PAMPERS PUBLIC SCHOOL REFORM: EDUCATION REIMAGINED OR REGRESSION GONE TOO FAR?
By Emily Dawson, Investigative Reporter
For years, education reform has been a topic of heated debate. Traditional schooling often leaves students overwhelmed by stress, struggling with expectations, and ill-prepared for real life. In response, school districts across the country have begun partnering with Pampers Corporation to introduce a radically new approach to learning—one that eliminates unnecessary pressure, fosters emotional well-being, and removes the burdens of growing up too quickly.
The Pampers Public School Reform Program has now fully replaced traditional education in multiple districts, converting high schools into structured learning environments tailored to a simpler, more guided lifestyle. Students are relieved of responsibilities that once weighed them down, such as complex coursework, college preparation, and even basic hygiene routines. In their place? A nurturing, preschool-style environment where comfort and security come first.
While many officials praise the program’s success, not everyone is celebrating.
"I’m Not a Toddler—Why Are They Treating Me Like One?"
Emma Reynolds, 18, had spent years working toward an honors diploma, with hopes of attending a prestigious university. But when her high school was converted to a Pampers Academy, she found herself pulled into a system she never agreed to.
"It’s not school—it’s a daycare," Emma hisses, gripping the edge of her desk, which is barely big enough to accommodate her.
Around her, the other students seem perfectly content in their new reality. The majority have already transitioned to full-time Pampers, no longer expected to even attempt bathroom breaks. Many sit in their seats with thickly padded bottoms, others waddle freely around the classroom, their sagging diapers peeking out from beneath colorful onesies. Some suckle on pacifiers while listening to their teacher read a picture book aloud, their attention spans seemingly far removed from any concern about essays, exams, or college applications.
Emma isn’t like them. She remembers what school used to be.
"They call me ‘sweetie’ and ‘princess’ and pat my head when I get answers right. They make me sit crisscross-applesauce on the rug during storytime. They don’t teach math, they teach shapes. We have scheduled nap times. And worst of all?" She shifts uncomfortably, her thick pull-ups rustling beneath her skirt. "They won’t even let us use the bathroom like normal people."
Under the Pampers system, students are placed in protective undergarments based on their "developmental needs." For most, that means ultra-absorbent Pampers diapers, ensuring accidents never disrupt classroom learning. Only a handful, like Emma, are still permitted pull-ups, though even that comes with restrictions.
"I told them I don’t need them. I told them I can hold it during class. But guess what?" She clenches her fists. "I couldn’t."
She shakes her head, looking away. "And when you have an accident, they make a big deal about it. They take you to the ‘quiet corner,’ change you, tell you it’s okay, and give you a sticker for ‘trying your best.’ It’s humiliating. But the worst part?" She swallows hard. "The more accidents you have, the more they ‘adjust’ your routine."
At first, Emma was only required to wear pull-ups during class. Now, she’s in them full-time. She doesn’t know what the next "adjustment" will be.
"What happens if they decide I don’t need pull-ups anymore?" she whispers. "What happens if they decide I need…more?"
A Mother’s Concern: “I Don’t Know How Much Longer She’ll Last”
Emma’s mother, Debbie Hall, initially believed the program was an opportunity for her daughter to learn patience and adapt to new challenges. Now, she isn’t so sure.
"She’s been fighting this since day one," Debbie admits, rubbing her temples. "But every time she resists, the school just… doubles down."
At first, Emma refused to use her Pampers-issued pull-ups, insisting she would simply wait until she got home. It didn’t last.
"She told me she’d hold it," Debbie sighs, shaking her head. "She didn’t."
When the school called, Debbie was asked to bring a fresh pull-up and a change of clothes—a moment she describes as one of the most surreal experiences of her life.
"I stood outside the classroom, holding a pack of training pants meant for toddlers, about to hand them to my eighteen-year-old daughter." She exhales sharply. "I don’t know how much longer she’ll last before she stops fighting it."
And that, she fears, is exactly what Pampers wants.
