Dreaming Skies (21k, E), a not-so-short fic about Draco going to work with Ron at Charlie's dragon reserve in Romania, was written in thirteen manic days, and this week has reached ONE THOUSAND kudos❤️🎉!!! And to top it off, the ridiculously talented and endlessly lovely El created this gorgeous artwork to celebrate!! Ron pulled Draco’s coat off, tossing it in a heap on the dusty floor—Draco spared a brief thought for the blueberry doughnut he’d secreted in the inside pocket—then looked up. “I spoke to Mum last night,” he said, almost conversationally, and Draco, whose brain had gone slow and silly from the cold, and the early start, and the rasp of Ron’s chest hair beneath his fingernails, didn’t reply. “Told her about you. About us.”

@tackytigerfic and I wrote this little fic as a thank you for @getawayfox who created the most unbelievably perfect art for Dreaming Skies (see the banner above!). It was just so much fun to write together again, and to revisit our boys on the reserve after all this time <3

Summary: When Draco had started The Malfoy Fix, he'd expected plenty of fashion-disaster(s) clients and had figured having an open-door policy was good for business. Although, catering to celebrity-Aurors Harry Potter and Ron Weasley was not on the agenda.

Dressing up Potter and Weasley was more humorous than Draco had initially thought. It was also just as nerve-racking. It was true that initially, Weasley had been the one who was more than willing to pick fights with Draco; he was also the one who now actually listened to Draco, trying on whatever outfit Draco would pick out. Potter, on the other hand, questioned everything. "Why does he get the dark blue? I like dark blue." He always wanted to try whatever Weasley was trying and would give clothes selected for him to Weasley. "Purple's not really my colour." "It's not his size." "I'll spell it to fit over Ron's body." At that, Weasley had smirked. What was even worse was that they never left the room to go and change. They didn't even turn around or wait for Draco to turn around. For days, Draco had to endure Potter and Weasley getting naked in front of each other, their playful flirting, finding reasons to touch each other, and on the final day, Draco had to even break off the pseudo-wrestling match they'd initiated on the sofa because Weasley wanted to wear a silk scarf Draco had picked out for Potter. It was ridiculous. It was too much for Draco to handle, and he'd been right, there hadn't been enough Galleons in the world for Draco to endure all of this and come out unscathed. He was also absolutely, utterly jealous.

During the Second Wizarding War, Ron Weasley got bit werewolf and became a bit of a recluse due to the stigma (or due some kind of horrible incident that occurred while he was still trying to control his new powers). Meanwhile, Draco Malfoy become a successful potion-maker that does mostly mail-in orders due to the bad reputation from the war. Ron uses Draco services for wolfbane potion without knowing his identity. One month Ron did not place his order and Draco nonetheless sends the potion on the full moon. When owl returned with the potion, Draco attempts delivery himself. Ron was already in werewolf form when Draco arrives, fortunately Ron’s wolf claims Draco as mate. Smut ensues after some back and forth after Draco trying to Ron from just pouncing on him.

During the Second Wizarding War, Draco got bit werewolf and became a bit of a recluse mostly due to the stigma and bad reputation. One of the routine home checks bring Auror Ron Weasley to the manor which happens coincide with the full moon. Draco wolf claims Ron as mate and smut ensues.
