Journal entry #7 This past week has been a test of fortitude. Between fading in and out of consciousness, eating a little just to hurl it back up, constant fevers and nausea, and the neverending feeling of being on edge, I have had little time to write anything down. It turns out that the "help" Clancy had mentioned before my health took dire turn was just food, water, and someone to take care of me. I tried my best to resist at first, insisting I would do fine on my own, but soon the fevers and delirium got the better of me and my resolve faded quickly. It felt invasive at first, having someone watch my every move, and although I hate to admit it- I grew fond of the tender care I was given. At first they rotated in shifts, the Torchbearer, Clancy, and the nurse who had taken care of my injuries before, Jenna her name was if I recall. But after witnessing my skittishness and refusal of any help, Clancy refused to leave my side. I could tell in the small moments of lucidity I had that the constant care was getting to him, and he started dozing off near the end while sitting in the chair they set up to keep watch on me. Though he stayed silent for most of it, our relationship strengthened with the gentle touches of a washcloth and the soup he guided into my mouth. I feel safer with him now. In this place. The urge to make a DnD campaign based off of various bands and their lore is strong today. Like, hear me out

A campaign for the Trench and Dema lore with cleric and wizard bad guys vs rangers and paladins (because of course)

A slice of life campaign for the Ghost ministry (all ghoul/sister of sin/papa OCs welcome)

Or even a war campaign about Sleep’s uncaring watchful eye and the battles between the houses (Feathered Host would have druids, bards, and sorcerers while House Veridian would have barbarians, rogues, and fighters)

You can’t tell me this wouldn’t be sick as fuck

I was inspired by @helpmebowlofrice to share my Dema OC's. T.W- Non gory injury description under the cut

Meet Clara. She is a ex Dema citizen who lived under Bishop Scarver. Her father Derick was a Bandito who fell in love with her Dema citizen mother Sophia, who was to far gone and dragged him into Vialism. Derick kept his rebellious spirit however, and raised his only child to be rebellious as well. This did not escape the eye of Scarver, who ended up sending her to "re-education" as a teen, which ended up with her eye being taken out after she was "looking at a girl the wrong way" After this, her father relised that life in Trench was better than what his daughter was going through. So he organised for her to be taken to Trench by a Bandito he knew and that was it. She spent the rest of her teen years in the fresh air of Trench whilst learning how to become a part of the rescue team,

I did some sketches of my Trench/Bandito OCs! I wanna line these and do a few more arts of them both, but honestly I am already holding them so gently in my hands...

Laz is a falconer who works really well with Vultures (and uses them as lil spies sometimes). DEMA kind of messed him up and he's very nonverbal most of the time, but will speak up in like. Super Important scenarios. Firefly is his best friend and they've heard him talk before plenty.

Firefly is always super hyped to create new things and experiment outside the box. They're known for mostly like...making a lot of oil-filled sacks that they light on fire. They're a bit Intense about it. They're also super insecure of their abilities and constantly fear that their failure will hurt people! It's rough out there.

I've heard rumors about a being that lives just beyond Trench. They call him the Torchbearer. Someone said that's where Clancy is, that he's finally found him, and is free from Dema. He's escaped before, but the bishops brought him back. I remember the days he was gone. The bishops had interrogated everyone. Some of the people they questioned never came back. If Dema is as safe and perfect as the bishops preach, why did Clancy leave?

Anyways this took a longngng time I don’t like how long animation takes ughhg. And sevens feet and wings should be bigger but I’m wasn’t about to go through each frame individually and copy paste the fixed version. This is my first time doing a full on animatic besides the tried and true bouncing ball. Also if you can’t tell this is about my new oc seven. so. yea.

xxxxxxxxx While I was talking with Clancy earlier he explained what an "intro post" was and what I should put in it. So I will do that now, for whoever comes across my page. You can call me Seven, I left the city recently and have been residing at a Bandito camp since then. Clancy said I should put my pronouns here. Use whatever you want when referring to me. I haven't put much thought into anything like that and I don't really care to. I don't know my exact age but I know I am not an adult. This place is going to be a public journal of sorts, logging my experiences in trench and anything else of note. Feel free to send questions or anything you wish. 4. do you have any dema/trench ocs?

well, i am not a writer, but sometimes when i try to fall asleep and i make stories in my head there is in fact a character named poppy and she's a bandito and she lives in trench with the others. and i will not say more.

6. is there a song you think would be cool in a different style? which style?

i would literally murder for a full studio version of next semester on ukulele, however i also think backslide on piano would kill us all.

14. have you ever had a dream about the boys or the lore?

i did have a dream that sounds like a very cheesy fanfiction but it's actually kinda funny. it happened a few months ago and i think it was the european leg of clancy tour and tyler had a brand new idea for it: instead of ride karaoke with kids he was searching for fans online and then he was inviting them on stage to sing their favourite songs with him. and so they had a show in poland and he said he was lurking on tumblr and he found my blog and he invited me on stage to sing saturday with him, because he saw us listening and celebrating sai every saturday with the gang and he was impressed. then after that he told me in front of everyone that he actually saw all of my tags and i died of embarrassment.

21. what's your favorite josh outfit from the clancy tour?

the orange crochet top he was wearing in poland lives rent free in my head!!! but maybe it's because i saw it live, i don't really know, but i love it so much!

24. which song do you associate with each season?

ok, let's try this: spring - level of concern; summer - lovely; autumn - leave the city; winter - oh ms believer. i have no explanation for this, it's just the vibes!