Success Stories: “Happier, Healthier Students”
Despite cases like Emma’s, school officials and many parents insist the program is working. According to Superintendent Laura Whitmore, dropout rates have plummeted, student anxiety is at an all-time low, and behavioral issues are almost nonexistent.
"When we take away the pressures of growing up too fast, we allow students to flourish in a safe, nurturing space," Whitmore explains. "Pampers helps us create a structured learning environment where students can focus on emotional well-being and positive reinforcement.
Studies show that students in the program are better rested, less anxious, and more cooperative. Many enthusiastically embrace their new routine, growing attached to naptime, play-based learning, and the security of their Pampers uniforms.
"Some students come in fighting," Whitmore admits. "But as they settle into the routine, they come to appreciate the comfort and care we provide. And the best part? They never have to worry about making ‘big kid’ mistakes again."
The Future of Education?
With more schools adopting the Pampers model, traditional high school education may soon become a thing of the past. For students like Emma, who still long for independence, the future remains uncertain. But for many others, a world without adult pressures, expectations, or even bathroom breaks is a dream come true.
And as the Pampers program continues to expand, one thing is clear:
For the next generation, growing up may no longer be necessary.
(Sponsored in part by Pampers Corporation. Because learning should be comfortable.)

Recruit // intro
After years of training and spent effort, you, Mouse, finally get deployed to work with Task Force 141. You're eager, and you've got a...strange personality for a soldier. But you're good. You're really good.
Let's see if army life gets you killed! Or maybe laid.
TW free
—.—.—.—.—.—.—.—.—.—.—.—.—.—.—.—.—.—.—.—
Army life can not be an easy life to willingly follow. Many are unable to come back home to their families, and those who do come home come with deep wounds, both physical and psychological.
Yet here you are, three years of military school completed, a diploma in your hand, and your drill sergeant congratulating you as he shakes your hand.
You're one of the few women graduating. Not because women are weak, but because the school is sexist. Oh, but you weren't gonna give them a single reason to deny your entry. You had the best grades in the physical and written exams, an excelent performance in the psychological exam, even tho you didn't really understand how someone could be graded based on their psychological behavior and way of thinking. After an unholy amount of effort, you were accepted in the academy a few cities away from your hometown. Graduation day was something you didn't just look forward to, but you worked hard every single day to achieve it.
The routine in the academy was fairly simple. Wake up at 0500, shower and basic hygiene, breakfast, and getting dressed to be in the field at 0600. From there, your drill sergeant was in charge of every single one of your movements. And if you answered wrong... Well, you'd be mopping rain. Answering wrong wasn't necessarily just being disrespectful, even tho that was not an exception. If the sergeant said one and you answered with two, but he wanted three, you'd be mopping rain. If the sergeant said sit and you sat, but he wanted you sat criss cross and you weren't, you'd be mopping rain. If the sergeant said move and you moved too much or too little, mopping rain. If the sergeant said woo and you didn't say waa, mopping rain... If the sergeant - Well, you get the drill already.
Ahaha, get it? Drill? Drill sergeant? Pls laugh
Back into the story, the academy wasn't too bad. A few messed up people here and there... A few friends here and there as well, but, in general, you were glad you worked as hard as you did to get where you were.
Oh, and nicknames. Well, callsigns are also a name for it. You know some cute ones from the academy, and, by cute, I mean unhinged and probably not a name you should call someone on the street.
Jasmin. A grown man who always shaved his beard and drank tea to relax in the morning. He was made fun of, naturally, in a good-natured way, for probably being gay.
Princess. A fully grown man, tall like a light post, trained every muscle you could imagine in the human body every single day.
Wasabi. Some dude who decided it was a good idea to eat a spoonful of wasabi.
Not all of them were strange, unhinged, and probably seen like an insult outside context. There were some normal and cool ones, too.
Fox. A guy who was sly like a fox.
Shark. A girl who got bit by a shark once.
Bell. Just some odd callsign for a person, but normal nonetheless.
