Hi! I really like what I've seen of Division 6, what can you tell me about em? They seem really cool :D

I won't go into TOO much detail about them, as that would be too much to fit into a single post, so here's the general rundown of WHO and WHAT they are!

Division 6 is one of the 7 church groups in a cursed town called Sunsbrooke - one that has had its connection to God completely severed due to advanced magic that was being used to allow creatures of hell to manifest in the waking world. as a consequence, almost nothing can enter or leave the town, as it loops infinitely back on itself. effectively shutting them in with the consequences of their actions.

The Church of The Abandoned, as part of the Condemned Ministry, established itself as a governmental entity, out of the many years of madness and anarchy that followed The Severing. and whatever folk remained just sortof blindly followed along with the remaining semblance of organized leadership that they had.

Divisions are an extension of the church given out to the layman, and most were recruited through a process known as the 'Discipleship Program' .

Division 6 is a division specifically designed to study and observe the effects of soul-splitting (exactly what it sounds like) on real people, with a submission of crippling cultist activity, by any means necessary.

Unsurprisingly, a lot of sects of religions and practice that most would view as satanic or immoral cropped up during the many years of anarchy, and with powerful magic being a contract and handshake away? who WOULDN'T want to give up their lives for a taste of that power.

These members are given access to BOTH suites of magic - holy and hell, something that has never been attempted since The Severing. through hard possession, one angel, and one Baphomet in each respective half of their soul. Something thought impossible, since angels are known for completely scorching the internals of all the cursed and impure vessels with souls unprepared to receive them. effectively killing their hosts.

And now, the church sits watching with bated breath. Waiting to see what will come of these 12 young adults. They've funneled a lot of resources into them, preparing them from birth, adoption, or just the tiniest spark of faith for their mission: purify Sunsbrooke, and reestablish their link to the heavens.

Ophir, The Maiden, was the final and most recent addition to the team, which has been running cult-crippling operations out of the church for almost a year now. She possesses the strongest connection to an Angel ever observed in all the years of the Ministry.

And so they sit as this militant group for their government, fighting for their faith, their friends, or whatever they have left.

Kate: I choose you then, Alfons.

Ring: I see...

Alfons: I suppose that is simply to be expected [1], seeing that Kate is positively head over heels for me.

Kate: I-I mean, yes, I do like you... but there’s more to this than that too...

K: From what I could see since arriving here at the manor, I felt you were cut out for this.

After all, he possessed an observant eye to catch the pair of bracelets, and he was also able to gather information about room assignments.

His quick judgment and reflexes were exceptional to say the least,

so even putting any favoritism aside, I still would have thought it better to choose Alfons.

Ring: ...I agree, I thought it was incredible how you used your ability.

R: I really do have a lot to learn. Even if I find it frustrating thinking that about someone as unpleasant as you.

R: I’m starting to see what Dari meant when he said this would be a good learning opportunity.

Alfons: If you so wish for it, Ring, I will be more than happy to teach you a great many things.

A: That said, I reckon there is nothing more important than being aware of your strengths and making them a part of yourself.

Ring: If I do that, will I someday be able to... um...

(...?)

While muttering to himself, Ring looked over at me.

——It was at that moment when Alfons, who was standing next to me, grabbed my chin.

Kate: Mn!?

And then my vision was filled to the brim with him as I realized I was being kissed.

Kate: mn...huu...ah...

(We’re... we’re still in front of Ring though...)

It was as though he was making a show out of it, his tongue intertwining with mine, making wet sounds and gently biting my lips.

I felt as though the embarrassment I was feeling would take me away any moment, but the kiss felt so good...

...and it wasn’t long before my mind was filled with nothing else but Alfons.

Kate: ...mn...

A while passed before, satisfied, Alfons let go.

Alfons: So, when you say, ‘If I do that, will I someday be able to...’

A: Would it be safe to say that you meant that you would like Kate here to acknowledge you as well?

Ring: Ah... yeah... I guess, something like that.

R: This time, I wasn’t able to do much.

Seeing the two of us suddenly initiate a kiss without so much as a warning, Ring responded with a somewhat resigned tone.

Kate: Well… I did choose Alfons this time, but that’s not to say you were incompetent in any way, Ring.

K: Your ability to take action today has helped a lot… so really, thank you.

Ring: …Is that so? Then I’m glad.

Alfons: For the record… I have absolutely no intention of handing the role of being Kate’s lover to you.

