A good bit of trial and error and 4 different colors of wood stain later I have finished the dice box for my Satyr Warlock, Sidereal! (Featuring his weasel familiar, Cinnamon.) The challenge I set for myself was to do wood inlay, and it worked; all the different colored bits on the covers are individual pieces. The dice tray/storage box is held in with pretty strong magnets and it's padded to protect the dice.

This might be the most bespoke thing I've created for myself, but now that I've got the pattern and process down I can definitely make others, too!

Not trying to shill here, but those are quality looking boxes and he's a passionate guy and a single dad trying to improve his lot in life.

I've had this book for a few years. I loved the inside cover so much and have been wanting to turn it into a dice box. Now that I'm prepping for my Mystery Flesh Pit game, I was finally inspired to get it done. It's a medical encyclopedia from the 1950s, very outdated but interesting to read through as I flipped through for pictures to cut out. The pictures on the bottom of the cut-out were found from inside the book itself.

My friend @skiingonsaturn made me a dice box with my ttrpg world map on it a year or two ago and now presented me with an updated one for Christmas and I love them both!

Commission and collaboration from December with Pergamena Leather. Dice boxes crafted for a long standing Dungeons and Dragons campaign, styled after books!

Made with a gorgeous chocolate brown calfskin, lined with mossy green cow hide, and sided up with this beautiful Petrichor @cavepaper, the boxes made for the campaign party included gold foil hot stamping on the spine and a map of their campaign on the inner cover. A sixth was made plain but using some lovely natural flax Cave Paper and kept in a similar style. All have a ribbon closure to ensure the dice are nestled safe and sound in their homes. I’m the background of this photograph is another Pergamena wild hide…more on that soon!

This was such a rewarding project to work on, and an absolute treasure to know these dice boxes are in good company.