And then there was you. Mouse. You'd gotten the callsign from your drill sergeant, who was constantly calling you "little mouse." It was an insult. Meant as an insult, said as an insult. Nothing about it was good. It was about calling you small, weak, useless, and a coward.
But did you turn the meaning around...
A mouse. In the Oxford Dictionary, a small rodent that typically has a pointed snout, relatively large ears and eyes, and a long tail.
In their eyes, you were weak, small, a coward, too dumb to do anything but eat cheese... like a mouse.
In your eyes, the definition was a bit different. Small? Perfect for stealth. Pointed snout, equivalent to a good sense of smell. Large ears? Listening in on enemy intel. Large eyes? Great sight and precision in shooting. A long tail? Well, you weren't sure what to make of that, but it wasn't necessarily bad. Tails help with balance, after all.
Your callsign had become Mouse. Everyone called you that. And in that day, in your graduation, it became your official callsign.
"Small mouse makes it to the top after all." Your drill sergeant mutters out through his thick mustache as he shakes your hand firmly, his calloused and rough fingers from years of experience wrapping around your strong hands, ready to become used up by the years in the army you were signing up for.
All you do is give him a soft, yet respectful smile, and a nod. You've learnt to keep your mouth shut. It's hard, but you manage. The mysterious vibe fits you better in those type of environments, anyway.
It was only a matter of time before you were deployed after graduation. After a lot, and I mean a lot of consideration over at the high tables, you were finally deployed. Six months in an out of country base, in Mexico, as a recruit of Task Force 141.

A/N
Hi everyone! My name is Deya, and I have just created this account for the sole purpose of reading Price fic without having to try and find a good wattpad. Seeing everyone writing so freely and with basically no restraint sorta gave me confidence to start posting my own work here. It's sort of a self insert, but I've worded it so that it can be you in here, as well. I'm not sure how this will play out in likes and stuff, but I do have many more parts of the story in mind. I might keep posting it, in here, separated by parts, but all the same since I don't plan on writing anything else (for now).
But yeah! Let me know if you enjoy my content, and that'll certainly motivate me to keep posting my work here.
Also, I proofread it, but let me know if I missed anything! English isn't my first language, so I'm sorry if I worded anything not in the best way.
Bye Byee

Under the cut is a dossier to learn a bit more about Kafka & how I view her/how I will be portraying her. I hope this helps with understanding who Kafka is & how you can approach her. 🫶 This is a HEAVYYY wip & will be updated over time. (credit to the template here)
BASICS
Full Name: [REDACTED].
Known Alias(es): Kafka Flüstern.
Age: Age isn't of importance, however, her age range is that between 30's & 40's.
Gender: Cisgender female, she/her.
Zodiac: Scorpio.
Heritage: Kafka hales from a planet called Pteruges-V, birthed within New Babylon. Her planet doesn't grasp the concept of Fear, nor much of any emotion. While they can mimic these emotions, FEAR is something of genuine confusion & can't be produced. Due to her natural nature & how the people of Pteruges-V are created, Kafka set out to become a Hunter in an attempt at a fulfilling & exciting life, in hopes to feel such things.
Religion: Kafka doesn't have an EXACT pin point religion, though one could be the devotion to Elio & Destiny's Slave. She's a strict follower of The Script, deviating from it causes a disruption in her routine & daily life - something she isn't used to & tries to gain absolute control over. It is in her best interest to fulfil this script, going to great lengths that rules & examples are as followed.
Sexual & Romantic Orientation: Kafka is apathetic - leading her to become Aromantic & Asexual. Although, she can once again mimic such feelings, as well as partake in sexual activities under the guise of manipulation & creating an atmosphere of her own desire. She has no preference for the gender or species, (an example of other species are foxians. This going for any humanoid presenting species).
Status: Alive.
Residencies: There is no permanent residence, though Kafka tends to frequent the Astral Express (to bother the crew) & visit her little creation. (Stelle & Caelus).
Highest Education Level: Not much is known of her schooling life, however it's hinted that she has multiple diplomas out of sheer boredom & curiosity on all knowledge that had been available to her on Pteruges-V.
