Während dieser Unterhaltungen im Büro des Chief, kommuniziert Fennhoff am Fenster durch Morsezeichen mit Dottie underwood, die das Büro mit einem Scharfschützengewehr im Visier hat. Er befielt ihr, Agent Peggy Carter auszuschalten.

Als sich die Aufmerksamkeit des SSR mehr auf Agent Carter konzentriert, wird Agent Yauch abgestellt um Dr. Fennhoff zu bewachen. Als nächstes bringt Fennhoff den Chief selbst durch Hypnose in seine gewallt, befielt ihm Agent Carter und Edwin Jarwin einzusperren. 

Danach bringt Chief Dooley Fennhoff in das Labor der SSR und zeigt ihm das von Stark entwickelte Midnight Oil, dass schon für das bekannte Massaker bei Finow verantwortlich ist. Er hilft ihm auch damit aus dem Gebäude zu fliehen. Danach zieht er die von Howard Stark entwickelte Hitzeweste an. Als der Chief wieder zu klarem Verstand kommt, ist es dem Team der SSR und Wissenschaftlern nicht möglich die Weste vom Körper des Chief zu entfernen, denn dies würde eine Gewaltige Explosion auslösen. Daraufhin stürzt sich der Chief aus dem Fenster des New York Bell Company Gebäude.

Midnight Oil Anschlag im Kino 

Nachdem Fennhoff erfolgreich das Midnight Oil aus dem Hauptquartier der SSR stehen konnte, wünscht er von Dottie Underwood das Gas in der Öffentlichkeit zu testen. Sie entscheiden sich dazu, dies in einem Kino während einer Filmvorstellung zu testen.

Dottie Underwood besorgt sich einen Kinderwaagen um in diesem den Behälter mit dem Gas zu deponieren und fährt diesen Kinderwaagen in den Kinosaal. Zurück im Hauptquartier wird Agent Sousa an ein Bett gefesselt behandelt, und Howard Stark stellt sich dem SSR um die Wirkung von Midnight Oil und die umstände bei Finow zu erläutern.

Entführung von Howard Stark 

Die Entführung von Howard Stark ist ein erfolgreicher Teil von Fennhoff’s Racheplan. Hier entführt er Howard aus dem SSR Hauptquartier um ihn mit einem Flugzeug das Midnight Oil über tausenden New Yorker Bewohner freizusetzen.

In dieser wird das öffentliche Ansehen von Howard Stark wieder hergestellt, und bekannt gegeben,  das es sich hierbei nur um eine Strategie handelte die waren Spione aufzuspüren und gefangen zu nehmen. 

Dottie bringt ein Selbstschießendes Gewehr gegenüber der Position des Rednerpultes an um damit einen Anschlag auf Tony vorzutäuschen. Als die Schüsse aus dem Gewehr fallen, und Howard in Sicherheit von Jarvis in Sicherheit gebracht wird, gelingt es ihn in ein gestohlenes Polizeifahrzeug zu locken. Dieses haben Fennhoff und Dottie am Abend davor dem NYPD Officer Pike durch Hypnose entwendet.

Während dessen finden sich auch tausende Schaulustige am Time Square ein um an den Feierlichkeiten des V-E Day teilzunehmen.

Im Auto fällt Dottie Howard eine geladene Waffe vor und versichert sich somit, dass dieser nicht die Flucht ergreift. So begeben sie sich auf den Weg zum geheimen Hangar und Lagerhalle von Howard Stark an einem privaten Flugplatz bei New York.

Im Hangar angekommen tötet Dottie Officer Pike durch einen Schuss aus ihrer Pistole. Dabei konfrontiert sie ihn mit ihrem gemeinsamen Treffen von vor 6 Monaten. Es fällt Howard schwer sich daran zu erinnern und kann zuerst ihren Ausführungen nicht folgen. Mehrfach versucht sich  Howard an das treffen und ihren Namen zu erinnern. Es fällt ihm jedoch nicht ein, dass er sie unter dem Namen Ida Emke kennen gelernt hat. Darauf hin trifft Howard ein Schlag mit dem Fuß von Dottie/Ida. 

Danach erzählt Fennhoff davon, warum er diesen Racheplan gegen Howard geschmiedet hat und hypnotisiert Howard mit der Illusion er begebe sich mit seinem Flugzeug auf dem Weg zum nördlich Atlantik um Steve Rogers zu finden. Darauf hin startet  Howard eines seiner Flugzeuge und hebt ab.

Agent Carter führt eine Gruppe aus SSR Agenten zu dem Hangar, worauf hin Fennhoff und Dottie fliehen. Sie kann Dottie stellen und es beginnt ein Zweikampf zwischen den Frauen. 

Denn Carter gewinnt und Dottie aus dem fester tritt. Sie fällt auf den Flügel eines Flugzeuges und sieht augenscheinlich tot aus.
