? Someday I need to reshelve everything in the house according to size/favoriteness/genre/theme/vibes (in that order) but I haven’t felt like it.

So the guest list was announced a month ago and I am presuming it's been planned for a good while. I think Seth has been booked deliberately for extra promo for TOWL to coincide with the finale and new projects are usually announced for TWD off the back of the premier or finales of the spin offs. Perhaps an announcement is going to be made regarding Emily if there is a legit reason for her being there rather than just being another guest at the convention. It's too weird timing wise with the finale and the location being France where DD is being filmed. I just wonder if there's going to be some kind of crossover with DD as common denominator with Emily.

I agree 100% this was all planned for Emily and Seth to be there at that exact time. I hope it’s because she’s showing up in the finale or we will find out she’s alive! I have to be honest I’m always skeptical. I’ve been a part of TD since Season 6 and there’s been a lot of times we thought “This is it!” and been wrong so I always have my guard up. BUT between the Daryl Dixon spinoff and TOWL I feel like there’s actually a really good chance we could be right this time. Only time will tell! 🤞🏼
