God I love absolute wonder woman so much, like the whole universe is so fun but everything about these comics ugh.

She's literally raised in what should be hell and her mere presence starts to bring love. Circe was literally ready to let this child die and yet somehow became her mother, and that was not a thing of duty because she could of gave less of a fuck.

The art style is so gorgeous and I can't help but note how she has recognisable grecian features and she's so stunning and it's really nice when we get to see the trinity specifically looking other than extremely hot white person, it gives them so much personality.

She's an amputee, she literally gave her fucking arm for the first man she ever met because she's a hero for mankind, she barely knows them, she's known nothing but demons in her life outside of circe, yet she has faith and hope.

Hope and compassion is a thing DC does so well for their characters but it is really shining through with Wonder Woman in this universe.

Also, I think it's interesting that in a reality supposedly influenced by Darkseid's bad vibes where everything is harder for heroes it's Circe who is Diana's protector, and unless there's some really painful twist later, seems completely genuine about that? I think that's a really fun reading of Circe in general, she's not a force of evil, but rather rebellion, which would make her make her untenable to Darkseid's tyrannical impulses and also the exact person who would defy the corrupt will of the gods to give Diana the opportunity to embody her destiny.
