CRIMSON SHADE

Chapter 08
Set Fire to the Rain
But I set fire to the rain
Watched it pour as I touched your face.
- ( The song of this Chapter is 'Set Fire to the Rain' by Adele.)
What's one supposed to say when she is trapped in a box with her family's sworn enemy, with his thumb pressed against her pulse point as he promises to ruin her?
Probably nothing.
It would also probably be a sane move not to provoke him further.
But not today.
Today she hovers on the brink of insanity.
"Either you want to ruin me or you want to make me work for you. Choose your poison, Mr. Raizada," the words are ice chips, melting in her mouth.
She squares her shoulders. Her fingers wrap around his wrist one by one as she removes his hand from her skin. His palm glides along her neck. The roughness drags along. It burns. She grits her teeth to stop the tingling in her fingertips as they brush against his forearm when she lets his wrist go. Her red glass bangles clink softly against her quivering wrist.
"And if you’re going to ruin me, you better make it worth my while. Because I'm sure as hell not going to work for you under a threat," she lets out, emphasising the word 'threat'.
His eyes are radioactive, seeping into her bones and poisoning her core.
He leans in, bringing his lips close to her ear. She balls her fist to tame down a shiver that's threatening to run wild, as his stubble whispers against her cheek. Rose petals bloom across the skin, making her weightless.
"One day, Miss Gupta," his breath feathers over her ear. "I am going to collect that debt I owe you.'' His words are ghosts, lurking in the shadows. "....and you know what?" His voice grazes over her skin like sand against slik; coarse, raw and primal. "........ You are going to enjoy repaying me."
She can't breathe. Whatever retorts she's formed in her mind are on the floor. Warm floods her skin as a sudden rage fills every fibre of her being. Her hands tremble as she clenches them into fists, nails digging into her palms.
The nerve of him!
The words replay in her mind, burning like a wildfire she can’t put out. Her fingertips burn with the desire to do something. Anything. She wants to hurt him, wants to shake that cold indifference off his face. She hates that about him the most, how he never loses control, never falters. She tries to breathe, to calm herself, but the knot in her chest only tightens.
He straightens up, holding her hazels in his caramel-browns and takes a few steps back to reach the opposite side. He dials a number and brings the phone to his ear without leaving her hazels, not even for a single second.
"We are done."
The elevator dings open, somewhere she doesn't know. She doesn't care at all. She is too busy taming the wildfire raging through her bones.
And with the ghost of a sardonic smirk, he strides down the empty hallway while she drills a hole in his back with her fiery gaze.
Oh no, we are not so done.
Why is Mr. 'we-are-done' so adamant about collecting a debt that she doesn't even consider one at all?
He is still that encrypted code she can’t crack. A code she has no desire to decode.
No, that's not true. She wants to burn the code. She wants to overwrite it, hack all the data and leak all of them over the network. She wanted to erase every trace of him and let all his data dissolve into static.
She doesn’t know if it’s possible to feel this level of hate that is coursing through her body.
No, no, no. They are not done.
Not yet.
When she exits the lift in the basement, she notices the crowd gathered, waiting for the elevator, and the electrician working frantically to ensure everything is alright. A restaurant executive rushes toward her, profusely apologizing for the inconvenience. She just smiles and says she's fine.
No harm done.
Not externally.
Then she realizes someone has rendered her ride back invalid. Very rudely.
She signs, attempting to call an Uber. She certainly isn't going to call Mr.Jha and explain the situation to him. She decides to wait in the lobby for her Uber.
Meanwhile, the sky keeps rumbling and the first drops of rain begin to fall, light at first, then more insistent. The soft pitter-patter turns into a steady rhythm. She watches as the rain pours down in sheets, blurring the view of the streetlights and cars, the cityscape dissolving behind a curtain of water.
Her fingers twitch slightly at her sides, wanting to reach out and touch the raindrops. The pull to step out into the rain consumes her. She envisions the water sliding down her arms, soaking her clothes until they cling to her like a second skin. The rain, pure and untamed, would wash away her chains, make her feel free.
Her phone rings. Her Uber is here.