A: Whether for a mission or in private, not now, and not ever, yes?

After we separated from Ring, we entered the room we were aiming for and completed the mission.

Kate: Looks like we managed to get a hold of the deal’s time and place without issue.

Alfons: That we indeed did. And now that we have completed this mission without so much as a hitch, why don’t we head back?

Kate: …

Alfons: Is there something on your mind?

Kate: I do find it this bit hard to say… but since I don’t want to mull on it, I’ll just say it outright.

K: Alfons, are you angry?

Alfons: …Now whatever makes you think that?

Kate: I mean, this room is meant for doing those kinds of things…

K: So, you know, I thought that you would have pushed me down on the bed by now, under normal circumstances.

K: Or maybe ask if we could do a medical role play, seeing as we have a stethoscope here that we used to eavesdrop on them, something like that…

Alfons: Ahha! I do find myself wondering just what your mind is making of me, coming up with such scenarios?

Kate: ‘A walking offense to public morals.’

Alfons: Well… I suppose there is some truth to that.

Even being told that, Alfons still seemed unclear.

(At first I thought he was angry, but I can’t think of anything that would make him so in the first place.)

(…Unless.)

Kate: You’re not angry, but rather sulking… is that it?

Alfons: Sulking, you say…

Kate: Not that I know why, but I guess… you sort of came off that way a bit, so.

Alfons: …

A: I, for the love of me, could not make any sense of this. It’s the first time I’m feeling something so strange, so what to call this was positively beyond me.

A: But now that you mention it, perhaps it is as you say.

The Alfons in front of me looked like a child who didn’t know what to make of what he was feeling, and seeing that, I couldn’t help but feel slightly worried.

Kate: Do you know why you may be feeling this way?

Alfons: Because of Ring, if I had to say.

A: You were practically spoiling him so much, what could I do other than be by my lonesome and sulk away?

(So, did he kiss me in front of Ring out of spite? But even so…)

Kate: To be clear, I wasn’t spoiling Ring.

Alfons: But you were following him and whatnot, no?

A: I assume you would tire of a lecherous scoundrel like myself and find yourself drawn to someone more pure in disposition, no?

(How to say it… Alfons seems a tad bit… troublesome?)

(…But I also can’t help but think that very side of him is just as endearing as well.)

Kate: The reason I’ve been following Ring, as you say…

K: …is because I wouldn’t like it if he got the wrong idea about you being someone who only relished in other’s reactions.

K: Besides, he did say in the beginning that if anything happened, he would cut them down… and if possible, I would like to avoid a fight that came down to that.

Alfons: …

Kate: And all that aside, weren’t you the one who wanted Ring to come along in the first place?

K: If you didn’t like Ring, you could’ve chosen one of the other two.

Alfons: Darius seems to have a questionable character at best, and Nica looks to be a philanderer. I would want to play with anyone but those two.

Kate: Aside from that, though, were you also thinking I’d get involved with them?

Alfons: Yes, actually, very much so, considering of all people, the one you have fallen in love with was me.

(Urgh, I can’t argue with that…)

Kate: …My feelings won’t ever sway. The only one I’ll ever like is you, Alfons.

K: Besides, you are also the one who made me think of nothing but you, right?

When I tried to clearly make my point so he would believe me, Alfons finally relaxed and gave me a smile.

Alfons: Indeed… then, one last thing.

A: You’re quite drawn to Ring, are you not?

Kate: T-that is…

Alfons: Unfortunately, I am not so easily fooled. I do watch over you closely, after all.

Kate: I won’t deny being a bit drawn to him. But it’s not in any romantic way.

K: What I mean to say is Ring is like a younger brother who is in his rebellious phase… do you not feel that way toward him as well?

K: I see the world with you at its center. And if that’s the case…

K: …then I end up seeing Ring as like a tall younger brother, so I can’t help but want to spoil him, so to speak…

Alfons: ……… [surprised]

Kate: And when he said he had a lot of experience, he was probably lying about that. And so I felt like I couldn’t leave him alone.

Alfons: …Pfft, ahahaha! Now that is something I was not expecting…

A: That said, I do see where you come from. One just cannot help but want to tease someone like him.

Kate: Do go easy on him though, okay?

Alfons: I wiiill.

With that weight off his chest, a refreshing smile played on his lips.

