Headcanons for how mirror world counterparts work in my Kirbyverse
In my headcanons, not everyone has a mirror world counterpart. In fact, only a select few of them do. Other than that, the mirror world just naturally created an ecosystem that mirrors the real world in a more generalized sense, as most of its people don't correspond to exact individuals in the real world.
The few existent mirror worlders that are counterparts to exact individuals were created by Dark Mind back when it was trying to conquer the mirror world.
Dark Meta Knight, Shadow Kirby, Shadow Dedede and Dark Taranza are all creations of Dark Mind. They exist because the four people that they correspond to came in close contact with dimensional mirrors, which allowed Dark Mind to create those four entities to use as pawns to help carry out its evil deeds.
One of them never followed its orders, though. Shadow Kirby is the outlier of Dark Mind's creations. He's the only one here that never obeyed Dark Mind, as he immediately defected. In contrast, the other three did obey Dark Mind, and did so up until the bitter end.
More info down below! This became a long post so I'm putting a 'Keep reading' tag so you can read the rest of it after clicking it.
Here are the specific circumstances for how Dark Mind created the four entities:
-Dark Meta Knight first came into existence at the beginning of Amazing Mirror when Meta Knight entered the mirror world. Dark Mind processed Meta Knight and then created DMK to distract him while it was conquering the mirror world.
-Shadow Kirby, much like DMK, also came into existence at the start of AM. When Kirby entered the mirror world, Dark Mind processed him and created Skirby in an attempt to distract Kirby, but this failed because Skirby immediately became disobedient. Dark Mind shrugged as it then let Skirby be, believing it didn't need him as DMK was doing well enough as a servant for it at the time.
-Shadow Dedede came into existence midway during Amazing Mirror when King Dedede tried examining the dimensional mirror that Meta Knight and Kirby went through after learning they entered it. At this moment, Dark Mind processed Dedede and then created Shadedede, which then showed up inside the mirror and scared Dedede off. This also made Dedede worried about Meta and Kirby until AM's ending when they came out of it okay.
-Dark Taranza came into existence while Taranza was gifting a dimensional mirror to Joronia. This happened midway during AM, when Dark Mind was still at its prime and was capable of creating Daranza after it processed Taranza being in contact with a mirror.
These four entities also first spawned into existence as the same age as their counterparts when Dark Mind created them. This means that DMK, Shadedede and Daranza never had childhoods as they quite literally spawned as adults... because Meta Knight, Dedede and Taranza are all adults. Skirby, however, is indeed a kid because Kirby is a kid.
Worth of note that immediately after Amazing Mirror's ending, Dark Mind didn't fully die. At first, it was reduced to a small fragment. And even though it was severely weakened and couldn't do much on its own, it was still capable of making DMK, Shadedede and Daranza follow its orders.
This didn't last forever, though, as eventually even the fragment was killed. After AM, Shadow Kirby then came to Kirby and asked for help on how to use copy abilities. After enough training, Skirby then sought out the Dark Mind fragment and then destroyed it with Sword many after years after AM, which was the blow that ended Dark Mind's life for good.
.... But not before Dark Mind, in fragment form, managed to pull something off with the help of its three still-obedient servants.
It was desperately trying to extend its metaphorical tentacles outside of the mirror world in an attempt to regrow itself, as it ordered its servants to search for people that were using dimensional mirrors.
They did find someone... that someone being Joronia. Dark Mind's servants observed Joronia using a mirror, the same one that Taranza gifted her years earlier. Dark Mind saw an opportunity in this, as it then ordered its servants to feed her dark magic in an attempt to spread its influence, desperate to do so after losing much of its power after what Kirby did to it.
In my headcanon verse, Sectonia's corruption was the combined effort of Dark Mind, Dark Meta Knight, Shadow Dedede and Dark Taranza.
^ Taranza would vehemently hate all of them if he met them. He already met DMK during Star Allies and basically wants him dead. If he met Shadedede and Daranza, he'd also want them dead. Fortunately, Dark Mind is already gone.
Sometime after Joronia got corrupted, Skirby then found Dark Mind's fragment and killed the evil monster for good, effectively freeing DMK, Shadedede and Daranza of its influence.
