I think I might be an angel, and the thought scares me.

I'm not religious and never have been– I don't believe in, serve, or feel any attachment to a god or deity, but something in me is still drawn to the concept of divinity, purity, holiness. I feel like my purpose is to watch over the world, to guide humanity through their struggles and teach them what is right.

I'm worried that to call myself angelkin would be appropriating something I know very little of, and I truly would hate to offend. But I can't deny the phantom wings on my back. Can divinity and atheism coexist?

I'm not sure what to do. Advice/reassurance/feedback of any kind would be appreciated. I feel so lost.

i like how this jjk episode flashes to stills that reflect the characters’ thoughts, like nanami seeing haibara’s corpse when looking at ijichi or mei mei seeing gojo when she’s thinking about him potentially working with geto. it barely gives the viewer time to comprehend what’s happening and makes it eerier, while simultaneously mimicking the characters’ exact train of thought

Taka is the son of a cop and a devote believer in god following his family’s fall from society. He turns to his studies and then an angel called for him to begin his service.

This angel is Raguel, the angel of Justice.

His mission is to retrieve Mondo’s soul from damnation and set him towards the path that will lead to the destined battle for the Earth. Of course, no one expected that the angel and the human would fall in love with said soul.

He is now a prophet of the lord being protected by a hunter from an infamous family, Kirigiri, and a human vessel named Togami that is currently hosting the demon prince, Mammon. The demon is under contract with the hunter until her goals are met.

Kazuichi lives in the middle of nowhere making special monster slaying, demon obliterating weapons and he loves to experiment any chance he gets. He was born into the trade of blacksmithing. His guardians are demonologists, Gundham and Sonia.

Gundham is a master of taming creatures that can detect the presence of demons and other creatures. Rumor has it is that he can really communicate with creatures.

Sonia is from a long line of hunters, going back to the medieval age when there was a secret line of hunters working for the royal family. It’s said that she’s a descendant between a hunter and a royal, which explains her extreme good looks.

Chihiro got affliated with the Oowada bros after being rescued from a spirit that was haunting the library computers. From there, they vowed to pay them back for their kindness (Mondo refused a thousand times before Daiya said that they could tag along) and now does a good chunk of their pilimary research of monsters to slay and where to find them.

“So between the house where people’s arms have been twisted off, the serial drowning and spontaneous combustion, which one would you rather go look at first?”

“Hmm… It’s a tight one between the dollhouse and the pool.”

“How about we just don’t for one goddamn week, for fuck’s sake, your finger got cut off-“

Mondo would like to have five seconds to relax sometimes.

okay but imagine a sequel for Kpop Demon Hunters where because Rumi has Jinu’s soul, she can feel his suffering from the underworld. because Jinu is def alive since his pets were there at the end.

So now they’re tasked with returning his soul because Rumi can’t stand to feel his suffering and seeing him in pain in her dreams. She’s able to give him his soul back because with the Honmoon, her soul is now complete on her own since her half-demon genes got tamed and she has a full human soul or some sorta mythology explanation.

With that they get Jinu back, but it’s not as simple as that, and now the demon hunters are back in business and having to fight again harder than ever. BUT THIS TIME, Jinu joins the Demon Hunters because he provides unique insider intellect that no one else can provide. Through this, we also get to see silly moments of him getting used to modern life because he’s from like way back when ancient times.

By the end, Jinu is no longer demon and goes back to being regular human once the underworld is defeated and fully cut ties from him. We get a post-credits scene of him not being fully used to not having any mythical powers, and him being like “Rumi what do you mean boil the hot water for the ramyeon with the kettle. i haven’t had to use tools to boil hot water in centuries, i usually just snapped my fingers and ah nevermind— where is the fire wood? what??? what do you mean *electric* kettle????”

People. Chat. I need to know. What do y'all think were the requirements for Kunikida's ideal women. Seriously there 58 of them and Dazai said that type of woman doesn't exist. I desperately need to know what Kunikida wanted in a woman that made even DAZAI judge him. It's brought up like once as a gag and never again. Wait nevermind it's brought up twice, in that one ova Kunikida says that aya does not meet 31 of his ideals for a spouse (One of those requirements is def her age bcz 58 is so specific there's no way he hasn't written down how old he wants his spouse to be or like an age range). Which means that aya meets the other 27 requirements, one of which is probably her bravery. What list of traits would dazai even be judgey about and would aya have a few of. Does anyone even have any head cannons about this or am i just weird for thinking about it too much.

If you don't mind answering, what's your favorite platonic Dick Grayson relationship? I very much love the differing father/son vibes he has with both Bruce AND Damian, but I'm also a sucker for a good brotherly relationship like with Tim or Jason. Also can't go with the codependency he has with the Titans (or YJ)

Dick and Donna is one of my absolute fav pairs of bffs. I like that they’d both absolutely defend each other to the death, and that they’ve known each other since they were young. Love the Wonder Twins they’re def my fav platonic pair.

And I think Dick & Roy and Dick & Garth are under explored too. It’s always either Wally or Donna. And I like them don’t get me wrong, but I want to see Dick and Roy hanging out at a gala bc Bruce and Ollie dragged them there, and maybe they’re making fun of Lex Luthor who’s also there and then sneaking cigarettes in the alley behind the venue. Maybe Dick is super interested in Atlantis and Garth teaches him all about it, and Dick in turn helps Garth with some surface world stuff that he’s been nervous about.

I enjoy all of the fab five together though, the concept of a group of superhero bffs is so fun, especially since they started when they were all so young. They’ve def all trauma bonded. And I like fics where the fab five all know Bruce is a shitty dad and they do everything they can to keep Dick away from him/protect him/comfort him.

Dick & Damian are my fav pair of all the batkids. Probably because they parallel early days Bruce & Dick so much. But I think they’re so fascinating to read/think about regardless of whether they’re the correct ages with Dick being older and Damian being younger, or if it’s a reverse robins situation. They have a fun mix of brotherly affection and father-son dynamic.

I do of course also love Bruce & Dick being a weird mix of father-son and brothers too. But I also enjoy fics where Bruce is very clearly The Dad.

In a Young Justice cartoon setting, I actually really like when he’s good friends with Conner and Kaldur. I feel like his friendship with Wally is always the focus, and his relationships with other characters aren’t as explored. Especially in a platonic setting. I don’t want Dick and Conner to be dating, I want Conner to look at this fluttery kid who helped save him from Cadmus and think “I have to protect him now, look at him, he’s pint sized.” Nevermind the fact that Robin in yj is objectively a terrifying little weirdo, that’s Conner’s terrifying little weirdo. I want them to watch Dick grow up and become Nightwing and for them to be so proud of their friend. I want them to get mad at other heroes when they talk shit about Nightwing because that’s their best pal, their buddy, their bff.

Probably derailed this a bit sorry abt that. But I just love fics that explore his relationships with other people without making it romantic.
