Long before his signature “Th-th-th-that’s all folks!” echoed through living rooms, Porky was a soft-spoken, brainy little pig from a quiet corner of rural France. He was taken in by Agnes and Esther Montcrieux, self-proclaimed culture connoisseurs with a taste for luxury, fame, and overly dramatic espresso-making. They weren’t interested in raising a piglet—they wanted a star.

I don't know why I felt the need to share this with you so if you're bored that's ok, but I am so fascinated with the reception of all your ocs due to some informal research i did earlier in the summer in regards to The Brother's Karamazov (imo, super dense, but one of the best novels ever written). If you haven't read it, the plot is centered around three brothers the oldest Dmitri (a self-proclaimed scoundrel who loves partying and women and spending money), Ivan who is a sort of tortured intellectual but also very vulnerable, and Alyosha who is really the golden child and never makes a wrong move, moral, upright, kind etc.

Anyway, I got most of my friend circle to read it and by far and away, Alyosha was the favorite, and I get it, because duh, what's not to love. The groups that loved the other brothers were smaller but very devoted and had really compelling reasons for connecting with them. I'm sorry if this all seems totally pointless, but I've watched a similar process play out with your blog and it's so fun because I would definitely associate Lu with Alyosha, Maureen with Dmitri, and Ivan with Ida and while Lu has a really lovely and large fanbase, I also see the passion for Ida and Maureen and I kinda love watching this play out again.

Anyway, it's funny sometimes, because the brothers are very different and we would get so passionate defending our favs, but they didn't exist without their bonds with one another and I think the same could be said for your cool ocs. We root for our own, but in the long run, they root for eachother and are willing to accompany each other into hell and back - or where the author throws them!

Sorry about this, haha! But suffice to say, relating anything to one of my favorite novels ever is the deepest honor I could give anyone, so if you take anything away from this, let it be that! haha. Also I HAVE TOO MUCH TIME ON MY HANDS OBVIOUSLY

Mercredi 18 mai 2022 à 19H, nouvelle émission de la Petite Boutique Fantasque, exceptionnelle à plus d’un titre : - tout d’abord le choix du sujet : la commande par une danseuse appelée Maud Allan d’un ballet à Claude Debussy au tout début du XXème siècle dont le titre est Khamma - ensuite sur la forme : à partir d’un canevas proposé par Guillaume nous aurons des interventions de divers participants à cette histoire et illustré musicalement. Nous aurons aussi l’argument du ballet lu sur le ballet lui-même pour approcher un peu du dessein des deux protagonistes - c’est un projet radiophonique ambitieux : faire partager la vie de Maud Allan, danseuse peu connue et sa collaboration avec Debussy pour un ballet jamais (ou très peu) joué et depuis oublié - et enfin il aura fallu plus d’un an pour passer du projet parisien à la diffusion toulousaine

Cette série de trois émissions dont vous allez écouter la première ont été amoureusement imaginées, finement écrites et parfaitement interprétées par Guillaume. SUMMARY: Kailan and Connor are sent to Ashckerton Academy, in Ireland. This old castle that works as school for so many underground species: vampires, witches, werewolves, faes, angels, dragons. They were there before, but their parents took them out for reasons that they don't know. Strange things start to happen in Ashckerton because Kailan and Connor are so similar to two of the original leaders of the vampires. Will they leave beside their fear and fight whatever that is happening in the castle?

EXCERPT.

“The idea of attending the Ashckerton Academy was not at all tempting. What was the joke about hanging out with a bunch of spoiled, rich kids from more real families? Yes, learning about advanced magic and mastering more of their powers sounded great, but otherwise the idea didn't appeal to her. She couldn't imagine wearing the ridiculous uniform, or attending classes, let alone interacting with more underground.

However, her mother had been strict and direct with her order. And to disobey her could be considered a capital sin and an offense worthy of death.

Put another way, it was an obligation to go to Ashckerton. No buts, no objections, and no attempts at persuasion to change her mind. Emma Grey was very persistent in making her decisions and even her husband could not convince her otherwise. Not even Kailan, who had the same temperament and was almost similar to her in personality.

It wasn't going to be easy. She had grown accustomed to the quiet of Halldray Castle, where they lived, and to socializing only with her family and the thousands of books in her father's library. Besides, she didn't think she'd really fit in at Ashckerton.”

Kailan Grey. 17. She keeps great powers, and hides them because she’s very dangerous with them. When she first arrives at Ashckerton, Kailan believes that she will not fit in, but actually, she founds great friends that are worth to fight for.

Connor Grey. 17. Kailan’s twin. He’s the one with the idea of getting back to Ireland because he knows that their parents are hiding them something huge and tries to find out what is it... But the answer to his mystery goes beyond of what he was thinking.

Maggie Beckett. 17. She has a big and golden heart, is so loyal with her friends and protects them at every cost.

Malik Anderson. 17. The most powerful black witch ever. Malik proves to herself what she is capable of and who she would risk even her life for.

