Hello, I am here today with a few other My Hero alters. This is my first time up since I've formed, so everything is a bit new to me.
Other alters that are up today: Himiko Toga (fox hybrid), Izuku Midoriya (bunny hybrid), Katsuki Bakugo (wolf hybrid) and Shoto Todoroki (dragon hybrid).
Feel free to ask us questions or even just say hello. We will be up for a day or two while our host is gone. -Tomura Shigaraki

If you don't mind my asking, how do you go about drawing fat? :3
JUST THE EXCUSE I WAS LOOKING FOR
So, for me personally, a lot of the time when I draw fat characters, I'm not looking to specifically capture the specifics of fat as much as the feel of fat. Bulkier, rounder shapes in the right places that has a feeling of weight to em! A lot of that is intuition and simplification at this point, but it all works on the same frame as just any ol' person. Like take this-
For example. This is the basis for any body shape, not just the more average one that it may imply. Sure- it can be that average body shape:
But also a fat one too!
And a big part of that is knowing where fat usually tends to bunch up on the body, so lets take a look piece by piece! (Please keep in mind this is very simplified, and not completely precise in some parts)
THE FACE: Cheeks (in purple) and especially the chin (in light blue) are the places where a lot of the fat is gonna wanna gather and round out on your face! Additionally, theres a small pocket of fat beneath the cranium on the backside of your head. It's small, but it is there. I believe fat can build up elsewhere like the bridge of your nose and forehead, but generally speaking, you're gonna have a whole lot more buildup in other places first.
THE TORSO: A lot of the fat built up on the torso is gonna be sent to your tummy. More cushioning for vital organs, mostly out of the way, it just makes sense. Additionally, the lower backs fat builds up and joins with a patch of fat on your sides that forms what is typically referred to as the love handles to make that double belly look. Along with this, the immediate next target for the torso is the breasts, followed by the upper back!
THE ARMS: For this limb, a VERY notable amount of the fat present builds up on the tricep and bicep areas, lessening once you get towards the flexor and extensor areas. You can almost think of the arm as a sort of triangular shape, wide side starting from the shoulder and tapering towards the hand, which itself mostly builds up fat around the back of the hand and the fingers. The shoulders themselves don't build up too much fat unless you got a lot
THE LEGS: And finally, you can think of the legs having pretty similar curves to what you're probably already used to thinking. The front of the thighs getting a big buildup, along with the back of the calves, the other parts being flatter in turn. As far as the feet go- similarly to the hands, the top of the feet, along with the heels get most of the buildup, as fat on your soles would impede mobility. The glute, hip and crotch area will also especially build up fat, lending to the same triangular shape that you can see in the arm!
A big thing to note with fat is that it tends to taper off towards joints. Your knees, elbows, shoulders, hips, and all the other places are gonna have significantly less fat so that you remain mobile and flexible, as that's important!
Now that we have an idea of where fat builds up on the body, you might have something that looks kinda like this
Which yes, does demonstrate a solid understanding of the places fat builds up, lacks the weight you're probably trying to convey, which brings us to out next point! Fat is well... heavy! Gravity is what gives fat much of it's shape, especially as you tread towards larger and larger bodies.
This is demonstrated really well on the arms especially-
Those big ol' bits of fat'll really start to sag when left hanging, and they will squish like hell if they run into something. I like to think of these bits of fat as big ol' ovals that squash and stretch depending on if there's an obstacle in their way or not
These are the important shapes to remember when it comes to the weightiness of fat! If you take all of this into mind, you should be getting something a lot closer to that shape you've been after!
Oh, and always remember that fat bodies come in all variety of shapes and sizes! Play around with a whole lot, and seek out all the resources you can! it'll really lend to your knowledge when it comes to this kinda stuff!
And as I always recommend when it comes to learning art- look at what your favorite artists do with fat bodies. See what you really like about the fat bodies they draw and try to replicate it in your own work, I promise you it's one of the most helpful things ever.
This is like the most basic of basics when it comes to drawing fat bodies though. If there's any additional thing about fat bodies, or maybe you want clarification on something, don't be afraid to ask! If there's enough to cover, I'll make an addition to this post!
#hat answers#my art#design talk#tutorials#yeah im unfortunately pretty tired so this gets a liiiitle rambly at the end but i think this covers like the basic basics#i hope this was helpful at all#and again dont be afraid to ask questions and stuff#if theres enough traction/questions on this i will most definitely try to clear up as much as i can in an addition to the post#whoops this took a bit!