The Uber moves slowly, cutting through the rain. The world seems distant, almost dreamlike. She leans slightly against the window, tracing the droplets that race down the glass. Her gaze flicks to the side mirror when she senses another car trailing behind, its headlights dimmed but unmistakably following her every turn. Her breath hitches as the car maintains a steady pace, neither speeding up nor lagging behind. It’s a sleek black vehicle, but the heavy downpour prevents her from seeing the license plate or the car model.
The wipers move in a rhythmic sweep over the windshield, almost in sync with the beating of her heart. There's an eerie precision in the way it follows, unhurried but deliberate, as if its driver has all the time in the world. Her fingers tighten around her phone.
She looks down at her phone, contemplating whom to call. She spares another glance outside, but the car has vanished into the rain. She lets out a sigh of relief, the tension in her shoulders easing as she chides herself for being unnecessarily paranoid.
The Uber entered a quiet, secluded stretch of a road and suddenly, the vehicle came to an abrupt halt, jolting her in the seat.
“What happened?”
“The tyre is punctured, ma’am. Just give me a few minutes. I’ll change it,” the driver replies, his tone apologetic as he steps out into the rain.
She sighs. It's a long night indeed. On this side of the city, she won't even find another transport. She glances at her phone. And, oh shit, it's dead. Fantastic.
The sound of laughter filters through the closed windows, drawing her gaze outside. Little boys and girls splash joyfully in the puddles, their feet kicking up water in playful abandon while their laughter echoes in the air. Their bodies move with a freedom she can't help but envy. Her fingers twitch as she watches them. Their carefree innocence tugs at the corners of her soul, begging her to let go. And with her heart in between her palms, she gives in and steps out of the car.
The rain cascades around her like a curtain of shimmering diamonds as it seeps into her hair and clothes. She extends her hand and clutches a fistful of rain. She feels the raindrops on her fingertips. They slide in, weaving their way through her fingers, into her palm. She looks up feeling the cool droplets kissing her skin. For one infinite moment, she feels free.
Her lips stretch as a laugh bubbles up inside. With a childlike giggle, she kicks off her heels, letting them tumble to the ground, and joins the children in their rhythmless dance. The puddles became her stage and the rain an enchanting symphony, drumming against the earth. The tinkling of her glass bangles joins in, singing the melody of joy.
Her skin starts burning as she feels the weight of being watched, but she is too lost in the magic of the moment to care.
She twirls and leaps, her movements mirroring the carefree abandon of the children, their laughter harmonizing with the whispers of the rain. The raindrops fold her into their arms and smile against her skin while the cold wind wraps around, braiding a soft magic through her hair.
The world around her transforms, where the rain is her elixir, dissolving chains around her. The raindrops become her feathers, glistening as they cling to her skin. They are the air under her wings, lifting her higher and higher. With each twirl and each spin, she sheds the shackles and spreads the wings like the bird she was born to be.
Lost in the rhythm of her movements, she loses her footing and slips, but instead of falling, a strong arm wraps around her as she collides into a hard chest. An Armani-clad chest.
In Charcoal black.
The world is eerily quiet and time becomes a broken hourglass bleeding seconds through sands, slipping beyond her reach as her fingers wrap around his lapel. The warmth radiating from him contrasts with the cool rain. Her heart grows wings. Fluttering, flapping, soaring.
She looks up, swallowing the nothing in her throat, to meet the brown orbs, to see how they look soaked in the rain.
And they are magnificent.
His browns change colours, sometimes it's like moulted chocolate, sometimes caramel brown, sometimes caramel and chocolate mixed together.
Yet, always bottomless, like the deepest part of the ocean.
Right now, they are liquid gold, swirling with the rich hue of dark chocolate and moulted amber. The raindrops clinging to his lashes sparkle like jewels in the streetlight.
The rain continues to pour down, creating a cocoon over them. Piercing the veil comes a foreign voice.
"Sir, do you have any extra tyres to lend? Mine is jammed."
It startles both of them as they push away from each other, reacting like they’ve just touched something scorching hot. And then, she remembers, where she is, who she is and who he is, everything.
"Yes, I have one in the trunk," he replies, without abandoning her eyes. He racks his fingers through his rain-soaked hair. Her fingers ache to follow the same path.
Yet.