Skirby managed to befriend DMK, but he wasn't able to befriend the other two who were being especially insufferable to him. They just moved on without letting Skirby in their life, and they also hold a grudge against DMK because they deem him as a 'traitor' for allowing himself to become friends with Skirby, the person that permanently killed their master for good.
To quickly reiterate: Dark Mind is indeed dead now in the modern day of my Kirbyverse, but it took some time after AM. He didn't immediately fully die after the game's events, as what Kirby did just reduced him to a fragment that was still capable of making its servants listen to it. But many years afterwards, Skirby, after being trained by Kirby, then destroyed Dark Mind's fragment, killing it for real.
Dark Mind's "true death" in my headcanons was done in the hands of one of its creations. LOL. Its disobedient creation, but still one of its creations nevertheless.
After Dark Mind's death, that means there'll be no more mirror world counterparts to exact individuals after that. So whenever anyone comes in close contact with a dimensional mirror, that won't result in the creation of a counterpart.
Case in point: Daroach commonly goes to the mirror world to visit DMK because they're friends. But this happens long after Dark Mind died, so a mirror world counterpart to Daroach doesn't ever get made.
So yeah, that explains why there aren't any other mirror world counterparts in my verse aside from the established four.
That being said... Parallel Susie could probably count as a "pretend mirror worlder".
Parallel Susie didn't originate from the mirror world, so she is not a mirror counterpart to Susie, as instead she came from an alternate dimension. However, Parallel Susie and Dark Taranza met each other in Parasusie's home dimension and became friends. Parasusie frequently visits the mirror world because of Daranza, and it's also the reason why she has D-Mind symbols on her business suit.
So that's why she can count as a "pretend mirror worlder", but isn't actually one for real.
Like stated at the top of the post, the mirror world just naturally created an ecosystem that mirrors the real world in a more generalized sense. Most of its people don't correspond to exact individuals in the real world. The mirror world is just a mirror counterpart to the world in general.
Shadow Kirby has evolved into the mirror world's hero, as he now knows how to use copy abilities thanks to getting help from Kirby.
Dark Meta Knight, Shadow Dedede and Dark Taranza are considered 'menaces' to the mirror world society because none of them ever made any sincere apologies for following Dark Mind's orders. That being said, DMK is definitely the least bad of the three, as he causes the least trouble out of the three and is actually friends with Skirby, unlike the other two.
Okay, that's basically all I got here. Thanks!

You Can Respawn Fabric, but You Can't Respawn Your Hair? Makes Sense.
I absolutely hate watching this scene because it makes me cringe to hell and back (and that's probably intentional, Stav mentioned to me a while back that it mimics Dr. Manhattan's transformation scene). So like. Give me a little love on this one because it was TORTURE for me. I didn't mean to go so in-depth here but...the details just keep coming.
I love/hate how fucked up this man's jumpsuits are.
So this guy clearly starts out as Jamie (we've all seen the BTS of him in the harness for this part).
But by the end, he's transformed completely into someone who looks distinctly like Brenner, as I've said both here and here.
However...the singe pattern just straight up changes. This is not the last time we see a singe pattern completely change. He respawns fabric by the right sleeve, too. This is also not the last time this happens.
And all while he gets a handsome-Squidward style facial reconstruction...
...Until he doesn't?
The next time we see him, we're back in Jamie-face territory.
And, of course, here's the other time the singe pattern has changed. We also have some more respawned fabric (like I mentioned earlier). The shape of both holes, shoulder and left-chest has changed entirely.
It's not the same scorching.
(We've also added a brand new random singe on the right arm. Which, before you say "oh he's probably been down there a while/maybe he burnt it one the planet"...there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of fire on the planet. Maybe he got zapped more on the way down or something, I don't want to misattribute anything.)
Either way, the scorches, the fabric, and...yes, once again: the blood spatters.
In the Dimenson X Pattern, notice those two distinct dots under the scorch?

Not present in the Zapping Scene Pattern.
