The thing that will always be funny to me about TNG's Darmok - and the thing that gets funnier the further into 21st century meme culture we get - is that their explanation of the Children of Tama/Tamarian language is so early 90s. "Juliet on her balcony" is the example Troi gives.

But if the Tamarians hadn't been introduced until Lower Decks, a show created after the proliferation of memes as an online language, the explanation would have probably involved all the characters making their usual in-universe references, but just in the form of Starfleet memes.

Mariner: Worf, his hair unkempt, his bat'leth bloody! Boimler: ...what?

Boimler, being a nerd, would still be trying to do the "Juliet on her balcony" style examination of the language while everyone else spins out on the memes.

Capricorn Rising and their angular houses 💘🌸

Angular houses are the most important in an astrological chart. It represents our fundamental core selves, the parts in which we work with consistently in life, and what we value the most. Pokemon Horizons Headcanon: The Pokemon of the Brave Olivine have semi-regular poker nights using a deck of cards that Murdock thinks he lost somewhere in the Orange Islands. They play for berries, of course. Cap is actually really bad at it (he unfortunately has a really obvious tell where he adjusts the brim of his hat whenever he has a bad hand. he is aware of this but has made no meaningful efforts to change his habits) but shows up for every game anyway. Muk refuses to play whenever Hatenna/Hattrem joins in on the grounds that her empathic abilities would make it impossible to bluff (no matter how much everyone insists that sensing strong emotions with no off-switch doesn't make for an accurate lie detector).