"No, no need," she says firmly, clenching her fingers into a tight ball and turns toward the driver. "You don't have to take me any further. I'll manage myself. Let me just get my purse."
"You have a very stubborn passenger, I see."
"Oh, thanks for the compliment, Mr. Raizada, but I can't afford any of your debts."
She turns angrily to reach the car, but his hand shoots out, grabbing her wrist.
A thunderclap echoes, so does her scream.
The glass bangles shatter, digging into her skin, drawing blood. She clutches at her wrist, closing her eyes tightly to breathe through the sudden pain. Crimson dripping from the breech.
"Fuck," a crack in his calm, controlled demeanour appears before it vanishes in thin air. "Let me see."
A soft murmur.
But she draws her hand away.
"I said let me see," this time a little forceful.
"No thanks!!! Keep away from me," She snaps through gritted teeth, but it comes out like a broken yell. Tears of anger, pain, and frustration roll down her cheeks, intermingled with the rain. The night is just not ending anytime soon. She starts walking toward the car.
The rain has slowed down to a light drizzle. He tosses the car keys to the driver and commands, "Be quick."
Without uttering another word, he grabs her other wrist, careful of the bangles this time and all but drags her toward his car, which is parked behind the Uber. When they reach the passenger side, she jerks her wrist free.
He opens the car door, causing the interior light to illuminate the surroundings. "Don't talk to me like that".
Her eyes narrow, his unyielding.
He reaches out to grab her injured wrist, but she takes a step back. Yet he reaches out once more, grabbing her forearm and bringing her wrist under the light. She tries to snatch her wrist free.
The more he attempts to see her wound, the more she tries to break free. At the end of the tug-of-war, he growls, "Khushi." A warning.
That stops her.
Because she've never heard her first name falling from his lips before.
Nobody says her name like this.
His lips wrap around the word.
His rasp caresses every syllable.
She winces slightly as he inspects her wound, her delicate wrist imprisoned in his colossal fingers, a fragile bird caught in the grip of a storm. A broken shard of glass lies embedded in her skin. Without saying anything he lowers his head, his teeth grip the jagged piece and pull it out. Her heart races in her wrist, pulsing in her fingers.
A delicate whimper escapes her lips, as fragile as the flicker of lightning under the dark cloud above.
His eyes lock instantly onto hers as he spits the glass piece out. His tongue peeks out to lick his lips, tasting the crimson that lingers there.
Red paints her cheeks, spreading to her neck, down to her chest, as he cleans her wound and wraps it in fresh gauze from his glove box.
"We are ready to go, ma'am," the driver's voice floats from somewhere in this misty haze as he hands the keys back.
"I'll be there in a minute," her words split in half as she replies.
Her hazels bore into his browns. He crosses her arms. His face is empty except for a slight lift, resembling a smile, playing on his lips. She says nothing. With one last gaze, she walks away, telling herself not to look behind. And she succeeds.
When the Uber starts to move along the streets, she sees a familiar, sleek black car trailing her. Again. The same one that has been trailing her before. But this time it doesn't turn her blood cold. Her blood is lava, coursing through her veins.
The car follows her till she reaches her house. It doesn't come close. It stops half a mile from the main gate. Two guards manning the entrance look at her before they open the gate. The Uber rolls inside and she stares back till she can see no more.

Decoding Art: Understanding the Symbolism in Famous Paintings

Art has always been a language of its own, with each stroke of the brush and every hue on the canvas conveying a story, emotion, or message. But beyond the surface beauty lies a deeper layer of meaning waiting to be deciphered. In this exploration, we delve into the realm of symbolism in famous paintings, unraveling the secrets hidden within the masterpieces that have captivated audiences for centuries.
Unveiling Symbolism: A Glimpse Into the Artist's Mind
Every great painting is a window into the soul of the artist, a reflection of their inner thoughts and beliefs. Symbolism serves as the bridge between the tangible and the intangible, allowing artists to imbue their work with layers of meaning that transcend the visual realm.
Take, for example, Leonardo da Vinci's "Mona Lisa," arguably one of the most enigmatic paintings in history. Beyond the serene smile of the subject lies a wealth of symbolism, from the mysterious landscape in the background to the intricate details of her clothing. Some scholars believe that the painting contains hidden messages or clues, inviting viewers to unravel its secrets.