Occupation(s): Stellaron Hunter & Core Member of Destiny's Slave.
PHYSICAL EXAM
Facial Features: Heart shapes lips, angular jaw, small mole under left eye, emotionless expression in her eyes - smiling is never a true smile.
Voiceclaim: Tomori Kusunoki.
Eyes: Magenta/flamingo pink bases, salmon colored pupils, burgundy outter rings.
Hair: Mid back length, layered, always up which then reaches just to her shoulder blades.
Body Type: Tall, hourglass figure, visible muscle definition.
Height: 5'9".
MENTAL EVALUATION
Mental Illnesses: [REDACTED]
Psychological Profile: [REDACTED]
Alignment Type: Chaotic Evil.
Personality Type (MBTI): ENTJ.
Mannerisms: (Unconscious habits, nervous tics, or common gestures.)
Hobbies & Interests: (Leisure activities, intellectual pursuits, or obsessions.)
STRATEGIC ANALYSIS
Combat Style: (Brutal, strategic, erratic, refined?)
Weapon of Choice: A single katana, dual pistols.
Hand-to-Hand Combat Proficiency: (Strengths & weaknesses in close combat.)
Tactical Strengths: (Leadership, adaptability, patience, etc.)
Tactical Weaknesses: (Blind spots, arrogance, temper, emotional ties.)
Signature Techniques: (Favored moves or combat tricks.)
Pain Tolerance: Kafka feels pain, though can't express it in a way that she's IN pain, rather getting excited & often taunts with; "Is that all you got?"
Defensive Skills: Follow up attacker, often bringing out her gun to launch a few bullets after her allies have attacked prior.
AFFILIATIONS & RELATIONSHIPS
Family: Kafka has no living family members & their files are missing. They've all been long deceased as her planet succumbed to that of an Aeon.
Allies & Associates: Stelle, Caelus, Silver Wolf, Blade, Firefly, Elio.
Rivalries: The Astral Express Crew, Himeko specifically.
Enemies: The Xianzhou Luofu.
Romantic History: Kafka's romantic history is unknown, rather non-existent & it is hinted at there was something brief with the Astral Express member, Himeko Murata. Kafka also has entered a bit of a fling with Boothill, something messy & complicated... (in its own verse, developing with hatefueled).
HABITS & LIFESTYLE
Daily Routine: Kafka follows a strict daily routine - something learned on her planet & through Destiny's Script. Very rarely does she deviate from it, though when she does, it can sometimes derail her despite it bringing about an excitement.
Exercise Habits: She exercises regularly. Two hours of weight & combat training in the morning & another hour at the end of her day doing cardio.
Grooming Habits: Kafka ensures she's in top shape with hygiene. Always making sure to use her favorite & most expensive perfumes, hair products, facial creams, etc.
Substance Use: Kafka does indulge in alcohol & nicotine. She doesn't have a co-dependency on it, rather she does so in social situations instead of just doing it to do it.
Sleep Patterns: Sleep isn't entirely important, resting in four hour intervals will suffice. Though, occasionally Kafka prefers a nap during the day at some point - if she were entirely exhausted.
Personal Aesthetic: Kafka has a huge preference for stylish coats, her favorite coat is the one that she often fashions. Adorned with gold & silver accents as well, with aesthetics mimicking spiders.
Favorite Books: She's more so a fan of poetry vs. genuine books. Her favored poet is Edgar Alan Poe - Kafka also partakes in creating her own. Such poetry consists of gore, the human body, mind & soul.
Favorite Music Genres: Anything with violins & pianos. Vocals aren't her forte - she'd rather listen to the sounds rather than words.
Favorite Art/Architecture: That of the expensive variety, as cliche as it may be, she's quite fond of pieces such as the Mona Lisa.