And it shows up in the big spray too, specifically near the buttons and the shape of the big drips:
But the blood pattern throughout the zapping scene seems to stay consistent, even if the scorching doesn't.
So at the very least we can conclude that: whoever reached out the the Shadow Monster and whoever we're told became Vecna are likely two different people.
Which, with Dimension X having this sort of planar mirroring...I don't think it's too massive of a stretch to say something weird is going on in a pair.
Especially when earlier I spoke here and here about having 2 of each interdimensional event (or lack thereof in the gateless version).
We see 2 dematerialization events based on the orientation of the shards, and we know from ST1 that dematerialization yoinks you into the Blue UD. We don't know where the dematerialization may have lead us here.
We know that the gate leads to Dimension X, since we visually follow Bren-Hen-Ward through the gate and into Dimension-X. Two Gates.
And then the no-gate timeline (timelines? there are at least 2 blood-free Bren-Hen-Wards).
And of course. As per usual with this godawful episode. His cheek and ear blood straight up disappear (not to mention his ears and eye socket shapes changing completely).
Either it got scorched off at some point when this side is facing away from us, or there's something else going on. I'm putting a pin in this one. I don't have the brain space for it right now.
Before anyone comes in with production error talk, I'd like to remind us all:
As we've discussed before, we know how particular they are about both blood spatters (Em has talked endlessly about this particular subject)...and they're the same way about scorches:

So whoever they are, those two Dimension-X guys aren't the same guy.

Convenience Store AU
Quick summary: Jesse dies on the beach and wakes up in a convenience store back near Crestwood. A dimension in which Jesse has sick new tattoos, the OA looks like an actual goddamn angel, French is a nerd ass loser who's been pining for Jesse for like 2 years, and everyone gets to be happy.
(apologies for awful formatting, this was so fucking long that I got tired of trying to make it read perfectly.)
ok so after Jesse dies it's just. dark for a long ass time right? but he wakes up to blinding light and it takes a moment for his eyes to focus. his first thought is "is heaven a 7/11?" and his second thought is "OH SHIT OA?!?!?" She found him passed out in the middle of the store aisle when she came in from the back room and after a very confused minute of conversation they realize that oh shit, it's the real OG them from the Crestwood dimension. so OA basically hires Jesse on the spot and Jesse has to help her get Hap (the manager, he's suppressed in this body but still a jackass of monumental proportions) kicked out and sent somewhere else. They do succeed after a few weeks (aka they get everyone to file complaints about him until he's relocated to somewhere out of state).
Jesse, however, has a Hell Of A Lot of new things to adjust to, the first of which being that What The Fuck, he looked in the mirror and he has fucking moving tattoos that Definitely weren't there before!! Turns out this dimension has such a thin membrane between it and the invisible river of the Between, weird ass shit tends to happen around people who have travelled through worlds. Jesse soon finds out that he isn't the only one with weird shit happening to him: the angels from the lab, especially OA, have some definite traditional angelic characteristics. OA has a ton of extra eyes on her face and neck and like. everywhere so she tends to wear gauzy scarves around her neck and ling sleeves everywhere. nothing can really be done about the ones on her face but she doesn't really show her face anywhere anyways so it's not that big a deal for her. Homer works at a patisserie in town and has extra eyes on his arms and back, as well as extra mouths on his hands (he wears gloves during work, don't ask). Rachel works there with him (and yes they're all in a thruple because. Oachel rights yo) and has extra vocal chords as well so her singing sounds absolutely ethereal. (She convinced Homer to hire Buck and Angie to work with him there after the OA told them about them.) Scott doesn't have too many extra weird eyes but his hair grows flowers and though he acts pissy about it he secretly really likes them. He works as the town's electrician and Steve apprentices under him. Renata tours around and always brings them back gifts from places she visits, and has both extra eyes on her arms that become part of her signature style (she claims it's prosthetics for the press) and a second mouth beneath her collarbone hidden under scarves so she can harmonize with herself.