I hate that they're special cause it means if I don't get them all this month, I'll never get the chance again ;-;

Bless, I got you. Here's a list of some of the places you can get rainbow jellys
1] I recommend using your guild pulls to get the coins for cubes, also keep your gacha coins in stocks for times like this if your not good at saving! it's a real life saver bc it's not direct currency to use so your less likely to use it!
2] The error busters has a cube reward [2000 total I think! ]
3] daily adds, I know they are annoying but it adds up I swear-
4] my cookie adventure has many cube rewards
5] Basically search through any daily reward system like charster missions because cube missions take longer than normal ones
6] strawberry coin shop [3000]
7] the new master mode has around 3k as well!
Alot of it is daily grinding and saving! Remember, you can allways get normal costumes from the special gacha so it's better to save for the special times!
May luck be in your favor 🍀
#i know you probably didn't want a list but i actually love being efficient [COUGH COUGH A SWEAT COUGH COUGH]#so if anyone needs help dont be afraid to ask!#theres absolutely no dumb questions! ^^ good luck with getting costumes ♡#dreamy talks

I don’t even ship Kunizai but GOD GOOGLY MOOGLY your art is DEVINE! I love how you use perspective and you style is beautiful. How did you develop your style? :D
Hello and thank you so much!!! First off i would maybe say the main influence of my style is having some other artist to idolize HAHA, often when i find art i absolutely adore i study the part i love the most (coloring, rendering, composition, etc) and try to integrate it into my own art, but using my own techniques and brushes etc! So ultimately what i end up with is an inspired art style, rather than directly traving or copying
Also being really obsessed with something helps. I got obsessed with kunikida like 3 years ago and drawing him over and over again helped my art develop like crazy LMAO
#idk i feel like this isnt helpful but this was all my answer is HAHA#if u have any art/techniquw specific questions dont be afraid to ask!#ask cocoa

question! I've heard Floydneer is a bad ship; do you know why?
ok, going to be concise and to the point; the age gap between them is way to grand in my opinion, even if people say that Veneer is 18 or over, that is still a teenager, while Floyd is in his 30s. those are two COMPLETLY different stages of life. (thats like the same age difference between me and my older siblings and its just UGH) also, considering the fact that Veneer was compliant with kidnapping and torturing Floyd for months, that just makes me feel so so icky, im not too into the whole 'Stockholm syndrome' trope cause that is just,,,,, weird
so thats my two cents on it! most of the people ive seen talk about it bring up the same points as well. also sorry if this makes like, no sense,,,, i have some serious brain fog rn😵💫😵💫😵💫

Do you have any tips for taking photos of physical objects? I like making things, but taking photos of them is the worst :(
Sure! I also struggle with taking pictures of stuff, but I can give you two big suggestions (and I'll try to keep my explanation brief for now, but you are always welcome to come back and ask for clarification!). As always, these suggestions are not rules, so if it goes against what you know or have been taught or what works best for you, feel free to disregard it lol.
Lighting, and set-up (which I will roll camera angle into).
You don't need anything big and fancy to take nice pictures of what you make. You don't need a big DSLR camera or box lights or a crazy image processing program. You can take great pictures of your stuff right at home with things you already have. I know a lot of potters who take decent pictures of their work in a corner of their living room with a simple paper sweep (poster board), one directional light (one guy I know even uses just a lamp and points it towards his pots), and something to take pictures with whether that's your phone or a little point and shoot.
Lighting. A good rule of thumb is to not back-light your work as your primary light source*. Make sure your primary light source is in front and pointing at the thing you're trying to photograph. You can even kick it off to the side for a nice three-quarters effect! You CAN have some back-lighting as long as is is acting as your fill (secondary light source) OR if you're shooting outdoors. If you want to go for natural lighting, gray days are actually quite nice as they offer even lighting (though if you want that bright sun, go for it!). *That is not to say back-lit things are bad, just that they aren't necessarily going to show off your work unless it's designed to be that way.
Set-up. This can be as simple or as complex as you want it to be! Figure out how you want to shoot your work, and then figure out how to light the space. If you want something clean, create a light box. Use a box with a white/light gray sheet draped inside to make a contained space, or pick a corner of a room and either drape a sheet or use some poster board to make a little box you can easily put up and take down. If you want something that's more set up, I have actually used my work space as my backdrop. Show the tools you are using, maybe some material, and build a composition around your piece! That takes a little more effort but can be quite nice.