Alfons: Then, how about we do a role play? One where ‘it’s my first time,’ that is.

summary: the kids go into protective mode after someone flirts with y/n at the beach

Novie was the first to notice. Her little eyebrows furrowed as she tugged on her oldest brother's top. At only 6 years old, she was the youngest and only girl out of the styles family, she was a replica of her mother was what Harry said the day she was born and has said every day since then.

“Yes, Vivi. What’s up?” Theo asked, raising his eyebrow and looking ever so lovingly at his youngest sibling. His eyes were a darker shade of green and his hair dark brown, he was his father's twin. Standing a little over six foot at just 18 years old, he towered over the little girl.

“I don’t like that guy” Novie pointed, directing her brother's attention to the man standing a tad bit too close to their mother, who was currently standing in line to get some ice cream. “He’s looking at Mama weirdly” she states. This gets the attention of the two other styles boys, Blake and Indi, who lift their sunglasses and look over at their siblings.

They were on holiday, somewhere in the Caribbean, enjoying the last few days of the winter break before they had to get back to England to go back to school. Harry was on his stomach, snoozing away, his back smothered in the suncream y/n put on him earlier before she decided to get the kids ice cream.

Blake scoffs as he gets up from the beach towel, giving it a minute, watching the way the guy continues to ogle their mother despite the massive rock on her ring finger and the “Harry” tattoo on her collarbone. Blake was the hot-headed one, at 16 years old, he was slightly taller than Theo, his hair slighter longer. The perfect mix of his parents, definitely getting his dad's temper.

“If he as much as touches mum it’s game over” Blake states.

“I bet he’s going to ask her who we are” Indi speaks, he was the quietest out of the four. A lot more into his books and video games, and more of an introvert. He was 12, and already wise beyond his years.

“He’ll shit it when he finds out she’s our mum” Blake replies, his dark eyes staring intensely at the way the guy laughs, y/n looks over and the kids give her all a wave to which she smiles widely and waves back.

“Here we go,” Theo says, chuckling as he hears the guys gasp.

“No way you’re a mum” the guy gasps, his hand coming to lift his sunglasses off his eyes. “To an eighteen-year-old?! What! You look insanely good”

“We had him young” y/n chuckles awkwardly, looking over at the kids.

They watch on as the guy points to the ice cream that was just placed in her hand, assuming he asked to pay for it. “He’s tryna ask her out”

“That’s messed up, she’s clearly married”

“Her rings the size of Novie's head, can’t he see” Blake scoffs making Theo chuckle.

“Some guys are just divs and like married women” Theo replies, shrugging.

“That’s so fucked up”

“Right? So fucked up” Novie says making Theo sigh.

“Don’t say that Nov. Blake, watch your mouth” Theo says, before clapping his hand on the back of his brother's backs, “it’s time guys” he states as they watch the guy's hand brush over y/ns as he hands her some tissue to clean off the melting ice cream in her hand.

Theo ducks down to Novie. “You know what to do right, Novie Bear?” He fist bumps her.

“I’ve got it, Teddy Bear. Project rescue mum is underway” Theo chuckles at her nickname for him. He nods at Indi to follow her and the two set off to their mother, an innocent-looking adorning their faces.

“Mama” they hear Novie say as she wraps her hands around their mother's middle, Y/n smiles at her daughter as she hands the ice cream off to Indi who takes a lick. Y/n knows her kids like the back of her hand, she knows what they’re doing and it makes her chuckle softly to herself, just like their father she thinks. Harry was the one that instilled the project rescue mum into them, telling them to take care of their mother whenever he wasn’t around.

“Yes, baby girl? Are you alright?” Y/n asks as she ruffles her hand through her daughter's locks before looking over at her son who leans over to kiss her cheek.

“Can we go get some coconuts?” She looks up at her mother, with an innocent smile.

“Do you like coconut water?” The guy asks, causing Indi to scoff. “I could go get it for you? Would you like that?”

“No no it’s fine, truly thank you” Y/n replies just as her two older sons join her. The two boys tower over the guy and he has to look up to see them. They’re big, just like their dad, looking a lot older than their actual age.

“Hey mum, you nearly done?” Theo asks as Y/n is handed another ice cream from the man making them. Theo takes it off her with a smile.

“Nearly, just got another two left” she replies.

“It’s fine, Blake and I could wait for them, why don’t you go take Vivi to get her coconuts?” Theo offers and y/n nods before smiling.