hi milla! It’s so nice to see you around again, I’m so touched and happy for you that your life is so beautiful 🥹 you give me so much hope. I have the same dream of becoming a therapist, I’m autistic and have a GED because I had a horrific time in school in general as a kid. I’m 30 now and it intimidates me so much to go “back” to college (for the first time) not bc of my age but because it was so difficult the first time with undx autism amongst other things. I’m still undiagnosed officially today, and I always weigh whether or not I want go through with a dx, but my understanding is the only way I can get accommodations is with the official diagnosis. Do you have any words, thoughts, or advice for an autistic girlboy on a similar path to you? Thank you just for reading this I hope you have such a nice night 🫶
Honestly the 10+ years between my last attempt at post-secondary education were mostly me in a panic because I had my hs diploma and what felt like a brain that just didn't work with traditional education and a job market that demanded at minimum undergrad degrees for entry level jobs. It took a solid 10 years of my sister convincing me year after year for me to finally get on board and allow myself to try again. But yeah, I think a large part of why I'm able to be successful now is the knowledge I have of how my brain operates and my clinical diagnosis.
I think when it comes to accommodations at school or work, those are the only areas where the formal diagnosis has any worth. In pretty much any other area of life it's not necessary, but you do need to have formal diagnostic reports to give in for those accommodations. That being said the majority of my accommodations are for the adhd according to accessibility services at my school. I don't think they're very well versed in autism related accommodations but they know a lot about adhd so I have a recorder for class, access to digital copies of all my textbooks, a text-to-speech software for those digital texts and extra time in exams — all of those are specifically for adhd. So if you're auDHD i'd recommend getting an adhd assessment done because they're significantly cheaper and (I don't wanna say easier but) easier to get, people are more likely to believe you, more likely to take your self-reporting at face value, shorter assessment etc.
But like I said before, I think the accommodation is only half the reason I'm doing better, there's a ton of stuff I do for myself in the way of regulation, support for my "deficits", preparing myself for routines and possible changes, laying out my school info in a way that's most digestible for my brain bla bla bla. Those are things you don't need a diagnosis for but are work you can put in for yourself that can make a HUGE difference. I can talk more about that if you want but if you're not able to get a formal diagnosis please don't think that means school is ever off the table for you entirely.
Black and white tism thinking here but I tended to see school as an all or nothing situation. Either I was naturally great at it and had no problems, or I couldn't do it at all. So when I struggled I gave up quickly, but now I'm forcing myself to work through things and it turns out I don't have to be naturally gifted at something to still get really good results and good grades. And I think the same can be true for a lot of us, if we give ourselves the opportunity to make it happen.

Did not go as planned (Collage roommate Sneaker TF Story) PART 6 (Collage)

The wheel of time continues its relentless spin, but life doesn't get any easier for Alex and his family. His mother's grueling double shifts and Alex's two jobs barely make ends meet, while the bills and responsibilities seem to multiply by the day. Yet, despite the hardships, Alex remains focused on his education, first completing high school and now diving into community college courses whenever he can steal a moment. I watch—or rather, feel—this all unfold from my unique vantage point. Days turn into weeks, weeks into months, and months into years. I have been with him through every season, every part-time job, every exam, and every family crisis. Though I'm growing older and showing signs of wear, Alex's mother continues to work her miracles, patching me up here and there, extending my lifespan as good as she can.
In this long journey, Alex's scent has become so deeply embedded into me that it's become a part of my very fabric. It's the aroma of hard work, determination, and, dare I say, love. I've absorbed it all, each layer of scent adding another chapter to our shared story. Alex continues to hustle, squeezing in study sessions at the library, in the break room at work, and late into the night at the small table in their cramped living space. His eyes may be red from exhaustion, but they're also filled with hope, a glimmer that never goes out. He’s working for something bigger than himself, and I'm proud to carry him toward that future. As the years go by, it's clear that Alex is building towards something. Though the struggle is far from over, every time he laces me up, I feel an overwhelming sense of pride and honor. For Alex, I'm not just footwear; I'm a piece of his journey, a journey fraught with hardships but also rich in love, sacrifice, and unyielding resolve.
