Played some diceomancer and was thinking how cool a character who replaces numbers in reality with dice rolls would be and then I Remem8ered.

#the toucan squawks#Ran into the one boss that my build couldn't deal with.#And it probably actually could!! But my one ace in the hole (800 damage Chaos Strike) just never happened.#Fuck the Error boss I hate that guy#Diceomancer#If you haven't played it you should. There's a free demo on Steam and it's really fun

If you like Slay the Spire please please please check out Diceomancer. It's the same thing with better art (imo), animations, dice rolling, and fishing.
I cannot possibly give this game a better review. I think it's an amazing roguelike that mixes the deck building genre with gambling. The free demo on steam alone should convince you.

I'm not sure how much of a video game player you are, but there's a really cool roguelike deckbuilder called Diceomancer that seems to draw a lot of inspiration from Magic, including having a similar color system! How do you feel about Magic going on to inspire other games?
I’m always excited to see Magic’s influence.

im SO close to beating the final boss in DICEOMANCER and "winning" the game. the actual runs don't take very long, usually only like 20 mins max. and winning a run "wins" the game but since there's so much replayablity built in, you're not generally expected to stop playing after you win a run.
anyway i was doing not so great with the starting class/build, sage, and tried the other class i'd unlocked, beserker, and im SO much better at beserker. sage is more about winning with your wits and carefully using your cards strategically whereas berserker is more about winning with like wild, reckless abandon

steam says it has a 9.6% achievement rate but
this one makes me look more impressive (both screenshots were taken today i have no clue which one is accurate)