“Thank you, angel”

“Make sure to get dad some as well, you know how he gets when he has to share his coconut water, he’s obsessed” Blake sniggers as everyone catches onto what he’s trying to imply. Harry hates coconut, especially coconut water, but that’s not important.

“Just like how he’s obsessed with you, right mama?” Novie asks, tugging on her mum's hand.

“Oh yeah, dad's insane about mum, he loves her so much” Indi speaks up, “oh look he’s awake, wave at him guys” The whole family waves at Harry who looks over with a smile, his hand up in the air. His hair was just growing back, so they stuck up awkwardly making him look so endearing. But as he gets up, his muscles flexing, it causes the guy to swallow before he excuses himself.

“Some men are disgusting, flirting with a married woman” Blake can’t help but say and without a doubt the guy heard him but he chose not to look back.

Harry comes up to his wife just as the last two ice creams are handed over to Theo. “How’s my perfect family doing?” He asks, snaking his hands around his wife’s middle before leaning in to kiss her cheek. He ruffles the boy's hair before pulling away and kissing Novie's cheek.

“Oh alright, just scaring off men as usual” Y/n laughs.

“men that have no shame” Theo adds.

“Who blatantly flirts with a woman whilst her whole family is there” Indi says and Harry rolls his eyes.

“Men who need their di-“

“Ok we get it Blake” Harry chuckles, before leading his family back.

“I swear, they’re just like you” y/n smiles, as Harry tugs her closer.

“I’ve taught them well, they know you’re our number one priority babe,” he says as he kisses her cheek before taking a quick bite out of Blake’s ice cream. The family chuckles and go back to enjoying their time under the sun.

*ੈ˚ Jake is a bit flexible with the ages he regressed to, often 8-10, but sometimes he drops a bit smaller to 4-6!!

*ੈ˚ on the occasions Jake is regressed to his older ranges,, he's very much of a trouble maker for Chris

*ੈ˚ ^ im talking like,, he is the biggest brat ever (affectionate)

*ੈ˚ ^^ not listening 2 requests,, asking excessive questions (w/ intents of avoiding having 2 do what hes asked 2),, n going silent whenever asked direct questions or dancing around having 2 answer

*ੈ˚ its frustrating at first 4 Chris, but he ends up finding fun ways to coax Jake into listening 2 him

*ੈ˚ making fun games, rewording his requests, the whole 9 yards

*ੈ˚ ^ I think it'd b ESPECIALLY effective if he brings in rewarding systems,, sticker charts, praise and treats whenever he listens,, just being more affirmative and positive 4 him,, I think it'd make Jake feel soso good about himself

*ੈ˚ he generally is more independent, but when he's much, much younger, he prefers to be around Chris,, taking up as much attention as possible in subtle ways

*ੈ˚ Chris is the ONLY one around that can carry Jake with ease,, n its a fact both loved n hated by little Jake

*ੈ˚ Jake hates whenever he's picked up n he's on the older spectrum, only ever letting it happen if he's needing to grab something n wants to do it himself,, Chris only ever does it otherwise if he's getting Jake to bed

*ੈ˚ when Jake is on the younger side however? he absolutely ADORES it,, loving to be picked up, held close,, making him feel a little safer,, especially since I think he'd luvv more pressure in hugs n stuff

*ੈ˚ ^ that being said,, I don't think he'd evr directly ask Chris 4 it,, only if he's feeling particularly needy n needs the comfort

*ੈ˚ ^^ instead, I think he'd just b super huffy n not subtly trying to get closer if Chris happens 2 b sitting on the couch,, eventually curled up next 2 his side if hes feeling extra little n sleepy,, denying it if Chris suggests it's time 4 a nap or bed

*ੈ˚ Chris is always super welcoming whenever Jake is clingy n wants attention even if Jake is shy about it,, never hesitating 2 just scoop him up whenever he picks up on the signs of his kiddo wanting the care

*ੈ˚ nap time is either the BANE of Jakes existence, or he is practically swooning at the thought of laying down n getting cozy

*ੈ˚ he's either fighting tooth n nail w/ Chris, refusing 2 let himself get tucked in until many promises and coaxes are given & he's promised a bedtime story

*ੈ˚ or,, on the flip side,, he's just supr quiet,, clinging on and not letting go as he makes it very obvious Chris needs 2 lay down with him,, unable to sleep until they're both cozy n Chris promises he won't leave while he's napping