BBA already works at the school and so knows them all already, and she shops at the convenience store for snacks at night during Jesse's shift and so is already close to him. She slowly puts the puzzle together herself, but in a very peaceful, calm manner; basically, she notices that he's acting different but doesn't throw a fuss about it ("I think Jesse's a different Jesse now. Hm. I'll ask if he still likes shortbread next time I go."). Lucky for Jesse, BBA and the angels all kind of adopt him.
Why do they keep working at the store after Hap leaves? a) it pays bills and like. they need to eat. and b) it's something to do, it's a normal part of a normal life that lets them spend time with each other and feel like they can finally live happy lives. Plus, Jesse and OA both desperately want to contact their home dimension and tell the others that they're okay, so the store provides a good space to do that.
and then French walks in the door one night because Olive Garden fired him and he needs to support his brothers and mom, and Jesse's world suddenly becomes a Hell of a lot more convoluted. French is confused when the pretty boy from school he was always too nervous to talk to looks up from the front counter and chokes on his drink; he's even more confused when Jesse stays bright red through their entire awkward conversation of "I need a job, are you hiring?" "UH. we are now. let me go grab the paperwork" (read: gay hyperventilating behind the backroom door for the minutes before grabbing the papers.) French is very concerned when as soon as he signs his name the paper just. crumbles to ash without any warning but Jesse just sweeps it into the bin and says "yeah you're hired, UHHH what hours???? work for you????? actually just come in when it does work and we'll get you started okay goodbye!!!" Of course night shift works best for French so Jesse has a mini conniption when French walks in the next night an hour after Jesse gets there and asks if he can start working Now.
French is a fucking NERD ASS LOSER in this dimension. so he's very confused when after a week of training almost nightly (hey, he needs to provide, yo) Steve, his old bully, walks in and greets him very nicely and apologizes for anything he did in high school (he does not notice Jesse glaring at Steve. he is also not aware of Jesse calling Steve the first night he came in and incoherently rambling for twenty minutes straight before yelling "I'M GAY" and hanging up. Steve was confused because didn't Jesse come out in like 10th grade to him??? he didn't bully French for being gay he bullied him for being a nerd ass loser).
French also begins to notice that things are fucking weird in this convenience store, and by that I mean he walks in one night and Jesse is calmly reading a comic book while one of the freezers is literally emitting fucking fire. ("Jesse. Tell me you fucking realize that THE FREEZER IS ON FIRE." "Yeah, OA said to just leave it. Scott's gonna fix it later" "But. But it's on FIRE." "Yeah lol apparently she's been workin on portals without dying and opened a hell dimenson? haha wack right. Just keep the door closed and it'll be fine.") He ends up calling Steve (who is being almost suspiciously friendly now under threat of bodily harm, and who is genuinely trying to be a better person) to ask if this is normal after Jesse tells very seriously after setting up "wet floor signs" that he should stay away from the soda fountain, OA accidentally fucked with it and it's biting people. (French, talking to Steve over the phone: "Yeah dude and then it just fucking crumbled to ash and he said I was hired. Like what the fuck. What the fuck." "Oh yeah lol apparently her husband's shop does the same thing. Btw tell Jesse to stop hoarding snakes in the cupboards behind the desk bc I'm the one Scott sends to fix that shit." "...........SNAKES?!"
Jesse has a weird thing with snakes in this dimension since he 1) found a weird tattoo of a snake with wings that just roams around his body as it pleases and acts like a pet (yes he named it Ramen Noodle. no he does not have shame.) and 2) realized that he can basically charm snakes just by talking to them. Friend shaped noodles. French walks in one night to find Steve trying to convince Jesse to "take them out of the cupboards" and after French cautiously asks what's in the cupboards Jesse just opens it to reveal like 30 snakes that he rescued from the cold (French yells and almost falls on his ass. Steve just sighs as Jesse picks up a ton of them and lets them curl up around his arms). OA does bi-monthly snake banishing (read: making Jesse go to different animal shelters to give the snakes away during winter or releasing them into the wild in warmer weather). (For his birthday about three months in she and Homer and Rachel find him an albino boa constrictor and Jesse genuinely looks like he's about to pass out from joy. He names it Theo, and for some reason, BBA tears up when he tells her and gingerly pets the snake.)
