Note: Not including Pete or the Phantom Blot since they already had animated appearances and would most certainly be included.
I would love also hear your reasons why.

Mickey, who would you say is your worst foe?
Mortimer, Pete, the blot, Julius, the mad doctor, or-
.....Other names I can't think of right now.
P.S, is it possible to be asking you too many questions? Don't wanna be a bother!
Hello hatred-n-hav0c,
Don't worry about askin' too many questions. I like answerin' them. Though it may take me a while to get to them all, haha. 😅
As for my worst foe. Gee, that's a toughie. I deal with a lot of terrible people who are all awful in different ways, it's hard to compare 'em. It doesn't help that it seems like every year each one tries to outdo themselves in horribleness.
I mean just goin' the list you mentioned, like Mortimer...
Well... So listen, Mortimer definitely can be a pain in the butt and I definitely wish he would get a clue and leave Minnie and me alone, but I dunno if I would call him my worst foe. To be honest he is more of an annoyance than anything. A BIG annoyance mind you. But nothin' I can't handle. He usually ends up embarassin' himself anyways haha.
Pete on the other hand is a piece of work. He's a big bully who uses his larger size to beat his way into what he wants. It doesn't help that he's a pretty crafty menace. Able to come up with all sorts of new ways to commit crimes and teamin' with just the right person to help him with the job. I've definitely dealt with him way more than I wish and would definitely put him up there near the top of my list.
In fact there's a lot of people I would put up there, Doublejoke with his nasty tricks, Miklos with his frustratin' mimicry, Portis with his immoral experiments (I think this is the mad doctor you are talking about?), Sylvester with his sinister schemes, Dr. Vulter with his harsh cruelty, Ecks, Doublex, and Triplex with their inhumane inventions (they could be the mad doctor I guess), The Rhyming Man with his... evil rhymes... I'm gettin' off track
To answer your question, I really think any of these guys could be my worst foe on any day. Dr. Vulter and the Rhyming Man are pretty particularly awful, but I feel like I don't see them as much. I mean Pete is more of a consistent threat in Mouseton. I feel like he is the one I have to deal with the most. I feel kinda connected to him as if we've been foes in many timelines or some nonsense like that. But I feel like the severity of his crimes varies, and sometimes he could even be reasoned with. I guess that leaves...
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention...
Him.
I talked 'bout him before. But the Phantom Blot is one of the worst. He's a twisted megalomaniac with no sense of morality and just doesn't know when to quit. I have to be vigilant when I am on a case he's involved in, or risk dealin' with a vicious surprise attack or trap he planned for me. I don't know why he specifically makes me feel this uncomfortable, but he just does. Honestly, sometimes I wish I didn't have to deal with him at all. Yet I oddly feel drawn to him. But someone needs to stop him, and I have a better record than most when it comes to handlin' him.
But maybe I shouldn't pick a "Worst Foe". Wouldn't want any villain to read this and try to outdo the others to get the number one spot. 🙄

Which of the Mickey Rouges has Donald meet that aren’t Pete in the comics, drawings do not count, it has to be a comic. Here, we'll be counting any comic that we can get our hands on because it makes things way easier, trust me, guys.
Blot: This is a easy one, Blot has meet Donald a good amount of time, even in his pk form.

Scuttle: idk why I completely forgot, Scuttle technical first appearance is literally a duck comic (yes had a different name, but his name changes alot through before finally landing on Scuttle). So yeah, Scuttle and Donald had met.

Portis: Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think these two had even talk to eachother before. They appeared in the same comics together but I don't think they ever technically meet.
Eil: Weirdly yes. There was these weird UK comics where he was the main bad guy since Scrooge didn't exist. They also meet in Lonesome Ghosts in the Machine.

Trudy: also yes and in different universes too, wild that she meet Donald but Portis seemedly haven't.

Sylvester: Yes but for the longest time they haven't and it drove me crazy.

Vulter: Meet reaglar Doanld and pk at the same time and melted his car. I don't know what to do with this information.

Miklos: No, (change that topolino, please)
Rhymes: Nope.
Doublejoke: triple nope.
Professor Ecks, doublex, tripelx: Kinda of? Okay, so there frist meeting was super weird since they were going for a classic vibe and decided to change their names and act like this the first time anyone have meet them, but they did meet again in the Captain Nemo series. So yes.

