I saw a post on here about dirkroxy and wanted to put in my two cents.

I personally do not like dirkroxy not because i think it's bad or wrong to ship Dirk with women, but because him facing Roxy's crush on him was such an important part of his character, development, and the fact alone that he basically has this big pity party for himself to cry over the fact that his best friend likes him and he can't like her back.

To me, Dirk's queerness /is/ an important part of his character, but that's not why dirkroxy doesn't click for me. Dirk adores Roxy as his friend and feels guilt for not being capable of liking her back, and on the other hand, a big part of Roxy's character development is being able to get over the hurdle of Dirk not liking her back and subsequently stop flirting with him. I think they have an amazing relationship and I'd even push for pale dirkroxy but I just don't understand redrom dirkroxy through my personal lense.

I'd like some feedback from anyone else who could maybe indoctrinate me into the redrom dirkroxy way of life.

I think that's a good reason for not being a fan of DirkRoxy.