And the thing is, French is such a skeptic that he just can't bring himself to take Jesse seriously when one night about a month in he locks the glass doors and sits down to tell French very seriously that he's not the original Jesse from this dimension. Jesse realizes that French won't very easily be convinced, so he just does his best to flippantly include it in conversation in the hopes that it will slowly convince him. Even after French notices the moving tattoos (he was staring at Jesse's stomach when he stretched one night and almost yelled when a weird, almost tentacle looking tattoo idly moved across his skin) he can't bring himself to believe it, even when he realizes Jesse's eyes are a odd, almost shifting blue as opposed to the warm brown he searched for in the halls every day of senior year, even when there's fire and weird portals and a manager who has even more eyes than her husband (Homer comes in often with baked goods for Jesse and French. the first time French saw what he thought was a prosthetic eye on the back of Homer's hand wink at him, he almost passed out.). What finally convinces him is when Hap comes back.
Hap' s consciousness somehow came through after almost four months of wondering what was wrong with his old job, and when he comes back, French is in the store early just as Jesse is getting there and Homer is about to pick up OA when Hap comes in and points a gun at him. He's yelling what French thinks is nonsense, about a rose window and Prairie and how she lied to him, but he knows better now, he knows, and French is dead sure he's going to die when OA starts yelling back that he's wouldn't dare harm him or any of her friends. He can see in the reflection of the mirror above the front desk that Hap looks deranged, and it's enough to convince him of two things: one, Hap is about to kill him, and two, Jesse was telling the truth all along. He's about to do something desperate, kick Hap or try to grab the gun, something, when there's movement in the mirror and he spots something heavy swinging towards them. He ducks just as Homer creeps up behind them and brains Hap with a piece of scrap metal. The cops are called and everything is mostly sorted out-- Hap, of course, is going to jail-- but French is still shellshocked from realizing that it's all real, that Jesse died and came back in this dimension and that there are angels that act more like his parents than his mother ever has. It's a shock to him, but he gradually adjusts, and Jesse begins slowly filling him in on their old life in the original Crestwood, how they came together when a once-blind victim of a kidnapping came back with vision and stories, how he died on a beach on the way to San Francisco after overdosing on an old man's pain medication. Eventually, he gets the go-ahead from OA to tell the others and fill them in on exactly what happened. They reunite as they're supposed to and eventually become just as tightly knit as they had been. The Steve from Crestwood eventually joins them and while it takes him some time to adjust, he's so thrilled to have Jesse back and that everything is okay here that he's content.

MCU Rewatch: “Doctor Strange” (2016)
This is probably stating the obvious, but I’m convinced that the order of the Mystic Arts(TM) or whatever it’s called has a secret worldwide following outside of Khamar-taj and the sanctums.
I don’t think Stephen Strange cares about Christine Palmer the way Christine cares about him. And I don’t really think they’re going to end up together--their lives are going in completely different directions. But I don’t care, and I don’t care who else comes into Doc’s life. I ship them.
As a surgeon, Strange loved the challenge and risk of his profession, and he also loved to inspire envy in others.
Yeah, being able to have full use of your hands without pain is so nice
Rather than being a cautionary tale about safe driving, this movie is about how to deal with a life transition and finding meaning after everything changes
But seriously, NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER take your eyes off the road
The “Sad Montage”
The first time I watched this movie, the scene that sold me on Cumberbatch’s acting was his argument/rant with Christine. Also his sarcastic American accent is so perfect.
Another fun fact: I wasn’t an actual Benedict Cumberbatch fan until I saw him in full costume in Doctor Strange. I took one look and I was like, “That’s it, call me a Cumbercookie and put me in the batch.”
I mean his outfit, his powers, his problem-solving genius--Doctor Strange is just SO COOOOOOL
So where did those surgical/medical trophies of his end up? Who bought them?
This time watching the film, I was reminded with my own impatience with my own disabilities. Sometimes I’m like, “Can I do it by myself? Can I be normal? Can I not be limited? Truly?”