Drawing every character from the Floyd Gottfredson Mickey Mouse comics, part twenty one: Gloomy the Mechanic.
He was introduced in the 1932 storyline "The Mail Pilot". He is a friend of Mickey Mouse's who is an airplane mechanic that teaches him how not only how to fly and repair planes, but how to remain alive on his missions.
In the first adventure, Gloomy's character is a stark contrast to the role of Mickey. While Mickey is completely devoted to the adventure, Gloomy is foreboding and extremely pessimistic.
The next time he appears is in the 1935 comic story "Mickey and the Pirate Submarine". In this adventure, Gloomy has a more active role: his skill is necessary to assist Mickey with a prototype air-sea ship called the "Submarplane" though he is captured with Mickey by Dr. Vulter and, while captives on his island, Mickey, with the help of Gloomy defeats Dr. Vulter.

Detective Mickey
Who do you want to be...
What do you want to do...
What are you willing to do to achieve that...
After solving a crime that has rocked his entire world. Mickey has started a new chapter of his life as a fledgling detective keeping Mouseton and the whole world safe from threats such as Pete, Dr. Vulter, the Rhyming Man, and his most chilling and dangerous enemy yet... The Phantom Blot.
The mouse always had a desire for justice, a heart for adventure, and a yearning to explore not only the world but his place in it. But is this truly the path that will help him find who he wants to be or has he made a wrong turn that will eventually lead to a dead end...
This is a blog dedicated to my Detective Mickey fanfiction series. A series that explores my take on the Mickey Mouse characters. This series takes inspiration from the Disney comics as well as Mickey and Friends media in general. It is sort of a Ducktales for the mouseverse side of things. You can read the fanfiction on my AO3 account and I will be posting updates on here and on my main account @sweettjrose.
I will try to post the stories in order, but I am more interested in capturing specific stories than trying to write everything that happens chronologically. So the timeline of what I post may be all over the place. I'll try my best to make it clear what happens when.
I would love to hear any thoughts you have and answer any questions through the "Ask Me Anything" both here and on my main account.
Though be careful... You don't know who else may be lurking in the shadows. Watching. Listening. Waiting...

Some more ideas
Vulter would have a jaw like theme, especially when he's in his submarine.

Rhymes have very slow yet rhythmic pianos and Theremins.

Trudy- not completely sure on the exact instruments, but I imagine a more cheerful theme with a sightly criminal vibe undertone

I've been thinking more about what would comic villians be like if they were the main threat in animated movies made with accual passion to them and it has been really fun untill i got to phantom blot and my mind started to make me eat the walls cuz oooooo the ideas The ideas are being thrown at me by me
So for others it has been really fun too like
I've been thinking of a theme for sylvester I figured his main instruments would be a bass, a woodwind section some piano and strings, I also thought about him having 2 themes, one for his facade of being a kind lawyer just trying to help ya out and one for him accualy being him and stealing thevin taking whats not his from anyone anywhere in a manipulitive ways that probably made some accual shady lawyers go "he just like me fr" I also think his themes could be pretty slow because I think the most fun scenes with sylvester are the ones when he's explaining his plans or making them and a slow theme could give you that vibe of something sinister brewing in his mind, and I think his clothes being animated symiliary to rasputins clothes from anastasia, that being you can see its animated frame to frame and looks very light his probably woudnt went that far, mostly bc his clothes arent that loose and they arent so hanhing and long if you know what I mean?
despite pete already having multiple themes bc he's just such of an old character and he has appeared in many animated projects and movies [musketer pete ily] I thought about a theme for him too, i thought a guitar or a bancho would be nice and some drums something simple I think a simple theme with pretty basic instuments would be good for pete because I personaly think he has those alley cat vibes, theres not much to look around for motivations and his plans are usually not mindblowing but thats what makes him so charming to me, he's a simple man and I simply love <3
and I've been thinking about phantom blot and I mean the early and these creepy not jokey apperances of his the most, they really stand out to me and have a special place in my head, with animation I thought it would be really good to have his whole animation be frame to frame and have him slowly linger over characters as they themselfs don't see him but we just see him linger over them probably taking over a good chunk of the screen animated to smoothly and slowly that it makes us uneven it's hard to explain in words so I thought of accualy making a little animation showing what I mean
but then I thought of the theme for him...and I realized, the best theme for the phantom blot would be nothing, silence in its purest form a white noise possibly appearing would be of comfort, It would really make you feel the PHANTOM in phantom blot

So the ape toon that appears with Julius is the scientist from the short Runaway Brain, Dr Vulter or an oc?? I was left with the doubt and it reminds me a lot of both apes xd 😅🤔
It’s the one from Runaway Brain, Dr Frankenollie! Which is even more fitting cause the giant monster that looks like Pete in the short IS called Julius as well