As for taking the actual picture, I have found that I personally like to have it slightly up at a shallow angle so it's not straight on or too high looking down on the piece. You can easily create an unflattering angle, but there are little nuances to taking pictures of those more extreme angles. It's just not what I'm interested in lol. Have your piece nice and centered at the angle you like, and make sure the camera is focusing on your work as much as possible and not the surrounding environment (I won't get into depth of field and all that, but that's worth keeping in mind). You can do that with some simple settings our technology has these days! (Also side note: if you are using your phone, clean the camera lens on your shirt first. It's crazy how easily that little thing can get dirty and give you smudgy looking photos lol)
I'll stop myself there, but hopefully these suggestions can help you feel more confident in taking pictures of your work! As always, feel free to ask more questions if you have any.
#ask me stuff!#arting#yes this was my brief explanation im sorry lmao#photography#i do a lot of product photography at work so i have a lot of practice#so like#take lots of pictures#try different things#look up tutorials on youtube and stuff#ive taken a LOT of bad pictures to get to where i am lol so dont be afraid to take those bad shots#i am very against gate keeping skills so like#please feel free to ask questions#and if i dont know the answer ill try to point you in the right direction

Hi, this might be a stupid question and I don't know of you know the answer, but since you know so much about Noel- I just finished the Sirius' Conclusion game and I'm confused if Noel is dead or not. Actually I don't understand if he can die like a normal human being or if he is immortal. Did he just get transported into another realm with the mansion? Sorry for asking
Hello! Yes, Noel is pretty much dead. When the mansion gets "dragged into the darkness" it's not described particularly clearly what that means, but Noel thinks to himself about how he "wants this all to end" and "wants to be dragged into the darkness" (that scene is from noel's route in the first game) in a way that very much implies that this means that when that happens to him, he'll cease to exist or at the very least not have consciousness anymore and so we couldn't consider him to be "alive" but I understand how that might be unclear.
Short answer: yes he's pretty much dead
As far as "if noel can die like a normal human" - we don't really have any confirmation either way. We know he can die by being dragged into darkness, but whether he can die by normal means like a human is... hm. In ashe's route, when he turns into a monster, we see it leaves what looks to be remnants of his body behind, which could mean that his body can withstand far more than that of a regular human due to his curse that kind of rips apart his body all the time anyway ... but we don't really know the logistics of that so it might not mean that
* as a side note, there is a scene in ashe's route where he locks himself in his room so that "nobody will kill him" which you could suggest lends credence to the idea that noel can be killed normally, but i honestly don't think noel cares much about his life to begin with so this scene was more likely a strategy to make himself look more trustworthy to claire (after all, if he was the murderer, he wouldn't be acting afraid of being killed, right?)
my personal headcanon is that noel can only be killed via magic, and only if that magic is directed at argus (so either in monster form or at his eye). When noel takes a magic ward from sirius it seems to do serious harm to him, so i wouldn't be surprised if killing argus (in his eye) or his monster form is possible with wards and stuff. But we don't really have any confirmation of any of that, that's just personal speculation
#witch's heart spoilers#noel levine#asks#anonymous#btw? if you ever have like . lore questions especially about noel never feel afraid to ask#i dont remember/know Everything but i love yapping about him lol