Similarly, Vincent van Gogh's "Starry Night" is not merely a depiction of a night sky but a profound expression of the artist's inner turmoil and emotional turbulence. The swirling patterns and vivid colors evoke a sense of movement and intensity, reflecting van Gogh's struggles with mental illness and his relentless quest for inner peace.
Deciphering the Language of Colors and Shapes
In the world of art, every color carries its own significance, evoking different emotions and associations. From the passionate reds of love and desire to the calming blues of tranquility and serenity, artists use color to convey mood, atmosphere, and meaning.
For instance, in Pablo Picasso's "Guernica," the use of stark black and white contrasts with splashes of bold primary colors creates a sense of chaos and despair, capturing the horror of war and the human suffering it entails. The jagged shapes and distorted figures further emphasize the sense of unease and dislocation, inviting viewers to confront the harsh realities of conflict.
Shapes and symbols also play a crucial role in conveying meaning in art. From the graceful curves of the human form to the geometric precision of architectural elements, every shape carries its own symbolism and significance. In Grant Wood's "American Gothic," for example, the triangular composition of the figures mirrors the austerity and rigidity of rural life, while the pitchfork held by the stern-faced farmer symbolizes hard work and resilience in the face of adversity.
Beyond the Canvas: Exploring Cultural and Historical Context
Understanding the symbolism in famous schilderij requires more than just a discerning eye; it also demands an appreciation of the cultural and historical context in which they were created. Art does not exist in a vacuum but is deeply intertwined with the social, political, and philosophical currents of its time.
For instance, the religious symbolism found in Renaissance art reflects the dominant role of the Church in shaping European society and culture during that period. Paintings such as Michelangelo's "The Creation of Adam" or Botticelli's "The Birth of Venus" are not merely artistic representations but also reflections of the religious beliefs and values of the era.
Similarly, the rise of symbolism in the late 19th and early 20th centuries was closely linked to the broader cultural shifts taking place in Europe. Artists such as Gustav Klimt and Edvard Munch sought to explore the depths of the human psyche and the mysteries of existence through their work, often using symbolism as a means of expressing inner truths and universal themes.
The Power of Symbolism: From the Gallery to Your Home
While decoding the symbolism in famous paintings can be a fascinating intellectual exercise, it also has practical implications for art enthusiasts and collectors. Understanding the deeper meaning behind a painting can enhance your appreciation of it and deepen your emotional connection to the artwork.
Moreover, the symbolism in a painting can also influence its value and significance in the art market. Paintings with rich layers of symbolism and historical context are often prized by collectors and museums alike, commanding high prices at auction and garnering widespread acclaim from critics and scholars.
If you're inspired to explore the world of symbolism in art further, why not consider adding a painting to your own collection? Whether you're drawn to the mystical allure of the Renaissance or the avant-garde experimentation of the modernists, there's a wealth of symbolism waiting to be discovered in the world of painting. So why not take the plunge and buy a painting that speaks to your soul?
Conclusion: Unlocking the Secrets of Symbolism
In the vast tapestry of art history, symbolism serves as the thread that binds past and present, artist and viewer, in a timeless dance of meaning and interpretation. From the iconic smile of the "Mona Lisa" to the haunting beauty of "Starry Night," the world of painting is rich with symbols waiting to be deciphered and stories waiting to be told.
So the next time you find yourself standing before a famous painting, take a moment to look beyond the surface and delve into the hidden depths of symbolism. You may be surprised by what you discover and the new perspectives it brings to your understanding of art and the world around you.
And if you're feeling inspired to bring a piece of that magic into your own life, why not buy a painting that speaks to you? Whether it's a classic masterpiece or a contemporary work of art, the symbolism contained within its brushstrokes can enrich your home and your heart for years to come.

Please do an Adam's love revival walkthrough if you can
Hello~
I made a “walkthrough”, but I don’t think it’s correct. I can post my notes… Also, this time the gacha has a free spin every day so you can easily get the affection points!
WIth the choices I picked, I needed 12 more points (and I tried twice with different choices).
I also suspect this will become a revival event some day, so I can finish it when that time comes instead. I believe that will be better.