One of the greatest themes in this film is the consequences of selfish desire. You can have things your way and ruin the multiverse for everyone else, or you can care about what other people want/need (esp basic things like the right to Life and respect) and actually make more of yourself by giving to them
Jason Pangborn had every right to turn Strange away. Strange had turned him away. Now the same doctor had come to him begging for help, asking him how he had recovered. It would have been totally fair to turn him away and give him a taste of his own medicine. Except that it wouldn’t have been fair at all. Not to mention, other surgeons had turned Strange away to save their own selfish careers. One ordinary person decided to not be a jerk and that made all the difference.
Gosh, Mordo in the post-credit scene is such a piece of crap
“Good luck.” Pangborn knew Strange was in for a struggle. Khamar-taj doesn’t take just anybody, and he probably guessed it would be less than welcoming to someone with Strange’s ego
Interesting artistic note in the whole scene with Pangborn: he and Strange start talking on opposite sides of a fence, but when Pangborn decides to confide in Strange, they move to a gap in the fence so he can stand closer and talk more quietly.
Another artistic note: it’s almost always cloudy/partly cloudy or raining in the NYC scenes but sunny in Nepal
Another thing: the guy that Strange talked to in physical therapy. This whole thing happened because he wanted to prove a point to Strange. Wow. Goals.
So does Strange ever actually learn the power to heal/repair his hands? You could argue that when he’s studying the time stone that that is what he’s investigating. There’s also the “It’s not about your hands” scene. Once he unlocks the sling ring, he has the confidence enough to give himself a shave/haircut. By the time Kaecilius attacks, he still complains about his hands shaking, but he still has pretty basic use of his hands and he can do whatever magic he wants. IDK I feel like the hands were never relevant to the plot after a certain point.
I’m convinced that Strange has his accident at least 3 years before the film actually takes place, depending on when they got the A up on Avengers tower. If Strange was recovering from the accident/trying to fix his hands for about 6 months, then maybe he was at Khamar-taj for a little over two years.
The scene with the Ancient One in the corridor between sanctums. She’s doing something with the Eye and the stand its on and the globe above her. What is she doing?
Tilda Swinton looks great bald but her head is really small. like really. But having no hair brings out her beautiful face. Her nose is actually perfect. Just an observation.
“TEACH ME.” Discovering the Multiverse and the Mystic Arts actually opens a whole new world to Strange. A whole new way of thinking. And he’s amazed by it. He wants to learn more, not just to fix his hands. He advances so quickly in his studies because he wants to learn everything he can. He is so curious. (and it’s something he can be good at without full function of his hands, he finds out). This dude is such a Ravenclaw, wow.
But of course he also isn’t doing anything else with his time right then.
I hope Christine got paid overtime the day Strange showed up twice.
I think the reason I respect Christine Palmer so much is because my mom is a nurse and she used to work in the ER and we really get to see her doing her job.
My favorite scene has to be “Try me, Beyonce!”
“It’s not about your hands.” It’s not about what is physical and right in front of you. “It’s not about you.” It’s not about what you want for yourself or what you can do. Or can’t do.
Strange pays attention to the hints about Kaecilius going AWOL and the ritual he stole. There were probably other people talking about what happened, rumors and whispers from the other students, dark hints from the other instructors. Also, the Ancient One isn’t shy about showing him the Dark Dimension and what it’s capable of.
I get the impression that some Mystic Relics don’t like people or even want to work with them. The Cloak of Levitation, on the other hand...
The whole time at the fight at the New York sanctum Strange is probably like “What is happening??????” the whole time
I was actually kind of disappointed when the whole spinning/revolving/altering architecture effects turned out to be just the power from the Dark Dimension. Like I thought that was how all of the “magic” worked.
The Ancient One is a great teacher. Her methods are kind of problematic (the whole Everest thing) sometimes but she knows how to push the people who need it. She’s really patient but kind of strict. I think her whole thing is just Tough Love.
Doctor Strange is a match for Kaecilius as far as powers but just barely. The Cloak really gives him an advantage.
I think the Ancient One lengthened her life the way she did partly because she wanted to serve as Sorcerer Supreme. Maybe no one else for a long time was a good fit for the job.
Wow, she calls him out about still wanting to control life and death just as he’s mastering the Mystic Arts. Smart.