Natasha Novikova. 18. Delicate killer, who protects the ones she loves, and shows what she’s capable to do.

Mes crushs ou plutôt mes crashs

Parce que j’ai trop aimé l’article de Maëlle, je me suis dit que j’allais vous faire ma version de l’histoire, parce qu’on ne ri jamais assez du malheur des autres (ici: du mien).

1. Je suis en maternelle, il a les cheveux “jaunes” et est vraiment mignon. Par contre c’est un énorme baraki, mais au moins il est gentil. Il m’aimait aussi, la vie était belle, jusqu’à ce qu’il déménage à Tournais. Maintenant il est très moche et en plus il s’appelle Daïron.

2. On passe direct au secondaire parce qu’en primaire j’étais, certes entourée de garçons, mais surtout un vrai garçon moi-même (j’étais la seule fille de mon âge dans mon école). Du coup les crushs et autres c’était pas mon soucis. DONC: 1ère secondaire. Il est dans ma classe, est clairement le plus beau mec de l’année, s’appelle Léo et a des origines italiennes. Petit +: on devient “meilleurs potes” quand on part au Maroc en échange. Par contre, gros malaise: je manque de le pécho par inadvertance plusieurs fois en voulant lui faire la bise. Au final il se rabat sur la plus belle meuf de l’année et sort avec elle durant quatre ans.

3. C’était pas très grave, je reviens vite de la déception que fut Léo pour avoir un crush sur un beau grand blond (le come back des blonds) nommé Robin, qui est en cours de vie antique avec moi. Son exposé sur les ziggourats (j’étais déjà trop fan de Mésopotamie à l’époque visiblement) restera gravé dans mon esprit à tout jamais. On sympathise, lui aussi était au Maroc d’ailleurs, et il me présente son petit frère qu’il veut faire sortir avec ma soeur. Pour cela, il me donne une photo où il est avec son frère pour le montrer à ma soeur. Au final j’accroche la photo au dessus de mon lit mais ne sort jamais avec Robin :/

4. Celui-là il est drôle car c’est vraiment ma première grosse déception. Le type déjà s’appelle TIMOTHEE, c’est le meilleur ami de Robin (on est toujours en première d’ailleurs, mais l’histoire avec lui s’étale jusqu’à la deuxième) et on devient vraiment potes. Je commence mes premiers flirts (huhu) mais ça se résume à le taquiner BEAUCOUP trop, du genre à dire que sa veste est, je cite: “en matière sac poubelle, et qui plus est de la même couleur”. Bref. En plus le mec est très susceptible, du coup ça passe très moyen. Première déception, c’est quand je reçois par erreur un message de lui “j’ai écrit j’aime Célia sur ma farde <3″ qu’il devait envoyer à la fameuse Célia avec qui il avait commencé à sortir. Deuxième déception: Il me demande des nudes quand il est plus avec elle, j’ai 13 ans et surtout rien à montrer (il n’a rien eu). Dorénavant il sort avec la même fille depuis au moins 6-7 ans, mais ce n’est pas la Célia.

5. Nous passons dans le coeur du sujet, le crush le plus ultime car lui a duré loooongtemps. Je parle bien sur de mon bon vieux Matthias. Vous vous souvenez du cours de vie antique? Et bien lui aussi, il était là. Et pendant que j’étais en classe à faire de la merde avec Robin, lui était derrière nous, en train de CRUSHER SUR MOI (vous avez bien lu!!! c’est arrivé un jour!). Monsieur est fils d’une prof donc il fout un peu la merde en classe à faire le zigoto, mais au fond il est pas méchant. Un jour (il n’est pas dans ma classe, juste avec moi en option), alors qu’une prof lui fait “lol les amoureux ça va on vous dérange?” alors qu’il était en train de parler avec sa voisine de classe, celui-ci répond “non moi je préfère Flavie”. Jurez ça partait pas trop bien cette histoire??? Mais ça n’a duré qu’un an, après la première secondaire, il avait arrêté son crush, et moi... commencé le mien... qui a duré jusqu'à la rhéto... Il aura droit à son propre article parce qu’il y a trop à dire sur lui. Sachez juste qu’il a broke my heart, que je me levais le matin juste pour le voir à l’école, que j’ai accumulé toutes les infos que je pouvais savoir sur lui (je le connais mieux que lui-même, c’est archi pas une blague, il me le dit encore souvent), que j’ai été jusqu'à lui appliquer de la crème solaire sur le dos en disant “wow c’est vraiment les corps comme le tien que je trouve magnifiques” (j’étais désespérée ok???) pour qu’au final, à l’heure actuelle, on soit juste très bons amis (n’empêche wallah j’ai tjrs une petite passion pour les corps gringalets dits “de lâches”).