Into the Zone: Gentleman of the Cursed Pendant
He had been raised to respect others, no matter what their life had been. It was his late mother’s decree to welcome anyone on his expeditions of ancient artifacts that, of course, would be sold at auction. The buyer would take their new fancy mirror or chest, or even an old book that no one could read.
A life he grew up in that promised wealth, as long as no secrets got out. Asking his mother when he was 16 led to no answers, she only told him that everything would be revealed when he was of age. Mother’s temper was not to be trifled with, so the burning questions of the secrets she held was never repeated.
Then tragedy had struck, his mother burned at the stake by some villagers, accusing her of being a witch. Magic didn’t exist, and he swore to cut them down one by one, to avenge Mother’s gentle soul. They would feel what she felt, the burning and searing of one’s flesh as they couldn’t do anything with their hands and feet tied to a post. He almost did, until a letter had been found on the door to his mother’s study, a room he had no intention of entering again.
Mother’s graceful curving penmanship of his name on the front, he carefully unfolded the latter, breaking the wax seal. The wording, a familiar bore. Latin.
He could renunciate the language well, almost second nature, but for some odd reason he always had issue writing it. Mother had been adamant about learning Latin, no matter the use of the old scripture. Slowly, and carefully, so no to misunderstand what she wrote.
My son, it pains me to say that my relationship with the town folk has gone astray. They no longer trust my medicinal expertise, as the new age of scientific medicine has grown more secure. The men even questioned my faith to the church! Such so much doubt against the old ways that have kept us all alive and safe. I feel there is an attack heading my way. I fear we may be run out of town, but as long as my last flesh and blood stays alive, then I will risk my own as a trade.
Do not blame the people. It is human nature to question when one finds a better technique compared to another that has been taught for centuries. Beyond my door is the age of potions and herbs, please remember what I’ve taught you. Everything you need is there. Remember to always listen to what the people don’t say. That will help guide your instincts on what is best.
Love, Christina White, your mother
Within that room, different symbols covered the walls, and in cases like that of a prized stand are artifacts that the towns folk believed to be cursed. Mother had taken them, to protect them. He had no belief of curses. Just coincidence.
All of that had been a decade prior, and he wished he taken his mother’s teachings more seriously. Especially in consideration of a group of men that he’d been warned about. They always bid the highest on the older books. He watches another boosted bid over an old Norse tome.
Out of curiosity, he’d follow up on the buyers, that way if a particular set of artifacts are found, and is in their interest, he can invite them. This group of gentlemen, bout these old books to study and decode them in their own private library. Also stating, that understanding what is written would help humanities survival. Despite that, they still had him on edge, something just wasn’t right.
At the end of the auction, a large diamond had been revealed, truly it seemed more like a sapphire but what could he say? He’s no expert.
The bid did not go as expected. Instead of multiple bids, only a few. Instead of high bids, no one started bidding until the price was dropped.
he guesses that there’s always something to be desired; much like himself, he’s not too interested in jewels. The auctioneer only glances at him in askance of what to do. He nods indicating to start with a blank slate, and even then, there had been a few hands. Eventually, it was sold to a little lady. The youngest daughter of his mother’s dearest friend.
The auction concluded, which was held in his own yard, for it was the only place big enough withing the growing town. As he greeted with the buyers to accept their money, he heard whispers of the older folk, that death with befall the daughter. The younger folk rolled their eyes at the old wive’s tale of the cursed legend of deaths surrounding the blue diamond to people’s greed.
A week had gone by, and the girl still lives, making a cranky granny swear up a storm to keep their daughter safe. She was brushed aside. As late of a morning as it was, a strange ship had appeared in the bay, the captain asking for work. hearing the captain’s words, he greeted the man, he had his own crew setting sail in the morning for a northern island that is rumored of hiding a treasure cave.
The captain did not believe him at first, until he caught sight of the blue diamond, and head the make-believe story of the little girls. her father, casually thanking him for finding the gem. The blue gem now surrounded by white diamonds lay in a gold pendant, hanging around the little girl’s neck. The captain, realizing the genuine offer, accepted and left to tell his crew of the good news.
A sudden banging on his front door, had the gentleman stumbling to find his old friend shaking in the pouring rain. Raising his hand to welcome the father of the little girl inside, instead the pendant landed on his palm. His friend yelling about the truth of the curse.
