Death Note AU: In a world with more Care | A CanonDivergence Fan project #dn-au:w/mc

A self-proclaimed God arises under the Name of Kira. A renowned detective takes the case, and another Wammys kid decides to care. Bargains are made, and the false God is cast from the heavens.  Without a trace, the person behind L is swallowed by the earth and the legacy is passed on. But not everyone can accept this unresolved disappearance.

Mello declines the successorship of L, to find out what happened to his Idol, and takes on the Alias of Eraldo Coil. It all leads back to the first generation of L successors, and a crime, that lets him call on old friends and foes.

Emphasis on film Noir vibes Death Note has. (Means everybody is a bit of a cunt, gruesome crimes and drama.) This is a heart project I’ve been turning around in my mind since,,, many years. It’s an attempt to tell a story whilst expanding my skills in painting, writing, animating.