6. Crush passagé sur un mec de rhéto roux et gay askip. Je sais même pas son nom. Je suis en 4ème.

7. Du lourd car on arrive sur Adrien aka mon premier copain (le mec avec qui je suis restée trois semaines là), qui est aussi un ami à Matthias. Je suis en 5ème, je suis prise dans la pièce de théâtre de l’école, et je m’éclate comme une malade. J’y rencontre ma meilleure amie, les autres de la troupe sont comme ma mifa, en plus un mec me kiffe??? Que veut le peuple? La réponse: tout mais pas la manière dont cette histoire s’est finie. Retenez juste qu’il a su partir en Argentine grâce (indirectement) à moi et que Matthias et lui sont partis ensemble au Maroc (encore) alors que j’étais sensée y partir avec Adrien bref je me fais deux fois niquer mdrrrr. Il aura droit à son article aussi, vous inquiétez pas, en plus de l’anecdote théâtre.

8. Rhéto, je crush sur un mec roux avec un GRAND NEZ (en plus du crush sur Matthias tjrs hein), un an plus jeune que moi, fils de ma prof de bio. Je pense qu’il s’appelle Thomas. Dans ma toute grande discrétion, je profite des festivités de la Saint-Nicolas pour “l’aborder” et lui écrire “T BG <3” sur le front à la peinture, mais heureusement c’est illisible et j’ai évité une honte générale. Mais grâce à ce type, je me suis fait un nouveau pote qui avait entendu parler de mon crush sur Thomas de manière tout à fait bizarre, et il me servait d’agent secret pour me rapporter des infos sur le type. Ah oui et Thomas c’est le cousin ou je sais pas quoi de Robin, comme quoi on y revient toujours.

9. Mon mec actuel, j’ai nommé: Gégé. Il arrive peu après l’énorme râteau de Matthias (à qui je n’ai même pas demandé de sortir avec moi en plus). Je le rencontre à une soirée à Liège où je ne connais personne, j’y rencontre également Nicoco et Alix d’ailleurs. Le boug fini mort soul mais on ri bien, on s’échange non nums et depuis ce jour il ne s’est pas passé un seul jour sans qu’on s’écrive. Le lendemain de la rencontre, j’écris sur Twitter “ce garçon était vraiment très beau” et ma pote qui m’a invité à la fête le voit et me demande si c’est le fameux Gégé, je nierai jusqu’au jour où il m’invitera à sortir avec lui. J’oublie les gros détails: Il est en couple depuis deux ans avec une maxi belle gosse plus âgée quand je le rencontre, et ce jusqu’au jour même où il me demande de sortir avec lui quelques heures après que sa meuf l’ai plaqué lui, ce qui m’a valu (et me vaut toujours) le sobriquet de “sparadrap”.

10. L’EXCEPTION: Mini attirance en Russie pour un de mes potes, hockeyeur sur glace (c’est tout à fait stylé, surtout qu’il était le gardien), de 16 ans (la jeunesse oui), qu’on nommera Dmitri. Je le connais car c’est un très bon ami d’un autre étudiant d’échange, Italien lui, et qui EST EN CRUSH SUR MOI LOL (cette histoire là se termine en malaise). Il est turbo susceptible mais le courant passe hyper bien entre nous, on boit bien (il me vole notamment ma bouteille de limoncello)  et on se dispute à propos du foot donc quoi de mieux?(c’est hyper beauf). Je lui apprends le français, il m’oblige à parler russe, on parle parfois sur Insta,... bref je le voyais pas souvent mais c’était toujours un plaisir de le voir. La dernière fois qu’on se voit, c’est une gigantesque beuverie de fête de départ, on est mort bourrés car on boit de la vodka+whisky+ ce qui traine de buvable (y’a une photo de notre état déplorable). On sort de la fête et on décide de faire un tour en ville, dans la pénombre (la vue est splendide for real) et on se tient bras dessus-bras dessous, il hurle des chants de foot d’Arsenal, mais j’vous jure la scène est magnifique à voir car tout est beau. On rit, on chante, le paysage est splendide, il fait bon en plus, et je profite de mes derniers jours en Russie. Mais comme tout à une fin, il est temps pour lui de reprendre le Yandex taxi pour rentrer chez lui. On sait que c’est la dernière fois que l’on se voit, les adieux sont longs. On arrive pas à se quitter. Puis simplement, il me fait un tout petit smack de rien du tout et il rentre dans le taxi. Ça termine la soirée en beauté, surtout quand il envoie “Au revoir, ma princesse *coeur orange car il sait que c’est ma couleur fav*”. Depuis, on parle toujours(=on se dispute surtout quant au foot), quand il fait des lives sur insta, je suis tjrs au rdv car n’empêche, il reste un bon pote. Il m’a également appelé pour me souhaiter un bon retour au pays le jour avant que je quitte ma ville. Bref un chic type alors que la toute première fois que je lui ai parlé, j’ai littéralement dit “je mange ton concombre”.

Voila c’était la liste de tous mes crushs, y’en a qui finissent bien mais les meilleurs auront droit à leur propre story time, comme promis plus haut.