Now, the sun had risen, nobody could describe what had happened to the young girl, so full of life, now dead. The rumors spread and the older folk began their prayers of peace for the little girl. the expedition left and months later, only half the crew of both ships had returned, both blaming the curse of the pendant which he’d had given to his captain. They all refused to touch where it lay, he had to climb aboard to get it back.
Three other owners had accepted it as a gift, and each one returned to his possession. A fourth gifted it to their wife to become a family heirloom. After a month in had it yet to return, he’d been happy it gained a home. Returning to the next plan for the month and organizing the artifacts gained for auction.
Suddenly startled at the sound of glass breaking, he stared into the gas lamp before deciding to check for the disturbance. In his foyer, he’d found a broken window and, on the ground, laid a brown package. Setting the lamp down, he began to unwrap only to once again find the pendant. Picking it up carefully, the chain dangling over his hands as he looked over the coloring, a spot calls to him, a discoloring of the gem.
Grabbing the lamp, he hurries over to his desk and sits with a sigh. The mystery of the pendant ever growing as he tried to find the spot just moments before, and then his vision bleeds, blood splatter coats the pendant. Dropping it in surprise, he leans back, rubbing his eyes to clear what he thinks he just saw. Looking back at it again, blood no longer covering it.
He goes to bed, believing he’d tired and not the work of a curse.
One month goes by, two months, three and four. He still lives and decides for the safety of others he’ll keep it safe in his study.
There had been a riot in town, the kind demanding more payment to live in his territory, and the people begged him to give the kind the cursed diamond. He refused, not wanting anyone else to die. They called him selfish, they called for witchcraft, sighting the death of his mother as proof of his heritage.
He gave away all of his other possession to appease both the town and ultimately the king. He moved into a smaller home, the cursed diamond remaining with him.
Soon, the new town had heard of who he was and what he had and within a fortnight a citizen had broken into his home, killing him in his sleep. Silent screams dying with is soul as he pleads with his dying breath to not touch the diamond.
His vision blurs, his balance off as he struggles to a mirror, but something tugs on him. A tension with that forces him to follow it. The pendant, in his murderer’s hands, seems to glow with white tendrils leaking out of the blue gem, he focuses on that, the only thing familiar in his confusion.
Then he’d awake next to the diamond, in a luxurious castle, in a bustling town compared to the rolling hills he left. The king reaches for it, and he tried to stop him, but his hand only goes through the king’s wrist.
Years roll by, and as he continues to stop people from taking one a curse, he grows stronger, making his form appear to those of the castle. They began to call him ‘The Gentleman of the Cursed Pendant’, as he had not been able to stop everyone from touching it.
Time slowed to a standstill, technology increased, lights shined in bathrooms and studies, an era where everyone could afford the more prestigious inventions. Carriages turned horseless and moved with a different power.
He still prevented others from touching the cursed diamond.
The inhabitants passed down his story, often changing it from the truth, until one fateful day when a group of three gentlemen of London sheltered from a raging storm. The castle that once housed a king, now a place of rest, the pendant hung on the wall in a picture frame. One of them reached for it, which he was prepared to intervene when the maid of the inn halted them, telling his story. The three took it seriously.
That night as the storm rolls through, the diamond has been taken and placed in a large library, weapons lined the walls.
The most profound thing was the men talking about him. How he came from a long line of witches that normally worked as medicine women, nurses, or maids. The ladies of the family knew who had the gifts and the last of the line was a boy weak with power, but also with just enough where curses didn’t affect him. He wanted to fight back from the accusations that got his mother killed, but for some reason, he couldn’t. So, he stayed, patient and waiting.
The group seemed to know what they were doing, as they never touched the gem directly. The circle, in salt, surrounded him on a wooden floor began to burn, a fire rising around him. How own figure actively disappearing in a rush of heat. he witnessed his own hand reaching for the diamond, as that too burned away, followed by a black abyss.
An eternity, as he thought, and remember his life and both of his deaths, and the damned cursed pendant that he could feel the chained wrapped around his hand. The capability of imagining it being pulled out of his pocked like that of a watch and seeing all the death that the pendant had caused.