Did not go as planned (Collage roommate Sneaker TF Story) PART 7 (the End)
As Alex walks across the stage to receive his diploma in mechanical engineering, I can almost feel the weight of the parchment in his hands—though of course, I'm not there. I am, however, with him in spirit, imbued with years of his hard work, sacrifice, and hopes for a better future. His degree is not just a piece of paper; it's a triumph, a lifeline to new opportunities and a testament to his resilience and ambition. A few months and numerous interviews later, Alex lands a job in his field. It's a pivotal moment, one that promises to ease the burden of financial hardship that has weighed on him and his family for so long. Though he attempts to juggle this new job with his other commitments, he soon realizes that something has to give. With a heavy heart, he bids farewell to the grocery store job that saw him through so many years, thanking the manager who took a chance on him when he was just a kid. Though he leaves the grocery store, Alex opts to keep his morning paper delivery job. It now fits conveniently with his primary job's schedule, and perhaps there's a part of him that isn't quite ready to let go of that routine, that connection to a humbler time. With the new job, life starts to change for Alex and his family. The financial strain eases, albeit gradually, and there's a palpable sense of relief in the household. For the first time in a long while, there's breathing room, an ability to look toward the future rather than just surviving the present. And so, as Alex steps into this new chapter of his life, I continue to be with him every step of the way. His scent—now a complex blend of youthful struggle and adult achievement—is as ingrained in me as ever, a scent I've come to regard as the essence of resilience and hope.
Though Alex has been provided with workwear by his new employer, he continues to wear me, his trusty sneakers, showing his loyalty to something that's been with him through thick and thin. However, his boss takes notice of my worn-out state, likely drawing conclusions about Alex's financial background based on the condition of his clothing and shoes. One day, his boss presents him with a new pair of work-appropriate shoes. Though it goes against his emotional ties to me, Alex knows deep down that my years of wear and tear make me unsuitable for the rigors of his engineering job. Reluctantly, he accepts the new shoes, understanding their practical necessity. He wears them at work, but the moment he's off the clock, he switches back into me. Being replaced, even if it's just for the workday, stings initially. But then I realize that this is another transition in Alex's life, another sign of his upward mobility and the improving fortunes of his family. In that light, the new shoes don't feel like a replacement; they feel like a complement, another chapter in a story that has room for more characters. And so, in the evenings and on weekends, when the work shoes are set aside, Alex slips back into me. I savor those moments, the feel of his feet, the unique scent that I've come to adore. And each time he chooses to wear me during his free time, I feel a swell of pride and affection. After all, I am more than just a pair of shoes to Alex; I am a cherished companion in his life's journey.
It becomes a new routine for us: he wears the new, professional shoes for his job, but in the moments that matter—family outings, trips to the grocery store, or simply lounging around the house—it's me he chooses. And that choice says more than words ever could. I may not be the only pair of shoes in Alex's life anymore, but I know I still hold a special place in his heart. And that's more than enough for me.
Even as I witness the profound changes in Alex's life—the new job, the newfound financial security, and the lifting of old burdens—I can't help but feel a twinge of uncertainty when I see him bring home a brand-new pair of sneakers. Bought by his mother, no less, a woman who knows the value of hard-earned money and the sentimentality of treasured possessions.
As the weeks go by, Alex starts to wear the new sneakers more frequently, and I can sense a shift. From my spot near his bed, I watch as he increasingly chooses them over me. Though I would never begrudge him this new chapter of comfort and choice, I do wonder what this means for me. After all, to Alex, I'm just a pair of sneakers, and he has a new pair now. But even as I'm relegated to this less-active role, I take solace in my placement near his bed—a position of honor, it feels like. I may not be the shoes he slips on every day anymore, but I'm still here, still part of his life. Perhaps I've moved from being a daily necessity to being a cherished memory, a reminder of the journey he's taken to get to this better place. It's not the same as feeling the press of his feet or the warmth of his daily wear, but it's something. And in those quiet moments when he looks my way, perhaps recalling the miles we've walked together, I can't help but hope that someday, he might slip me on again, if only for old times' sake.
The End.