Came up with a Disney Comic Villains Teacher AU this is what I have:
Peg Leg Pete (Mr. Pete) - P.E. Teacher
Also works as the Coach for the Wrestling and Football Teams
Doesn't put much effort in teaching but cares a lot about getting his teams to win through ruthless practices or any other means cheating
Married to the Art Teacher
Trudy Van Tubb (Mrs. Van Tubb) - Art Teacher
The most beloved teacher at the school
Expanded the art program to also include fashion design and jewelry making
Does not allow anyone to hurt or insult her students
Works with the Drama Teacher to keep the arts department alive and funded, despite constant threats of closure
Sylvester Shyster (Mr. Shyster) - Civics Teacher
A good teacher who is able to make what could easily be a boring class entertaining
Part of this is that he often shows the shady side of the politics and slips in loopholes and ways to get around the laws he teaches
Knows all the school codes, rules, and statutes by heart as well as how to get around them.
Spends a lot of time with the P.E. and Arts teacher
Portis Egmont (Mr. Egmont) - Chemistry Teacher
One of the many science teachers at the school
Can be seen as a bit boring, but grabs the kids attention by showing off cool inventions and experiments he works on in his free time
Constantly feels like he is competing and proving himself against the other science teachers (Ecks, Doublex, Triplex, etc.)
Is related to the P.E. Teacher and is visited by the Drama Teacher a lot
The Phantom Blot (Mr. Blot) - Drama / Music Teacher
Has very high standards and can be very strict and intimidating
Has bigger plans for his career (Principal, Head of the School Board, Taking over the entire Department of Education) but is working as a teacher for now
Only teaches music to find the best musicians and singers for his plays
But his students still like him as he can be very charming on his better days, clearly knows what he's doing, and is partially why the arts department is still alive
Sponsors many of the clubs including the drama, track, and robotics club
Scuttle - Janitor / Bus Driver / Cook / Etc.
Not a teacher but still a well known and well loved member of the staff
Usually tasked with random odd jobs throughout the school outside of his typical duties
The students love him for all the silly and entertaining shenanigans he gets into
Spends a lot of time with the P.E., Chemistry, Arts, and Drama Teacher
Dr. Vulter (Dr. Vulter) - JROTC (Military Prep) / Environmental Science Teacher
The kids in his JROTC program are extremely loyal and obedient to him
Even his science students know not to mess with him
It is mystery on whether his kids are actually doing a normal JROTC program or something a bit more, but people are too scared to try and find out
His past is also a mystery, though he does have a lot of aquatic memorabilia
The Rhyming Man (Mr. Rhyme) - Creative Writing / Language Arts Teacher
Talks in rhyme as he teaches
Pretty good at teaching, though is known for brutal grading, having erratic temperamental behavior at times, and in general just being scary
Nobody really knows anything about him as he usually keeps to himself and focuses only on teaching his class.
The only person he really talks to is Dr. Vulter, though he does seems to strongly dislike the Drama Teacher
#disney comics villains#disney au#phantom blot#the phantom blot#peg leg pete#trudy van tubb#scuttle#sylvester shyster#the rhyming man#dr. vulter#please add on#tbh i added music for Blot as I figured he would want to find the best singers/#and musicians for his plays

