#fallforcostume Day 17: Plaid⁠ ⁠ We've often told the story of how we turned a pile of literal trash into a set of Devil May Cry costumes, and Lady's ammo pouch skirt remains one of my favorite recycling examples. Two days before the convention, I pulled a bunch of green fabric scraps out of our sewing room trash can, pieced and stitched them together, wrapped them over some dollar store pencil cases, and assembled Lady's distinctive garment. Then I hand-painted the plaid pattern over the entire skirt/pouch assembly with some acrylic craft paint.⁠ ⁠ Lady is my favorite of the DMC femmes fatale, and I would love to cosplay her again! Still no new content as STILL in room rearranging Hell lol. Plus Instagram keeps removing my followers and reach is total crap House (thanks @Instagram #notreally ) but as I’ve finically finished DMC5, here’s one of my fav shots of my fem Nero cosplay taken by @creed_photography :D I’ll keep it all spoiler free (so please keep any comments spoiler free!) but I LOVED DMC5. I had guessed many things so it was great to finally have confirmation and have more elements to the plot tied together. I still miss Nero’s beautiful DMC4 face LOL but I loved everything else about the game. Dante is badass as usual, and V is something different and surprisingly likeable. As always, the design and style is stunning and the addition of a basic photo mode made me so happy. I’d love to be able to pause mid cutscene though to take some snaps!! All that said, I’m finally ready to finish my fem Vergil cosplay, as well as adding another possible version of fem Nero...maybe Lady (old school)...and who knows, maybe a fem Dante one day haha. I think I’ll leave him to @leonchiro though 😉😎 Who else here is a DMC fan? Which is your favorite game?