He could feel his eyes open, and in that haunting darkness, a swirling green sky met his now gray eyes. Bringing his hand up to shield some of the brightness from his new sight he found the pendant in his hand. The glowing blue gem spoke to him, and he chuckled, now gaining the truth behind the curse. That chuckle grew louder, deeper, and longer. He’s a ghost, again, but this time, a different breed.

important question
did the chicken come first or the egg?
and a *insert foot emoji bc I can't find it* your favourite quote and I'll have fun trying to decode it✌️
according to science the egg will come first and the chicken next but who laid the eggs? My answer, which is highly based on Adam and Eve's concept is that two chickens came first then mated and got eggs and tadaaaa chickens
🥾 I'll tell you something random about my life
mmm, I'm assuming you're using this to ask abt my favourite quote. It's "your greatest desire is your past" I saw it on Pinterest

Lessons I learned from the Games
Most of this is just silly, some are actual lessons.
SCK/SCK2:
If you’re going to get murdered, get revenge by leaving clues to the blackmail you have on potential suspects and hope to god someone figures it out
If you’re investigating a crime, being a random transfer student at the end of the year is probably not the way to go, but no one cares because they’re too busy with college applications.
If your niece is coming to your place to investigate a murder and you’re not there, the least you can do is set up a cage to trap any possible break-ins.
Nothing beats being able to hold a gun to the murderer #whySCKremastered???
Teens dealing with pressures to meet college and parental demands
Teens resorting to drugs
Teens dealing with sexism that’s found in abundance in college and work environments
Teachers not giving a shit about what students are going through.
STFD:
If you’re getting death threats, play it cool. Keeps the perps unhinged
Toxicity of fan culture
Throw all CEOs into the closet
Nothing beats Jazz
If you’re going to commit crime in an actor’s community, you must do it with flare
MHM:
If you’re going to buy a Victorian mansion, the least you can do is check for ghosts. And also hire a carpenter beforehand
Never invest your life’s savings into anything
Treat those who help you with basic decency (my god Rose!)
If you’re snooping on someone, don’t give them any indication that you’re onto them
If someone slips a threatening message under your door, open the door.
Victorian houses have all sorts of booby traps, FIND THEM.
TRT:

Learn French
Don’t leave incriminating evidence that reveals your lies
There is no such thing as too much food
Women in history have been badly treated by (male) historians.
It’s called the past for a reason
Turn a bad situation into an opportunity to learn
If you’re going to do crime, at least ensure you have an escape route that’s not blocked by the snow
Don’t date people who pressure you to marry them/ask you to prove your love for them
FIN:
As a woman, if you want anyone to take you seriously and help, you have to be adamant, sassy, and everything men don’t like to see in women.
If you’re a POC, the chances of the police helping you decreases
Capitalism sucks

DOG:
This game is why it’s important to put your dog(s) on a leash! (insert that dog vine: “it don’t bite. Yes it do!”)
If we didn’t have uptight rangers, the parks would be burnt to smithereens
Misogyny exists in the woods
People who are just trying to do their job always get a bad rap even though it’s because of them the park still exists!
Gangsters are bad, but also low-key cool
Get back at your enemies by making a fake grave of them
Old people have interesting stories
Gold can release arsenic into water
Always check well water before using
Wood mice are bad for health
If you’re going to get tied up and tossed into your tool shed, keep a scythe on hand
Go birdwatching at night
Torque is a fancy word for screw driver
If you’re a POC, people are most likely to suspect you.
CAR:
There is no job security if you end up in hospital
Sometimes you really need a 2000 calorie sundae
If you went to jail, people are most likely to suspect you first
Don’t spy on your co-workers

It’s really important to have good communication between partners

CLK:
if you’re going to presume someone’s identity, you better nail the part down hard
don’t blow up the kitchen when there’s only three people in the house and you were the closest and last one in the kitchen
emotional manipulation
gas lighting
if someone mentions stolen jewellery, putting back what you stole just incriminates you
even if you have psychic abilities, don’t be an ass bout it
no one ever tips because no one like the system. Pay your employees what they deserve!
Even though the depression’s going on, people are still dumping money in psychic lessons and dress making
No one ever gives anything away for free