We get enough Mordo backstory in the film to make him an interesting character, and we get it mainly through him reacting to Strange and to the events he witnesses.
Mordo was actually ready to CRY when Strange flew into the Dark Dimenson, he was like “no, how could you? are you serious?” and Kaecilius wanted him to think that Strange couldn’t resist Dormmamu’s promise of “eternal life”
The Ancient One’s fall out of the Mirror Dimension onto the streets of NYC is really scary
The Ancient One has been drawing power from the Dark Dimension to lengthen her life, yes. But she knows Dormmamu is a liar. He has tempted her but she has resisted. What a trooper.
The longer the fight in the Mirror dimension goes the more it starts to look and feel like a bad dream
The Ancient One tells Strange that one of his motivations in his past life was his fear of failure. And then Strange flies into the Dark Dimension and confronts Dormmamu in a time loop, he lets Dormmamu kill him painfully over and over again, he fails until he succeeds. He allows himself to fail because he knows that failure is part of the process. This speaks volumes about what he did in Infinity War.
Post-credit scene: Pangborn suspected Mordo right away. Makes me wonder about their relationship at Khamar-taj.
Kaecilius is really warped. Reeeeaaally warped.
The Ancient One in that first scene with Strange: she understands medical terminology, she understands ways of thinking in different science and philosophy fields. That scene does so much to introduce the concept of the sciences and other fields being different ways of looking at the same thing and I love it

Found more Wings and Stars, while playing Kirby Triple Deluxe.
At the end of each level, you go through such a door and exit back to the "overworld" where you choose which level to play. While i am aware this is manly is a game dynamic, but this game is linked with Amazing Mirror, one could say that each lvl could be a pocket dimenson which Kirby must cross through to continue their journey.
Spoilers for Kirby: Forgotten Land
Hello there Kirby Fandom, this is more of an observation than a theory and if anything doesn't make sense, just call me out. Just trying to piece this together. Enough small talk.
So it is rather obivious that Fecto Elfilis powers were used by the ancient to devolp their own Warp-Technologie for their ships...
(see picture: Star-Shaped portals from Fecto Elfilis Bossfight and rip in Space to pull Popstar through)
(Pictures: Portals from the Starcutter in Cutscenes and im Bossfight)
So stars are symbols of fast-travel in this universe. (Kirby's Wrap Star is a great example!)
But what i noticed recently, is that The Mirror (Kirby and the amazing Mirror) shares TWO similarities with both Fecto Elfilis, the Starcutter and Galacta Knight:
I just assumed that, like all the artifacts scattered through this universe, the mirror was made by the ancients to visit the Mirror world. Which means that fast travel by portal is symboliced with wings (Which the Starcutter, Fecto Elfilis and The Mirror all have)?
Also as a sidenote, Galacta is able to open portals and shoot lasers out of them and he(?) has wings, too. But the Star on his shield only has 4 points and he(?) isn't shown to travel through those portals. So.... Wings = Portals? Stars = Fast - Travel? Combined -> effiecent Fast Travel through dimensions(?)
I don't really know if this is importent in any way or if I'm missing something, but nobody else, as far as i'm aware anyway, pointed this out so uh... take it i guess
Take some memes for the way!
Me explaining what i found to my friends
My friends, not knowing a single thing about Kirby

New state laws go into effect January 1
The image will be shown on special license plates and rearview mirror hangers, as well as new or replacement parking-space signs. Contractors engaged in water and fire-damage repairs, storm restoration and mold remediations will now have to register with the state Department of Consumer Protection. Drug stores will now sell anti-overdose drugs such as Naxalone without a prescription and health insurers that provide prescription coverage, must pay for it without requiring prior authorization. Connecticut health insurance policies must cover three-dimensonal mammograms, called breast tomosynthesis, including baseline mammograms for women aged 35 and 39, plus annual mammograms for those 40 and older. Employers will now be prohibited from asking job candidates about their history of arrests, criminal charges or convictions, except for jobs requiring a security or fidelity bond and for certain employers required by state or federal law to ask. New state laws go into effect January 1