*ੈ˚ it's so subtle but I think Jake would have very small signs of fearing being abandoned,, unintentionally showing it whenever he's younger as he's always making Chris promise 2 stay or come back

*ੈ˚ Chris is always super gentle with him whenever he asks too,, always being extra assuring n giving small pats on his head n shoulders B4 he goes 2 do whatever he needs 2 do,, sitting a little closer n hovering when he comes back 2 make sure Jake is doing fine

*ੈ˚ I think bath time n bedtime would also b very important for Jake,, the one time he's more compliant 4 Chris

*ੈ˚ it'd b a really important thing 4 Jake 2 feel clean whenever he's little,, always extra happy whenever he's all dressed up in soft n clean clothes after baths,, beaming at Chris after brushing his teeth

*ੈ˚ Chris loves to see it too, seeing Jake so happy with himself after getting all cleaned up and ready for bed or the day depending on when it is

*ੈ˚ I think Jake would also loveee 2 have Chris read 2 him,, cozy in bed cuddling his plushies or Chris,, lulled to sleep by his soothing voice,, maybe teasinf a bit b4hand about his little reading glasses if he has them

*ੈ˚ I can imagine Chris always having a fun time teasing Jake, especially when he's on the younger side,, teasingly babying him,,

*ੈ˚ despite being a bit of a meanie w all his excessive teasing, he's also supr gentle with reassurance if Jake ever gets genuinely upset by it

*ੈ˚ reassuring rubs on the back n promises he didn't mean it,, hugging it out if Jake's up 2 it,, mayb even settling down 2 okay cars with him

*ੈ˚ Jake is an absolute car FANATIC whenever he's little,, loving 2 collect hot wheels

*ੈ˚ I think he'd maybe even have some ken dolls,, if only 2 have bigger cars n have them sit in it,, only ever really making stories with them if he has playdates with Sherry or Helena

*ੈ˚ ^ I think one of the girls would also end up convincing Jake 2 have a few girl dolls too, making him think more about having cool biker girls n loving those storylines with them more than the guys since he never sees them often in the cartoons he watches that focus on cars

*ੈ˚ I can fully imagine Chris n Jake loving to play outside

*ੈ˚ ^ really ambiguous in what I mean,, I mean like I think they'd luvv 2 go hiking together,, especially Jake,, he would lovee the trees n climbing them whenever he's older

*ੈ˚ Jake being all huffy when he can't climb too high,, or if he can't climb at all if he's little, using Chris as something to climb instead since he's not allowed to hang off the trees like a little monkey anymore

*ੈ˚ ^ Chris finding it both amusing and adorable whenever Jake does it too, loving it when his little guy is willingly attaching himself 2 him even if it's a form of spite

*ੈ˚ I think that, despite Jake not really being a stuffies kiddo,, he would luvvvv this certain bear plushie Chris got him at the start of them forming a bond after Chris found out he regresses

*ੈ˚ ^ said bear is a grizzly, and she is affectionately named Berry

*ੈ˚ Berry is a huge source of comfort 4 Jake, often a security blanket 4 him whenever he's feeling anxious or upset

*ੈ˚ Jake is often carting Berry around too,, either in a car or in Jakes arms,, sometimes on his shoulders if he feels like she should see from higher ground too

*ੈ˚ whenever Chris is busy, or simply isn't getting the hint on Jake's want for comfort n affection, he'll simply latch onto Berry,, burying his face in her fluffy fur,, mumbling quietly to her about his thoughts n feelings, often about how stupid paperwork is and how silly Chris is

*ੈ˚ ^ Chris overhearing and butting in occasionally, often agreeing paperwork is yucky for little guys like him,, sometimes dramatically hurt from being called silly

*ੈ˚ I think one of Jakes favorite activities w/ Chris is probably reading together

*ੈ˚ curling up into Chris' side... Maybe having a sippy,, watching him point at the words as he speaks,, a cozy blanket on his lap with Berry nestled into his arms

*ੈ˚ I think Chris being patient with Jake, helping him read, sounding things out with him, would mean a lot to the ginger

*ੈ˚ words would b a tough thing 4 Jake 2 understand,, having it explained gently n letting him take breaks whenever he's frustrated would b a huge learning curve 4 him

*ੈ˚ Chris is so soft with Jake,, I think being able 2 take care of his bubs would help him out a lot emotionally,, getting to take care of him n making him feel safe is the most rewarding feeling 2 him,, especially since he gets to help n teach him how 2 do little things n self-regulate
