I know you are busy with pirate!eddie atm, which btw- I loooooove... trying to hold on and read them slowly, so they don't run out, but am now at chapter 4 and I Am Obsessed!!! But I couldn't help but notice your header (Derry girls yeeey) does that mean, at some point we will maybe get like... summer Eddie? Theme is all foresty green, so like camping Eddie maybe?

So, bio header is from Derry Girls and i love that its recognisable!! Unnnfortunately tho, my theme is not an easter egg for anything i'm planning for future fics. It's mostly inspired by the story i made @spiderrrling write last year, which was a summer camp!au 😅 i was feeling a big nostalgic to that time coz we had A LOT of fun planning it out

But honestly, leaving easter eggs for future projects is such a dope idea so who knows, maybe i'll change it up soon 👀 coz i do have a lot of things i want to work on once NWE is done

Dear Mr. President:

For the GOOD and true HONOR of our beloved country, the United States of America, in the NAME of ALMIGHTY GOD, LYNCHING should be abolished.  Opinion seems unanimous that the United States Government possesses permanently the greater jurisdictional control (about 3/4) over each United States Citizen; and the State in which the citizen resides holds the remaining (1/4) jurisdiction.

Hence the elimination of LYNCHING, our most heinous STIGMA, should be accomplished through the Federal Government, because the respective States, for more than fifty years, have failed to suppress LYNCHING.  Therefore, we urgently appeal to our honored President, and hereby PETITION him to URGE the enactment into LAW, during the Extra Session of Congress, of either Senator France's or Representative Dyer ANTI-LYNCHING BILL.  By such worthy and magnanimous ACT, Mr. President, you will immortalize your NAME like the illustrious Lincoln when we signed the Emancipation Proclamation.  Amen.

Two and a half years after the events in Derry, Eddie is divorced, recovered (mostly) and he's free to do whatever (or whoever) he wants. That shouldn't be so hard, should it? (The spaces between your fingers might be sweeter when they're linked with someone else's)

This fic is such a great character study of Eddie. I enjoy the way that his internal monologue is written, how he navigates finding himself, how he interacts with all the Losers, the relationship he has with Richie. It’s all impeccably done and just. Wonderful!

After chatting with the author, I decided on pink bookcloth with this quartz-ish paper for the cover. It was my first time trying a 3 piece in-boards bradel binding, which I was inspired by the binding style used by @clovenhoofbindery for “Away Childish Things”. It was fiddly and you had to be precise with your measurements, but I really liked the end product. The endband is 5 colours, and I wanted to do a gradient of the colours that are in the cover paper. All in all I’m really proud of how this turned out!
