When I first saw that my prompt was the movie Peter Pan I was stoked and planned to do something about Dean’s missing childhood and being a lost boy. Then I went looking for quotes from the movie and came across this page and found this quote under the Lost Boys section. This quote was like a gut punch when I found it. I haven’t seen the movie since I was a kid, but I can remember this scene and it totally fits Dean.

So, here, have some Dean and Mary and Dean’s lost childhood feelings.

Event: Dean Creations Challenge Prompt: Leather Jacket Warnings: None Photo/GIF credits go to the original maker/owner “Y/N?” Dean yelled from our room in the bunker. Sam was out on a date, leaving us alone. It was quiet and nice for a change. Having this down time was something that we all desperately needed. I padded down the hall to the bedroom so I wouldn't have to shout. Right when I walked through the door, Dean yelled again, “Baby!?” “No need to shout,” I laughed, making him jump. He grinned, “Sorry. You seen my leather jacket?” I tilted my head, trying to think, “Hmmm, did you search the closet?” “Yeah, I can't find that damn thing anywhere,” he said, getting down on his hands and knees to look under the bed. Going to the closet, I pushed all his shirts to the farthest side and carefully began to search myself. “Why do you need it? It's the middle of summer,” I said. I felt his hesitation before he spoke, “I left something important in one of the pockets,” “Okaay…” I drew out, “Can you be more specific?” “A- a spell. Yeah, that's it. A spell and the ingredients. Real important for a case Garth is on,” “Garth is hunting again?” I paused and turned to face Dean. He was digging through one of the dresser drawers. Dean nodded, closing it and moving to the next. “But, I thought he was taking a break since Bess is pregnant?” Dean’s back tensed, “He uh, caught wind of something nearby… said he wanted to take care of it before she gave birth,” I shook my head at his demeanor and continued looking. A box caught my attention and I picked it up. It had a little weight to it, so I popped the lid and smiled at the photographs that were haphazardly thrown in there. “Look what I found!” I said, going to sit on the bed. Dean sat slightly behind me, his chin resting on my shoulder. “Holy shit,” he laughed, looking at the photo that I had picked out. It was of Dean and I, sitting on the hood of baby. We were younger, Dean wearing his beloved leather jacket. His arm was around my shoulder, mine around his waist. “ ‘member when this was taken?” he asked softly. My fingers traced our younger selves, “Yeah… you asked me out after the salt and burn.” He nodded, his stubble scratching my shoulder lightly, “Hmmmhum. You kicked ass that night,” I rolled my eyes as I put down that photo and grabbed another, “Please. If it weren't for you and Sam, I'd be a goner,” The next picture I grabbed was around the same time frame, Dean still in his leather jacket. “I think this was taken at the fair. The one with the creepy ass clowns,” I shuddered at the thought. I felt Dean's deep chuckle. He coughed when I elbowed him. “Jerk,” I giggled. “Bitch,” He retorted. I knew it was in jest, but to be on the safe side, Dean kissed my shoulder. “Ohhh man!” He grabbed the next photo, “Remember this one?!” It was of me in nothing but his leather jacket and panties reclining on baby in a seductive pose. I blushed at the memory. “How could I forget?” That night, Dean rocked my world and we had christened baby for the first time. “Best damn birthday present ever,” Dean sighed happily, giving my thigh a hearty squeeze. “Ya know, once I find that damn jacket, we should definitely relive this moment,” I scoffed, “Yeah, right,” I felt insecure. Looking at these photos, seeing how young and scar free I was, made me realize just how much I'd aged. Dean aged like a fine wine, while I, on the other hand, felt like a hag. “Y/N,” he warned. I shook my head and grabbed another photo. This one seemed to have put another damper on my mood… it was of Dean, right before he died and went to hell. That was a dark, dark time for all of us. I felt Dean's chest expand with a deep breath as he took the picture from my fingers, “Let's just put this away, okay?” I watched Dean as he rose from the bed, took the box from me, covered it and put it back in the closet. He sat in front of me, rubbing my legs, “Hey, I'm here, you're here, Sammy’s out on a date; we're happy and all in a good place, right?” I blinked slowly and agreed with him, “You're right… I hate getting stuck in my head. It's a scary,” Dean lightened the mood by snorting, “Don't I know it?” Reaching for the pillow behind me, I whacked him with it and laughed, “Asshole,” He took the soft hit like a champ and pulled me onto his lap, “There, that's better,” With my arms around his shoulders, I played with the hairs on the nape of his neck. “We need more nights like this,” I said. I felt Dean's hands slip under my shirt, moving up and down, eliciting a soft sigh from me. He licked his lips and nodded. He spoke softly, the deep timber of his voice so soothing to me, “I was thinking the same thing. It's nice not having to worry about monsters or nightmares for once.” “So do you want to keep looking for that jacket, or do you have something else in mind?” Pulling me closer to him, he kissed my neck, “I definitely have something else in mind,”