High-Quality Fun from a Comics Master One of the world's most recognizable pop-culture icons, Walt Disney's unstoppable breadwinner Mickey Mouse has a wild past of which many fans are blissfully and unenviably unaware. It's safe to say that no other mouse has experienced more daredevil action or comic thrills than the classic comic-strip Mickey, who returns in Volume 3 of this priceless hardcover series with awesome adventures of epic proportions. With help from scripters Ted Osborne and Merrill de Maris and inker Ted Thwaites, artist-plotter Floyd Gottfredson, who anonymously guided the strip for 45 years, takes our big-eared champion through saber-rattling suspense in Middle-Eastern Umbrellastan and dusty shoot-em-ups in treacherous Texas, where those who only know the later-milquetoast Mickey might be surprised to see him packing a six-shooter. It's here that Horace Horsecollar plays the partner-in-adventure for the last time before Dippy Dawg (the later Goofy) lopes his way to primary-sidekick status. Barely taking a breath, Mickey and Dippy return to Mouseton, where they and Donald Duck (in an extended cameo) face down mobsters who want to wreck their crime-fighting newspaper. The valiant rodent deals with the adorable but trouble-prone "Bobo the Elephant," meets the malicious miser Eli Squinch, and takes on the well-developed threat of Dr. Vulter with the help of his "Pirate Submarine." Plus, the slovenly sidekick Pegleg Pete steps out of evil lawyer Sylvester Shyster's shadow to become Mickey's main villain. The superbly packaged Volume 3 includes over 50 pages of special features and is a joy to read. Go to Amazon
High Adventure and Humor in a Quality Package Once again, everyone's favorite Big Cheese is destined for thrills, chills, and spills! In Volume 4 of this high-quality series, piloted by the brilliant penciler-plotter Floyd Gottfredson, with scripts by Ted Osborne and inks by Ted Thwaites and Al Taliaferro, the fearless rodent solves the mystery of "The Seven Haunts," with help from Goofy and guest star Donald Duck, and experiences breathless grandeur in the "Island in the Sky," a tale Gottfredson was hard-pressed to top. There is horse-laugh humor from the gluttonous "Oscar the Ostrich" and exotic excitement when "Mickey Mouse Joins the Foreign Legion." There are multiple appearances from Pegleg Pete, Mickey's now-indisputable chief antagonist, but there are gangsters, bandits, and other villains to fill the gaps. It's not all guiltless fun, though, as "Jungle Treasure" includes unfortunate ethnic stereotypes, and not every tale is full of optimism, as evidenced by the PRISONER OF ZENDA-like "Monarch of Medioka," in which Mickey becomes a king. Still, despite a few missteps and thematic difficulties, Volume 4 contains creative stories, animation-worthy artwork, and over 40 pages of special features, making it a great addition to any fan's collection. Go to Amazon
Finally, a reprint series of the classic Gottfredson Mickey Mouse strips!! Growing up I read many Walt Disney Comics. One of my main sources was the great "Walt Disney Comics Digest" put out by Gold Key Comics/Western Publications. I liked many of the comics they reprinted, but among the best were the "duck stories", especially the longer Donald Duck and Uncle Scrooge adventures, by Carl Barks (tho like many of us, I would learn who Barks was many years later) and the Mickey Mouse stories by Floyd Gottfredson (tho it was much later that I learned their names). Go to Amazon
Gottfredson, master story teller of Mickey Mouse This is classic Mickey Mouse. This is the Mickey Mouse I grew up with (I'm older than dirt). Like Carl Barks, Floyd Gottfredson was a master story teller and though some of his early work appears less sleek than the later Mickeys; it was very good for the times and the stories hold up very well whether you are 4 or 94. Floyd did Mickey for 40 or so years, his art style changed and improved. Gottfredson's stories are amoung the very best Mickey Mouse stories produced at Disney. You won't go wrong buying any art and stories by Gottfredson. He is to Mickey Mouse like Carl Barks is to the Disney Ducks. Highly recommended Go to Amazon
Five Stars Five Stars A hero for today Five Stars Five Stars Five Stars Five Stars Five Stars Great! I still enjoy them today

Favorite facts about each villain for the main because the masses need to know.
Pete - May be the main big bad but is a weirdo by every definition. Once almost ruined the economy if it wasn't for Mickey.
Blotty- It seems like evertime he worked with the other villains it turn into this image:
Sylvester - Has this low-key beef with Horace that is somehow still round even though these two don't really interact all that often.
Portis- Him playing the piano.. I know this happened in two different au but I what this in the mainline canon too, please.
Trudy- Is straight-up friends with Minnie at times and occasionally Clarabelle. Which yes make things super awkward with Mickey and Pete.
Doublejoke- In the mirror verse arc, they made this counterpart super serious and Gloomy as I for one kinda find that funny.
Eli- Isn't even from Mouseton, cams to get this goddam elephant back but just decided to stay and put up a business there. Rarely ever ends up in jail in an actual story.
Ecks, Doublex and Triplex- Had the infamous alligator pit that dealt with attempted ceneorship because of lizards..
Vulter- One the villains who gave Mickey PSD. Stop traumatizing this Mouse! Also literally called himself Zeus in his latest arc. The egoist.
Miklos- People keep forgetting this, but he can pretend to anyone, not just Micky, he has a row of disguises - where my psychological horror of Miklos pretending to be everyone that Mickey's love Topolino?
Rhymes- A one off line but I find funny that he's terrible cook supposedly, master spy can't cook for his life. Also the Alex thing.

Alot of Mickey enemies don't have an official, set, backstory to how they became who they are today, even peeps like Blot and Pete, any possible backstory details tend to change or ignored given what a story needs. Blot has many takes on his possible backstory, while everyone seems to agree Pete is close with his mom in some way, if she's a criminal herself, tend to be the thing that changes.
Like the only two recuring villains with official set backstory that that informs their actions are Doublejoke and Mister Vertigo- fitting since they are pretty new compared to the others, especially Vertigo.
Thus, I make my own fan backstory for each villain in my head for the funnies, and I'm curious what everyone else's take on backstory for these bad bad guys especially since @sweettjrose has wonderful takes on a couple of them. Super curious on all the Pete and Blot backstory takes since they enough bits to pieces together a backstory with what we know about him but I'm also curious on-.

Portis - Pete's cousin
